Im not sure what happened to this company, but new management and new HR manager have driven the Hayward office to the ground. So many unhappy employees and it has sadly become a very toxic environment. If people arent being let go unfairly to later be replaced, they are leaving on their own as it has become a horrible place to work for. This is definitely the WORST place I have ever worked at.

Shocking to see so many great reviews about this company, but this is the WORST place I have ever worked. The Hayward location is a joke. No communication between departments, no structure, and the managers are horrible including the head of HR. If you get called by this place RUN and dont look back.

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work here, until I took over a family business outside this industry. RF MacDonald is an exceptional place to work and grow as an individual. Everyone within the company especially, the owners Jim,Mike and GM in Modesto Andy, were wonderful to work with. Id highly recommend working here to anyone looking for a company that you can plan long term goals with and want to retire from.

Working with the team from RF MacDonald was very smooth. First contact was with Doug Vickery to come out and evaluate site and review needs for boiler system. Purchase was made with his recommendation, then the install team was efficient and professional. Work was done to required specifications and RF MacDonalds team interacted very well with the other contractors on site to get the job done on time, to prevent any start up delays.

Our company has been working with RF MacDonalds for over 20 years and I have personally been associated with them for the last 15 years. I can honestly say I have not worked with a more professional group of people. Their front office personnel are always there to help me get answers to questions when I cant find the answer anywhere else, the Boilermakers are truly top notch and they always provide outstanding work when called upon to work on my boilers. The service department personnel are great and when I need assistance or service on my boilers they come out and not only fix the issue but are willing to explain what, why and how to safely operate the boilers with my young team of operators. When I need parts, Mac in the parts department is the man to go to and when I need help with my pumps, Will in the pump repair shop has always gone above and beyond to help me when I ask. Any company looking for a company to Service, Repair their Steam generation equipment and systems will not go wrong by contacting RF MacDonald and their staff.
