Scheduling an appointment online the day before was very easy. Staff was very polite and professional. Was able to walk in drop my keys off, and get a call when it was done. This is a no non sense place of business. They performed the services just as requested, they DIDN’T try to push repairs off on me that did not need to be done, like a Belle Tire does. Will most definitely drive out of the way to get my tires at Joe Lake Tireman.

The employees went above and beyond my expectations. Luckily, they were able to plug my tire ($18) rather than needing to replace the tire ($111). This speaks of their honesty. On top of that, they put my spare away in the storage area in my van. This speaks of the great customer service. I will definitely use them again for all my tire and related automotive repairs.

I typically use the drive thru oil change facilities but my family swears by Joe Lake. I’m from the Chicago area and needed an oil change before heading home. I dropped my car off at 7:30 and they quoted that it’s be ready by 2pm, which it was. It was a quick check in and check out with great pricing. I’d definitely visit this place again if needed.

They were awesome, got a metal ovject in my tire in middle of work.day they squeezed me in and got it fixed asap. Firestone told em at least 3-4 hours, belle tire told me probably the next day. Guys were very polite and nice to work with

I have know the service manager Ron for over 20 years. He and his crew have always taken very good care of me. I can trust Ron with my car and repairs. They have some of best prices in town. Moved to Canton about 10 years ago, I still make the drive to Monroe for Joe Lake to take care of me. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Employees were friendly and accommodating. The work was done in a timely manner. Price was ok. My ONLY complaint was that I had to have my vehicle towed into the shop because the battery was dead. It was still under warranty, so I needed it taken out so I could take it to get the replacement. Im 64 years old and disabled. I couldnt get it out myself. They told me on the phone it wasnt a problem. Theyd take it out for me. Then they charged $40 to spend literally 5 minutes taking the battery out and another 5 to replace it! They DID give a $10 discount making it $30, but still. I spent $502.88 on tires, oil change and remove/replace battery. And thats the LAST penny Ill ever spend there! Labor to remove 4 tires and replace 4 tires was $86! So to ME $30 seems like an awful lot to charge a disabled old woman for ding what should have been a good deed. Or...do young people even know what that is??????

Went in for a flat and decided to see if they may have time for an alignment, and they did. Was told it needed lower ball joint, struts, and new front tires because of the ball joint damage. Everything was completed that day, really happy.Drove a week and had noises that I never had before. Dropped off on the following Friday for rerepair work. There was another issue with a ball joint and they took care of.Now before ever dropping off there was no noise up from. The last drop off did get rid of most of the noise. Been driving 3 weeks now and is really quiet as long as you are on a smooth road. Any bumps and you hear clunks, unfortunately. Some what discouraging, guess I’ll deal with, don’t need to spend more money for more noises. Will wait til I take it to my mechanic for something. Never any noises after his repairs.

I came in for a first call first serve alignment on my vehicle. The alignment tech Chad even came out of the shop to update me on the status of my vehicle while I waited patiently outside. I was wrapped up and out the door in an amazing amount of time. I cannot thank everyone enough at Joe Lake for the outstanding & professional service. 🤙

On Friday May 21 we hit a giant crater on 23 north. Our tire went flat. With donut on we limped to hotel. I called Joe Lake Tireman Saturday morning. They took tire in to fix or replace About an hour later they had fixed the tire and put it on car. Also put away donut for me. They were awesome snd very reasonable. Great place to deal with

I go to Joe lake because they care about the customer. I went to a quick oil change place and they charged me double plus than Joe lake did. I always get superior service there. And no I am not related.

I have been using Joe Lake for my tires for years as well as my family. However after this last time, I will be finding a new place. I asked them to check the rear brakes, they said it had slight grooving and about 3mm left on each side. What they quoted me was very high. I ordered the parts online and did it myself. I ran into problems though. When I went to take off my lugnuts it was next to impossible. I had go use a breaker bar with a 4ft pipe on the end to get enough leverage. As a result my lugnuts were destroyed. I had to go buy new ones. I can only imagine if I was on the side of the road with a flat I would have be SOL. I live in an area with a lot of phone dead zones so calling someone would not have been an option. This is why using an impact to put on lugnuts may be quicker but is actually harmful for a customer.

Was there a couple hours to get tires. Could not believe the ride when done. Thought I was in a different truck. Nice ride!

I have always had good service at Tireman, Usually the location in Toledo on Alexis rd. Recently I have been using the location in Monroe. I use them for an oil change and tire rotation. Over two hours for an oil change. Your competition does it in 20 min. After waiting two and a half hours, and still not being called, I was looking outside, when I saw my car had already been parked. Only then did the counter person call my name. I used to like Tireman, but I cannot waste two and a half hours a day for a oil change.

Making an online appointment was very convenient and the car was done in just under an hour in spite of them being very busy. Good price and I was able to wait outside. I’ve been taking my vehicles here for years and have had great experiences in general!

Another tire shop had overtightened and damaged the lug nuts on a previous tire rotation, and I wasnt able to get them off. Explained the situation and scheduled the appointment. They took care of it for less than expected and gave some input on brake work that I was planning to do myself. Will be taking my car there for new tires before the winter.

My experiences with BOTH Tire Man in Oregon, OH on Navarre Ave. AND Joe Lake in Monroe, MI were good. My car was limping into the Oregon (East Toledo) store and the associate behind the counter made sure I got right in for what, I thought, was a thrown wheel weight. He ~ Nick, Nicholas? ~ did a micro balance ( snow in the wheel well. I thought Id cleaned that out ) and suggested ~ not trying to upsell me ~ I get new front lower control arms/ball joints replaced. He quoted me $350 + shop fees out the door. They were busy. I needed to be in Monroe, so I declined. Fast forward to later that day. Joe Lake Tire Man set me up for the next day for the front lower control arm/ball joint assembly replacement. They quoted me, and I paid, $465. Other than the almost $100 difference, both places were good. Long standing businesses. I was just surprised the price difference was so much. I even called Nick in Toledo back to confirm his quote AND asked him how sure he was that it needed to be done. He replied, 100 percent. Customer service for both places was good.

I purchased tires at an Ohio Tireman a year ago. I called the Monroe location because I needed a tire rotation and oil change since I was traveling to Florida the next day. I spoke to Dallas who was super friendly and was able to get me in that day and took care of my service needs. Fast, friendly, and reliable. Great facility!

My wifes ac isnt blowing as cold as it used to. We assumed it needed a freon recharge. They wouldnt let her make an appointment, so she went there early and waited for them to open. She was the first person there. She was there for 4 hours. Other ppl who got there after her had there cars worked on quicker. They looked at her car said the freon was full and charged us 50 bucks.

Service was quicker and faster than I anticipated! They gave me an estimate time of 2 hrs and the service on my truck was done before time limit was up! The only problem I had was they forgot to put on valve stem caps on the 2 tires that were mounted and dismounted + balance!! When I get a chance I’ll probably go back and get the valve covers!!

The service that I received was exponentially greater than expected. My purchase was guided in the correct direction with the help of the knowledgeable staff. They were clean, fast and fair. No bs list of things wrong that I didnt go in there for. I went in for just the rims and tires and got just that. Anywhere else will try to get more money from you. Other Red themed tire places will strip your lugs and then make you purchase new ones just to make a buck because its your fault that the technician who specializes in tires couldnt remove the lug nuts like a man and now your out another $50. But not at Joe Lake my friend. At Joe Lake youre family. Not like an immediate family member, but more like an in law. Not blood related but treats you well enough for you to be at the next family holiday, or be a repeat customer. Ill be back.

I went to Belle Tire, Discount Tire, and a few other places... they wouldn’t mount my tire to my wheel! I got a special tire which needs to be stretched on to the wheel because it’s kinda small. When I was at discount tire, this one guys suggested me to go to this one shop in Monroe next to Wild Bills. He told me they put any tire on any wheel. So we looked up Wild Bills in Monroe and found Tireman. We have them a call, told them my wheel specs, and they accepted. Out of all the places, they were the only ones to do it. I live all the way out in the Plymouth/Northville area, so it was a bit of a drive. It was well worth the drive. Sadly, it did take 2 1/2 hours to get it done. I didn’t make an appointment or anything, so that’s probably why. They first estimated for the wheel to be done before closing, but it ended up being hours done early. It was $40 for the tire to be mounted. Honestly, it’s a fair price for the quality of work they do there. I know I will be coming back there for sure. Even though it was a 30-40 minute drive for me, I will be going back there again.

Went to get a oil change a couple months ago. I have an older town and country so the dip stick broke off. They told me about and and said when it came in they would fix it no problem. I can broke down didnt go back for a bit forgot all about it. Went to get an oil change yesterday and explain the situation. The guy come out handed me my paperwork and said your good to go, we covered your oil change this time!!!! They are awesome definitely gonna be my go to for car maintenance!!!!

So I was lied to . I called ahead with all my tire information and confirmed They had my specific tire. I was told yes we have that exact tire . So going fast as I can over there before my tire went flat I dropped my truck off. Four hours later I was called and said they don’t have my tire sorry. After wasting half my day and inconveniencing people to come pick me up so I didn’t have to sit there forever I was very upset . Safe to say I will never go there again or have anything positive to say.There would be no star if I could mark none

I did have to go back a second day to get alignment fixed. And they made it right. I have gone to Joe Lake for years, at least 20 and this is the ONLY time I have ever had to return bcuz it wasn’t fixed first time. I think that is a pretty good history. And they have always had good rates on tires I have bought. And many available time slots.
