I had to spread my lessons over about 2 months due to my work schedule. Every single class I took the instructors was nice and helpful as heck. If you was doing wrong theyd let you know. On my open water test the owner gave me that part where hell swim to top really quick with you. Well, guess who totally forgot to exhale bubbles? Yes me but the instructor pulled me back down as soon as we started and pointed to my mouth. I then remembered. If he wasnt paying any attention to me, Id popped my lungs. This is the best school to certify at. All levels that you can possibly want to learn. I really suggest them. I have been certified for 9 years now.

I love this place. We recently moved to Mobile and I promised my son I would get him scuba lessons. Not only was GDC the best price I found but the quality of the classes is outstanding. As soon as we walked in the door Hugh was there to greet us and make us feel at home. I dont think theres a question about scuba diving or scuba gear Mike cant answer and Kyle has to be the best instructor in the world. He is always smiling and when your dealing with an 11 year old is not always easy. He always made sure my son was having fun and always made feel like my son was safe. For the check out dives the class gets to stay in their condo in Destin and they let me tag along, which I thought was really cool. I feel like they really went above and beyond and made the whole experience awesome. Now that my son is officially a scuba diver were checking into getting him his own gear. I couldnt find any better prices online, if you take into account the service that comes with it. Plus, you can try a product in their pool before you buy it. Plus, they have a lay a way program, and a rent to own program, and a pace credit program. I would recommend them to anyone and we will definitely be going back for more classes and gear.

Excellent training, to say the least. If you want a crash course certification, GCD is not the place. Bob, Mike, Kyle and Hugh are excellent instructors and take scuba training very serious. We not only received our certification, we received a thorough course training, for diving in our area. Thank you GCD, youve introduced us to an amazing adventure, while preparing us for the inherent risks.
