If I could Id give minus - 5 stars!!Needed repair on a field & brush mower. Maybe because they were dealing with an old woman... I had the machine delivered... what a sorry mess they returned after over $500 in charges. I will never go to any Town and Country shop again!Parts were not fully attached or secured! I understand weve been in a pamdemic. If you dont know if you have a repair person shut the doors! Its easy. Making people pay from bad work is wrong!!!It broke down within 15 minutes of use!!
Have been a customer since 2011 and Im sorry to say that they have just lost me as a customer. Dropped off my rider two weeks ago to sharpen or replace the blades. The gentleman at the counter assured me that for this easy service it would not take the full two week period. And by the way, I was fine with the two week period. The problem here is when I called to check on the progress I got a run around, they couldnt understand why it wasnt finished, said they would call me back with some information, I waited two days, nothing. I called again this morning and got another run around. Instead of causing a scene I decided to go pick up my mower. This lack of service is so unlike Town and Country. Sorry guys.
I bought a Stihl chainsaw and an electric weed trimmer from this store, and Ive been happy with both. Employees are friendly and helpful, give good recommendations, and dont try to oversell. They also serviced my generator, which is now running better than it ever has. Good thing, too, given all the power outages this winter! Highly recommend this shop.
Good price, good equipment (not 1st hand, will update👍)and from my experience, AMAZING, friendly and personable sales help. 👍
Great service, successful purchase.
Special order for our riding lawn mower. Price was great. Salespeople were knowledgeable and easy to talk with.
My Ariens riding mower needed an engine rebuild courtesy of Kohler engines, Town and Country Tractors did a great job of installing the new parts. It now runs like it should without a trail of oil behind it. My compliments to Kohler and to Town and Country Tractor.
Ok, didnt have what I needed but ok
I was so late to get there to pick up my wood chipper on last Wednesday a day before Thanksgiving.... two gentlemen behind the building so kindly re-opened the cashier only for me to pick up the chipper. I’m sure they wanted to leave for their families but they kindly did it for me. Of course my wood chipper got repaired good and they even sharpen the cutters which I completely forgot asking it. The cost was way lower than I expected too. So I have to say everything was perfect. Thank you so much and surely I’ll come back.
Great staff, the service is always good, awesome place for tractors or tools!
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good assortment of small tractors and implements in stock.
These guys are great! Ive been in twice now. The first time was for a push mower. Solution: trade in mine and pay a small sum for another used mower (which has been working great!). Today, it was for a mini Troy-Bilt tiller that I couldnt start. Mike was totally up front & honest, saying he didnt want me to spend $100 servicing it, only to see me again a year or two later. In neither case did I feel pushed to buy something new. They showed me the new products, but they didnt push them. When Im ready to buy new, Ill definitely be buying here!
Great service and parts department
Bought Kioti tractor from them and they didnt have loader but would have in a month. Have called several times and no response. I prefer not to complain but when my concerns are not addressed then we have a problem.
Bought a tractor. No pressure, responsive to questions over email, etc. Easy peasy.
Been going there for years everything I buy there they seem to have all the parts for and thats a good thing
The employees here were very polite and knowledgeable The whole store was well organized and clean. This store has a small town feel to it. I will definitely be back.
First class business. I was treated very well the first time and returned for a second purchase. They were very willing to meet my needs and courteous.
Fixed my Kioti tractor. I liked Mike service super.
Nice folks always. Just wish they were open Saturday!
These people are very busy for a reason! They are proactive in resolving even the slightest problem and act and treat you the same way if it’s a huge issue! They give you their attention and help to the best of their ability! Their return customer ratio is extremely high which means they care about every customer who will work with them for their best result.I can’t imagine ever wanting to go elsewhere, I’d sooner wait a month than trust someone who has no or few customers waiting to be served!!😁
Really friendly guys who know their stuff
Here now to purchase a tractor, and they dont have anyone to sell us one. Lost sell for these unprofessionals. Gave a 1 star cause its Sunday praise God.
T&C picked up my Cadet Cub 1517 at my house. Told the driver the problem(s) with my mower, and also told the dispatcher what was wrong as well. The repair shop called me 3 or 4 times and let ME decide what I needed to do. Something I REALLY APPRECIATE!They called be this afternoon and I picked it up. I payed for ALL the repairs they told me I needed done. They were prompt (9 days) start to finish including ordering parts.Very pleasant people from the owner to the guy that picked up the mower. They KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!! I WILL DEFINITELY have them on my speed dial for the next mower disaster! THANK YOU TOWN & COUNTRY!!
These guys truly care about their customers. I purchased a tractor from them a few years back. Recently, I snapped a component that I thought would for sure need to be replaced so I brought it to them in two pieces to have another one ordered. Next thing you know, they called me back (same day) and told me they were able to fix/weld the two pieces back together. I went to pick it up, pulled out my wallet to pay for the repair and they tell me thatll be No charge! ..how about that! I enjoy the true home town service you get from them. Stay local, stay loyal, and theyll do the same for you! Thanks guys! Im sure Ill be seeing you soon!
A wonderful group of people.. super friendly and great listeners
Ive bought a couple of chain saws there and had good experiences. Today I brought my Troy built weed eater in for a possible carb adjustment and I was treated well and was guided to purchase a new carb which would end up being cheaper than the time it would take and cost to adjust and possibly clean it up.
Ive worked with Mike and his crew for years. They have ALWAYS treated me well, and gone above and beyond to get the work done correctly and the get me the parts I need at the best possible price. I live 250 miles away from Town and Country but they are still the business I turn to for my large and small tractor needs. I own over 100 acres in the Walla Walla area and when I need tractor parts I choose Town & Country.
Great people
Pretty good customer service and they have a lot of stuff to buy
Horrible customer service! I knew I would be in trouble when they wouldnt even get back to me when I was trying to spend 16,000 on a mower and they wouldnt even return my emails or calls. They always had an excuse. Unfortunately, they are the only cub cadet dealer around my area so I was stuck with them. Ive had my mower for a month now and I just had a few basic questions and they wont return my emails or calls. Never buy from town and country or cub cadet!
I bought a lawn tractor from Town & Country Tractors exactly one year ago today. I got a better deal on it here than from any of the big box retailers and I did quite a bit of comparison shopping before the purchase. This morning the tractor had an issue that prevented it from operating. I dropped it off to get serviced and before I could make a U turn and drive away I got waved down and told it was fixed. A clutch belt slipped off and it was an easy repair. The customer service at the sale and getting service was great. I appreciate any shop that doesn’t work so advantage of my naivety. I would gladly do business here again and recommend this others.
I was very unhappy with my repair experience. It took them 10 days to pick up my riding mower. Then it took three weeks for repairs and I had to bug them every 2-3 days for a status. After a bill of $800 it was returned to me with a flat tire and a loose fuel line which eventually failed and I had to repair it myself. I wrote a letter to the owner and promised I would not recommend his repair shop to anyone. Just so you are forewarned.
Awesome and knowledgeable team.
Great place. Micah and Kailey are great to work with.
Love that they are open on Sunday, usually have what I need in stock!
Great staff! knowledgeable and great selection of equipment.
Place and its people are amazing, honest and hard-working. Very helpful!
The man at the service desk was rude. Told me to go somewhere else. Wasnt interested in my business. If you can, go somewhere else. I love to support local businesses but this one will never get mine.
Just got done buying my first STIHL gas trimmer, from Town and Country Tractor in Monroe Wa. They were very knowledgeable and helpful about the products and assessories I would need. With STIHL dealer days promotion, I got my trimmer at very good price. I saw their add in The Seattle Times newspaper which prompted me to come visit the store. Im a very satisfied customer that will shop here again.
I dropped off a garden tiller with carb problems and large riding mower with safety switch problems. Was disappointed they said 2 to 2-1/2 weeks. And I was quite concerned they made me leave a sizable deposit with each one. Later I heard from a neighbor some war stories about it taking much longer than promised, and they would keep the deposit if the delay causes you to come pick up your un-serviced item. But in -less than- two weeks they called to say both items were done and fine. The amount they charged seemed reasonable. And they even cleaned up my riding mower a bit, since I had dropped it off in cruddy looking condition. I have used both the tiller and mower and both run fine.Honest, reasonable, timely, skillful. What more than that? I will go back to Town and Country for service again.
Very friendly staff and helpful as well.Offered to carry my broken part across the street to neighboring business to get it fixed
The staff is very pleasant and knowledgeable.
Good folks running a good business.
Top level product knowledge base
Worst service repair experience ever took in my log splitter that should have been covered under warranty ended up with a $150 estimate that turned into a 300 dollar bill and still a broken machine after a month and a half in the shoptook it back in a couple days later to experience some verbal abuse and false accusations followed by threats of a full refund and take your s*** somewhere else!! then when I said there you go thatll get you a good reputation. became oh no problem well fix it...another month and a half goes by before I called Troy Bilt and told them about the situation. A half hour later they got back to me and told me they did not appear to know how to use the phone... my machine was fixed and waiting. then get a phone call from their mechanic Dave a half hour later saying I would get a partial refund for what should have been covered under warranty the first time and I still had to pay for what they misdiagnosed followed by more verbal abuse when I questioned them and then was hung up onAfter all that I sent my dad to pick it up to avoid police intervention. He was told he had to wait for the manager which immediately claimed he knew for a fact it was used commercially. Dad said you are digging a really deep hole and better have some facts to back that up. The manager immediately turned around and got a full refund.Thankfully Ive been a service tech for nearly 20 years and could tell I was being lied to and cheated when I questioned them it was clear they did not know the answer so they lied more something about oil shear..
Friendly and knowledgeable counter help, great that they are open on sundays !!
Nice people, unique gift ideas and goat chow I need for my girls.
Great service willing to help and had everything needed
Great selection and service!
~7 years ago my wife and I bought a heavily used riding mower from T&C shortly after moving to the area. Were city folks (or were back then) and T&C helped us to buy the right mower given our needs and budget at the time. Weve taken it to them for service over the years and its still running strong. Ditto for the walk behind tiller we bought at the same time. They do pick up and delivery for a reasonable fee too. This spring (2017) we bought a Mahindra Max 24 tractor from them. After a lot of research we settled on the Mahindra because its just so much more tractor for the money and, most importantly, because we have T&C nearby to service it and provide support as needed. The sales experience was very informative and low pressure. When the tractor was delivered, Mike spent about an hour with me going through some of the basics--Ive used a tractor before, but never owned one. He was a big help and reiterated what Id been told at the shop a week before: Give us a call if you have ANY questions ANY time; were happy to help.My only complaint with T&C is that sometimes communication isnt the best (i.e. having to call them the day after they said they would call about equipment being repaired, delivered, etc.). But this is a relatively small issue compared to the benefits they provide: Dan, Mike, and everyone there is knowledgable about the equipment they sell and service; theyre an honest business that charges fair prices and keeps the needs of the customer foremost; their shop crew has performed some cost-saving repairs for us--welding a hard to replace (and weld) part on our tiller that saved us $100s.We rely on the support of T&C to keep our little homestead humming along.
Last year I purchased a Kioti Ck3510 with Backhoe and Brush cutter. The choices were Kubota, Deere, or Kioti. The guys at T&C tractor were honest, helpful and not pushy. They came in with a sharp pencil, and sharpened it a bit more to get the deal done. I had a problem that the factory claimed was not warranty, and T&C put their reputation on the line and went to bat for me to ensure the repair was a warranty repair anyhow. They also gave me a BRAND NEW 0 hour loaner while my tractor was down. They have been extremely friendly, helpful and great to work with. If your looking for a tractor, or power equipment in Snohomish County, I highly would recommend givig them a shot at your business! Both Dan and Mike are great!
The only place I will go! Knowledge, service and quality are unparalleled!
These mechanics are scammers. They do not contact you at all. When you get upset that they do not call you back they hang up on you.
