I love looking around in Big Lots. So many great items and bargains!

Once I found an employee he was able to help me quickly and with a very nice personality. Checkout was fast and easy

Could have been a t star review. But, One employee told me you didnt sell an item that was was clearly marked with BIG LOTS logo. I believe better training is needed or update thier knowledge on products sold there

I went in for the bamboo cotton tipped ear swabs and left with snacks, sisal twine, toys, hair accessories, and face masks! They have great deals and always have new items coming in. Plus, their rewards program provides great benefits to its members; sign up is quick and easy.

Went to Big Lots in Modesto, California. We found shelfing paper and a note book. We stood inline along time to check out . The checker upfront finally made a request for another cashier. One of the items we purchased were wrong in their system which took longer to check out. The notebooks were .50 cents, in the system they were a dollar. The cashier had to call a manager. The store was clean with lots of products. Just be care to watch the prices when you check out.

Very helpful associates. Clean store. Not too crowded. Lots of items in this store compare to other Big Lots. Great sales!!! School supplies for my kids that I needed. Plus desk for my kids to do there school work at home during the Covid-19/stay at home for school.

Got a good deal on fence lights. This place is awesome and lots of parking.

Did not see any sales people while I was there. At the check stand a employee asked the cashier where the supervisor was because she hadnt seen her in a couple hours. When I paid for my purchase the cashier just gave me my change and did not count it back to me. I counted it in from of him and told him it should be counted back to customer. I paid with a $100 bill and my purchase was $43 and change. He said oh sorry.I go to Big Lots pretty often and this is the 1st time this has happen. Could be a training issue?

Even though they were pretty busy we were able to get help and ask questions about a potential purchase. The young lady who helped us in the furniture dept was really nice. Maybe Santa will bring this to our house this year 😁

I didnt know they had many selections and really good price on paper towels. Good deals, friendly workers, and really helpful.

The Modesto Big Lots on Sisk Rd. always seems to have a much wider assortment of holiday decorations and gift ideas than the Manteca location. As well as easier access and ample parking. Unfortunately that usually means I spend more. I was able to finish my holiday shopping though..Score!

Its a good place to go employees are nice they have somethings you cant find else I like shopping there there always busy I recommend this place. 😊

The store was messy and a lot of the items I was looking at didn’t have prices. Their cat section didn’t have any cat food. Employees were nice and checkout didn’t take very long.

If youre looking for furniture!? The store was pretty much empty! Except for the furniture! I remember when it was called MC frugals you cou always find treasures, in the beginning of big lots it was still fun. But now dont waste your time or money

I can give Big Lots a 5 star review because you get alot of bang for the buck. Every time I walk into that store I feel I get great savings on the items I purchase. Vitamins, makeup.household items.Pretty much everything .

Whether due to the pandemic or beginning of the month shoppers, this store had many empty shelves and by the looks of it, not many staff on duty. Most likely the stores are not getting the needed stock to sell due to the pandemic. Sad.

The staff was great. We ordered something we saw online and we went to the store and bought it.

Went in to find plastic storage containers. Found those. Got some yard decorations, some kitchen accessories and food.

Got good Christmas deals. The gift food section buy one get one free and picked up my free hand sanitizer for being a rewards members 💗

We like this Big Lots alot. The bathroom is always clean and OPEN. They have a variety of items you can shop for here. There is furniture, snack foods, candy, baking products, toys, games, toddler furniture, bedding, home supplies, cleaning products and much, much more. My family really likes the customer service here.

Steve & Louise were awesome. They helped us with everything despite only having 3 employees available on Memorial weekend. Ty for all you guys did. We are grateful. They were running on steam and needed their breaks. I wish I could of helped. Still with no break in such good spirits and working so hard.

Got fantastic assistance from the furniture crew - thank you for your efficiency! I cant remember the name of the young woman at the furniture desk who helped us, but she was great and she knew what she was doing.

I always find great deals here on just about all household items. I love both Big Lots here in Modesto. North side location has better furniture options, East side has more house hold storage containers and gadgets.

Helpful & friendly staff. Seasonal merchandise moves very quickly before season even ends! Always find something at a great price, but not always the same thing. Its an adventure & in Modestos heat, a/c is always a good thing.

I was looking for orange chewy pumpkins, its a candy. My boyfriend and I were looking for these candies. Today I went Big Lots in Modesto CA by the mall, and found the orange pumpkin candies. This made my boyfriend very happy. The store only had two containers so I bought both.Love my Big Lots

We love big lots. Everyone there is super nice and eager to help. There prices are always great and the quality just seems to be getting better and better. Our local big lots here in Modesto off of Pelandale is the best. The manager there is really friendly and takes care of us each time we are there. 100% to those guys..

My wife really likes Big Lots shes in it probably two or three times a month. I like to go in because they have great deals on coffee. And last year about a desk there

Every time I shop here when I get to the checkout I tell the cashier I need to wear blinders when I shop here. They have so many interesting items that I havent found anywhere else. Good thing I dont shop here every week I would be broke in no time. Lol

Worst big lots everI was at their front door at 9 p.m. right when they closed with a heater in my hand and a receipt. I need to exchange the heater because it stopped working at 8:50 PM. I got here as quick as I could. The cashier saw me and made eye contact and the fat b**** just walked to the back.

Big lots low prices, help me to stretch my budget. I am able to get more of the the things I need for my home.

Use to love this store but its not like it use to be cheap

Major improvements needed:Lady who rang me up couldn’t stop taking to employee, which would have been ok if she greeted me. Second their return policy has changed to 30days- which would be ok if they were a small store but they are a huge company. Most items are retail pricing so not much of savings- especially knick off brand toys. I do like Christmas items when they come in- cheap but cute.

Big Lots is a great discount retailer store. They have a huge selection of snacks, drinks and other things. The furniture department is massive and a lot of people take advantage of their cheap prices, yet good quality products.The one big thing I despise about this Big Lots is the store manager. He doesnt like to smile and is rude whenever I see him. Other than that,most of the other employees are nice.

Love this store.All the managers and employees are very friendly.The store is well kept and if you have any questions or cant find something everyone is kind enough to go out of there way to help. Dee and Donavan are doing a great job with the store and their employees.

Decent deals on a lot of items but watch the quantities because sometimes its more expensive than Save Mart. I also dislike when they put up a sign for a price and have 5 different products under it, then you get up to the front to pay for it and its three different prices.See the attached photo, there are four or five different things here and its only dr. Pepper Mountain Dew for $0.88 the other drinks almost twice that much.

Its a good place to pick up stuff for next christmas .the stuff isnt near the price it is before christmas .we got 2 air yard directions for about 5..00 ea an lights are less than that.

Patricia was great! She quickly found the item I was looking for, rang me up for the item, and then even helped me load it into my car. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes! They need to hire more employees like Patricia!

Big Lots has fantastic deals on many of our day-to-day needs. The personal needs such as shampoo lotions and such are a fraction of the cost that youd even find at Walmart. They have wonderful Sparkling Waters that we love so much as well as my favorite salt and sweet popcorn. Customer service is always always superb.

This is the first time in awhile that I have been to the one in Modesto. It is really nice it is twice the size of Mantecas I bought more than I planned on.
