Sunbacker has produced everything from complicated fiberglass molded instrument housings to large 3 meter buoys, under competitive contract, for me over the past 12 years. The parts I have received are well built, match the drawings, and continue to outperform their design specifications. Sunbackers customer service is top notch, in the very rare cases where there has been an issue; Al has gone out of his way to quickly resolve it. On multiple occasions Al has even provided me with design advice which has both reduced the manufacturing complexity and cost of my molded fiberglass designs. I highly recommend Sunbacker for all of your fiberglass needs.

Al L**** from Sunbacker Fiberglass Inc. was hired to build fiberglass travel trailer shells. He had possession of my molds (9 pieces) a rotisserie frame to rotate the molds, and he had my welding frame jig that he had delivered to another business (********** ****** ***** for purposes of that business to weld frames for the trailer shells Mr. L**** was constructing. Mr. L**** had my molds from 5-3-15 to 7-9-15 and in that time he was to produce a prototype trailer. He was to do any repairs and prepping of the molds for production purposes. In exchange for doing that work he wanted to keep the first prototype trailer as payment. On 6-20-15 Mr. L**** handed me an invoice for repairs, it stated he had repaired, buffed and polished the molds. These repairs were over the cost of the prototype. I have had the molds inspected by 2 independent fiberglass experts who have stated no work has been completed on the molds, they are in original condition. The molds have been waxed but that is something that must be completed prior to each use. The wax is what ensures the fiberglass releases from the molds. Mr. L**** would have had to wax the molds to produce the prototype he wishes to retain. Mr L**** refuses to change his invoice, he has retained my equipment (3 molds, a rotisserie and frame jig) he has retained the prototype trailer and is now also charging me 21% interest on a fraudulent invoice. Mr. L**** has not been cooperative in trying to resolve this issue. He has unlawfully retained possession of my things well before the 120 days stated on his invoice. Mr. L**** never served me with any notice of his intentions to seize my property, Mr. L**** attorney is also not responding to requests for mediation or resolution. Mr. L**** is dragging his feet in hopes he can sell or use my equipment to recuperate the costs of his fraudulent invoice. A complaint has also been filed with the State Attorney Generals office and he has yet to reply to them as well.Desired Settlement: I would like Mr. L**** to sit in a mediation with me to go over his charges. I would like the return of my equipment and I would like the return of my prototype trailer.

If it can be built out of Fiberglass, Al Lewis can do it. If it cant be built, it will just take him a little longer.
