My husband and I have searched for furniture and we were never pleased with the prices nor selection, and other sale reps were too persistent. We stumbled into Florence. I absolutely love them! We didnt feel pressured. Florence gave us all the information I asked and more. The prices were fair. The delivery was delayed, however, that is to be expected during a pandemic. The around in other furniture stores was longer than 6 months! They did call to give me updates on my delayed living room, but phone are ringing but i noticed even when they are short staffed they were kind. I ended buy bedroom set on my first purchase. I later returned to buy living room set and dinning table, LOL. My mother in law loved my dining room she bought a few things from them.Im currently seeking a new coffee table. I recommend this place.

Started off good. Sales rep was extremely helpful and kind. Bought a recliner then went back and bought a sectional couch. Was told it would be here by 2/15/21. The sale manager called and said they will be here by the end of the month. Wasn’t a big deal for us. Then a week later we called to confirm the date and said now they won’t be in till the end of April. And that still wasn’t a for sure date. She said, she will find out and call us back. No call back for two weeks. Called them a few times and they didn’t answer. Guess they knew it was us calling from the caller ID. Went down there and she had attitude with us. We wanted to talk to our sale rep, but was informed he didn’t work there anymore. Talked to the owner, Carlos, and he said they could get us another set. Long story short they ended charging us 20% “restocking fee”. Even know the couches haven’t been shipped or anything. So I would advise keep away from this place. Wish I would of looked at other reviews before I spent any money here.

What a life savour Maria was after my father’s surgery and the chair we ordered ended up being back ordered. They gave me the floor model at a huge discount and delivered!!! Maria knows her stuff she was polite and knowledgeable! THANK YOU!

Its been over a month ive ordered a bed and it still cant be delivered 🤦🏽‍♀️ Dont waste your time here! If i could give zero stars i would this place sucks 👎🏽

Started out great aaaaaaand then the worst experience EVER! Sales rep was nice and attentive/talkative when we were looking to buy a new sectional. Showed us several different options and then we decided on one. They told us we can custom order our fabric color/finish and everything. Was advised it would take 2-3 weeks to come in. So after not getting a phone call halfway into the 4th week, I started to call them and ask for an update. Three days in a row, I was told they would look into it and call me back. So the fourth day I went in to the store in person. One of the reps told me that someone should have called me back and he didnt know when it was coming in, so he supposedly called the warehouse/manufacturer right then and there in front of me, hangs up the phone and says it will be in Wednesday, this was a Friday by the way. So here comes next week, Wednesday, no call. I call Thursday afternoon and then they tell me its still being worked on and will be in at the end of the month, another 2 weeks later. So here we are at the end of the month, go in store again to find out whats going on and then they proceed to tell me two different stories, the manufacturer went out of business and then they ran out of the material we requested/ordered. They then tried to offer us other couches they had on the floor in store, nothing was even close to what we wanted so we got our money/deposit back, which EVEN then, required haggling them some more for it.

I was really looking to buy a new bed and after visiting another store in Modesto I was really impressed by the customer service I received by Rick and Eduardo at FLorence Furniture. I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family. I did not end up buying a bed due to I have other financial things that are more pressing. But if youre looking for a family friendly place that will treat you like royalty, please try Florence Furniture.

We didnt get what we ordered but didnt want to deal with all that so we ended up just keeping what we got and my daughter has been using the bed for 2 1/2 years now. Its still in good shape.

If I could give no stars at all I would! Horrible horrible customer service!! Went in today, and theres was a guy at the entrance that didnt greet us at all, not even a smile! I was ready to spend my money because I actually liked something from there. But we walked all over the store and no one ever asked if we needed assistance. I went to another place and got what I wanted and happily satisfied with their customer service.

Purchased couches, decided they weren’t comfortable within the same week. No returns or exchanges when I just wanted to exchanged them for something more fluffy. I should have asked, but they should have told me too. They didn’t even go over the back of the receipt where it talks about returns and exchanges and I never even signed it and they still won’t exchange. Had them delivered on Monday July 6th. Lesson learned, don’t go here. Manager says other furniture places in Modesto are no good and “janky”..no. This one is no good.

Poor customer service. Placed a order for a Couch in Nov., and didnt receive it untill March. After looking at this couch we realized it was the floor model. We confronted the sales man Eduardo, and he said it was new. We let him know the cushions are worn and we knew it was the floor model. He said he would send the manufacture rep.to look at the couch. The sales rep. came to our house, and looked at the cushions. He said they were worn, and would reorder new ones. He said this not new, and was the floor model. I went back to the store,and Edwardo said the new cushions had been ordered. I said what compensation would we get since the couch was the floor model. He said he would have to talk to the manufacture rep, since it was a new Couch and the rep should not have told us it was a floor model. Eduardo said he would talk to the store owner about him saying it was the floor model. A week later Edwardo let me know the new cushions have been ordered and we would not be charged. It is now almost 3 months and Eduardo said the cushions have been received, come in and pick them up. We went to the store to pick the cushions up, and Eduardo was not in. The sales lady said she would call Eduardo. He told her that he would replace the cushions not the covers, since the material our couch is made out of is no longer made. The sales lady said to come in and talk to Eduardo, since she didnt have any thing to do with this. My wife said that would not be acceptable, and she would come in to see if there was anything to exchange or get a $900.00 refund. It has been way to long to get this issue resolved. We have been very patient with Eduardo, but it is time for him to take care of his customers.

Zero star for this place, first of all this place is hot as hell no air conditioner at all. Second, I was greeted at the beginning by a very nice young lady she explained everything to us. My wife and I were interested in a nice sectional trying to make a decision to which we should take but from nowhere a lady stared talking to us about the product we didnt ask her anything at all, she was very rude ignoring the other sales person a big no no, come on we have someone already helping us, it seems that bussines was slow for them and she was desperate to sell, seriously was awkward, we were ready to buy because our old sectional is in bad conditions we needed it ASAP we left and purchase in other store.

I wish I could give them 5 stars. Im very happy with the quality of the items that I purchased after I returned the first order due to poor quality, however their customer service is horrible. They never return calls when they say theyll call you back and their delivery schedule is uncordinated, they kept changing my delivery date as if I did not have anything else to do but to sit at home to wait for them.

Sooo... let’s start with saying I wish there was a -5 star option. I ordered a bedroom set out of one of their catalogs on Mother’s Day last month. I received the set the following weekend on Saturday (great start right) well one of the nightstands was defective, I pointed it out to the delivery guys. (Was obviously a manufacturing defect) so they took it back. Spoke to Shamira (believe that’s how it’s spelt she is who we ordered it with) and she said they would order a new one. No biggy. Well a week later on Saturday I call to check on it. I’m told they have it and I can pick it up Monday at a different store. So Monday I go to get it and the woman ends up bringing out a nightstand that isn’t mine. Then another that isn’t mine. To end up telling me (after I start getting frustrated) they never ordered me a new one. So I callllll Shamira again. She says she will take care of it she’s so sorry and that Juan her boss will call me back with some way to Compensate us. To get me some money back (spent almost 3grand) or give me a major deal on future purchases. After I explained at this point I’m not sure there will be future purchases. We got off and I never got a call. Friday I call to see if it had been ordered and when I could expect it. Juan was short with me and said Tuesday or Wednesday the following week. When I asked if he was planning on doing anything about this unprofessionalism he flat out said no and they’ll call me when they are going to deliver my nightstand. (Since I wasn’t about to try and pick it up again) Then today. Finally I get my nightstand. While I’m in the middle of showering, banging on my door, no phone call to even see if I’d be home or let me know.. and my 3 year old got to the door before I jumped out after my 9 year old telling me 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ When I called Juan and asked whyyyy I didn’t receive a call (and yes obviously I yelled at him) he tried saying he would talk to the drivers.. after I explained (in front of them) it wasn’t their fault they go where he says to go. He just told me to have a nice day... most unprofessional people I’ve ever dealt with.
