Ive always found good deals at Pennys. I just bought 4 clothing items and a pair of earrings for $102. The clothing was plus size sweaters and pants. Im really happy with my purchases.

First time Ive been in there in 30 years since Sears has closed its the only place in the mall I recognized. Everybody was friendly and a quality of the clothes seems to be better than B4

We went there to shop for two young boys and everywhere we went in the store we ran into Bajet. She showed up the right time, always when we had a question. She was delightful and helpful.JCPennys has allot to offer!

Took my life there for a sale they have on their products. Nice to see a buy one get one 50% off sale. Both times weve been here and recent months Ive been very pleasant staff and the salon very knowledgeable and attended to all my life questions whats a good working knowledge of products. Rest in store seemed a bit so I could understand a lot of the clothes were not racked to do shoppers not putting clothes back. But nonetheless the staff did do their best as you can see them constantly working on it. They probably could use some more employees to keep up with the new influx of customers.

Find your favorite and good choices clothes, jewelry and shoes. And lots of stuff. Good for family shopping.Everything is at one place.

Very busy there today but checkout was not too bad. Loved the assortment of summer dresses and sandals....came home with 3 purchases.....

I was able to find the shampoo and conditioner in the liter size that I wanted at a discount price. Because I had bought sandals for my son that were too small on that same day with my card oh, I was able to bring the sandals back with no receipt. They were able to look up my receipt according to my card on the date I purchased the sandals an exchange the sandals for a bigger size from their system! What a great way to do business!

I usually like shopping at Jcpenny for my children. However, I ordered online for the first-time and had to return the item to find out that I dont get all my money back.( I had the receipt too) Also, the money that I am suppose to receive back hasnt even been funded into my account. All they could tell me is that there is nothing they can do about it and to take it up with my bank. I will not be ordering online again

They seem to only stock dress shirts for slim people. Not a great selection.

Has great clothes but I saw a lot of spiders in between the shirts and pants!!

Had better selection of tops and blouses then Macys, and wasnt a jumbled mess like the Macys.

Super clean store. Restrooms are very clean as well. They have clothes organized and customer service is awesome.

I visited the JC Penny at Vintage Faire Modesto. It was refreshing yo go to the mall and walk around and shop. I ordered items online and pick them up at the store. The sales person went over my items go make sure they were exactly as I ordered them. I appreciate his help. Also I needed to use the bathroom and the associates all instructed me where it was located. Oh what a relief...😆 !

16 minutes waiting for pick up my order in curbside. They should check and reduce those delivery timers. If a customer uses curbside is because is in a hurry.

I dont know if its because of the holidays, but some of the racks and shelves are empty. Plus people are not socially distancing. Prices were great, though!

Hard to shop with little choices. Selection on some items is limited compared to the past and you can see they are hanging on. I tried to get a couple of things, but the way things are set up - Everyone in one line is terrible. I can shop online and get free shipping to my house or even send it directly to the person in buying for, and save myself the hour wait. So I left empty handed and will go online. If you are a big and tall shopper (mens extended and plus sizes) - forget in-store shopping, its gone!

Went to jcp salon. Very friendly and fun. Didnt wait too long and the hair cut came out just the way I wanted. The girls here take directions pretty well. Unlike certain salons who couldnt careless about your input, or how you would like it.

Line was ridiculously long, only 1 cashier open on the whole bottom floor

JC Penney is a great store. Not sure why people dont shop here often but I love it. They should invest more into their shoe department because most of their athletic brand shoes are on the lower end but their athletic brand clothing isnt. Always the best deals on bath towels. Good selection of plus size clothing. I would pass on the jewelry.

This JCPENNEY was well organized and not very busy. Got in, picked up what I needed. Checked out the sale they were having and even used the app for an extra 15% off my purchase. It was around 6pm when I came in. Helpful staff and the facilities were clean as well. Will be back.

Its a mess in the ladies clothing department with ungodly sale racks that are so packed and disorganized you cant find anything. The floor in that area is knee deep in clothing thrown there by real classy Modesto women. And the store is doing what big stores do - already stocking Fall and Winter clothes. Too bad someone doesnt open a store that carrys bathing suits in summer and coats in winter. 😕

The store is a complete mess super long lines and only 2 registers open in the entire store dont waist your time here

Misleading sale signs overcharged cashier acted like I wasnt speaking to her

It is the time of year that I receive multiple daily emails from JC Penney. Three days ago I clicked through and bought 2 items for same day pick up. The website says orders are generally ready for pick up within 4 hours unless placed after 3PM, in which case they will be ready the next day. It has now 36 hours since I placed my same day pickup order and still no notification that my order is ready. Im giving them an extra star because the prices were good, but the service and false advertising deserves one star.

I enjoy getting my hair done at this salon. Carol is passionate about getting your color and style to look the way you want. She is also professional and easy to talk to. They have great hours for people who work full time as well!!

We come here for the portrait studio. We love the employees here! They are all super friendly and energetic. Rooms are clean with plenty of room for family members. A variety of props and special events keep things feeling fresh and new every time we come.

Not great merchandise. Same old Pennys. Need some new buyers in my opinion.

Every associate that has ever helped me has been excellent at their job. No matter what questions I have or help in finding a product, theyll take care of it. Ive really appreciated everything at JCP in the two stores I frequently shop at in Turlock, and at the Vintage Fair Mall in Modesto.

Nice clean store very nice too. Have a great photo studio, as well a watch repair shop.

I went Shopping for My Mom. I Enjoyed the experience.

Good deals for the season.

This is a nice store overall, but a few things bring the rating down. There seems to he fewer service stands than before, so the wait time is longer. The juniors section is smaller than it used to be, partly due to all the clearance racks in every department. I like a deal, but it takes a lot of floor space. Workers were friendly. I found some of what I went in for.

Good Place to Find things that some other stores dont have. A ONE-STOP-SHOP place.

As far as I am concerned no one can beat JCPenny. I have 3 girls. My oldest grew up a plus size child. It was a real challenge trying to find clothes for her. JCPenney was the only store that I could find that had plus sizes in the children’s section. Their variety of styles and sizes made them stand out as our preferred clothing store. We also buy our eye glasses from them. You can also find really great deals with their coupons.
