Store was packed but had most of what we wanted. cashiers these days seem kinda rare with self checkout and all but we had a guy, named Timothy who was really sweet and friendly. We Will be back

It was a great visit last time I went although they were very busy! The workers were very courteous and helpful and it was pretty much a one stop shop! They do need slightly better safety features for COVID-19. Overall its a place I dont mind shopping at the moment!

Self check out Associate, a male, was awful. Items would not scan and he took his slow time until an police officer asked another associate to assist. She was on her cell phone and said she will let them know...AWFUL Horrible...They just dont want to work

This is our favorite of the many little Neighborhood Walmarts in the area. Friendly employees often greet us here, as well as the Store Manager and Assistant Manager, both of whom are willing to take time to help out with customers just like the employees. The produce, meats, and bakery items are always fresh, and selection and inventory throughout the store is consistently very good. Also, gotta give a shout out to Miss Judith and all of the crew in the pharmacy, who consistently go above and beyond for us. Love this neighborhood market!

Normally great, did curbside pick up and was missing 4 items had to go back. They corrected it.

Nice associate but order was supposed to be ready by 12. Its now 25 mins later and we are still in the parking lot. She mentioned we could leave and come back but we live over an hr away so thats not an option. Instead we get to waste our day in your parking lot.

Walmart is a wonderful place to shop. Walmart appears to have everything one could ever want in taking care of daily household need. I just went when approaching staff or customer service representatives they have been helpful and knowledgeable. This particular neighborhood market or this particular Walmart as 1 that is frequented regularly by myself and my family. This is due to its proximity. Additionally Walmart is always On the cutting edge of price challenges and often have comparatives or better prices than other stores. This Walmart did not appear to be one that was overly abused by those that frequent it and the appearance and cleanliness was awesome.

Every time I have been in this neighborhood market, the employees have always been attentive and friendly. The store is consistently well stocked, clean and orderly, and the management staff are always available and helpful. Love you guys!!

Love this market. I was actually depressed when they closed the one in my former town. Great prices and variety, variety, variety.My only qualm is that it is really a feat trying to get help from staff...But it is a very laid back and calming shopping experience, until after 20 minutes of looking for canned tomatoes in the canned vegetable isle, only to find out that it was actually in the pasta isles..Im like are you serious??? Im going to grad 4/5 stars for the ridiculously placed diced tomatoes placement, and help or assistance not be readily available.Other than those micro annoyances this is a great place, with great prices, and variety, variety, variety....

I will never go back again if I could give it a 0 I would. You always have to check yourself out & then half of those dont work. You stand in line forever to get a few items & they are always out of things that I need.

The store need more cashiers to help customers, its always seemed like its a conflict in the store when there is no one to help with long lines in it. To cut down on fussing and arguing, employee more cashiers.

I bought a rewetting eyedrop but the cash back was all in $20 bills. I needed to break my $20 to one $10 and two $5s so I went to Customerservice she said they don’t give out change with an attitude. I was standing waiting till she open the registered and she give a lot of change to the customer in front of me so I asked her again she said no mom I don’t have change.So I went to the first cashier she called her on the phone not to give me a change. She said my supervisor told me not to give you a change ok fine so I return my item and that supervisor called the security what the heck! She’s a floor manager but she have a *hitty attitude towards the customer. I’m pulling my prescriptions somewhere else.

Not much to say about this standard Walmart except it can be somewhat annoying to check out since the lines can get very long and they don’t often have more than 2 check out lanes open. The self checkout is also always longer. Because of this, it’s not a great place to grocery shop when you only have one or two items to pick up. Wish they had an express lane for 10 or less items.

Store is convenent for me to shop. The management is friendly and is easy to find what you need when you need it. The store is always clean and smells fresh.

Shopping for the rest of week the store has no grocery bags. How about going to another wallmart and getting some.

We purchased gas on 28 May at this location. On 29 May we went to purchase 2 drinks and the lady in the cashier booth said you can’t buy those because you didn’t buy gas? What’s up with this? The drink machines are outside. This is not good customer service. We went to another store and made our purchase.

Cant go in here with out spending 500.00. Always find everything Im looking for. Very clean. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Love this place.

They had every thing that I needed except for ice, customer service us great, they also take count or how many people are in and out which you dont see very much these days, this shows that they care for your health and safety and dont mind following CDC guidelines.

The prices are there but the service is not. Only two checkouts with a person working at it.The self checkout was backed up and people seemed to be having issues. The lines were really backed up. Three employees just walked around trying to act like they were doing something while another helped people with the getting through the self checkout.I finally broke down and went through the self check out and it has issues with reading tags. The bags would not open, my back hurt and I was tired from working all day and the self check out just made it all worse.I will only go there when I really need something and do not have the time to go elsewhere. And when I do not need much of anything.But .... if that happens again. I will just leave it in the Isle and leave.It is ridiculous to run a store like that.

Not as hectic as the superstore on I-65. Id much rather go here. The produce is never good though.

Awful multiple times Ive had my life threatened... Ive seen serious violence and I was taping it and dude pulled a gun out on camera.Soon just go somewhere elseIts because of that area. Not safe.I live near too

This is my go-to grocery store. I do try to avoid the rush hours, as the lines can get long. However, they are one of the only WalMarts that I know that will open more lines to get e customers out. I, appreciate that. The stockers are always nice and will help you find what you’re looking for. Great customer service.

I have never had a less than stellar experience in this store. I have been coming here for about a year and a half and it’s always a wonderful experience. The store is so clean and organized. And the staff are beyond friendly. I had an issue with a return once and the GM made it right! She earned my loyalty!

Too crowded, not enough cashiers or open registers.

Just pure ridiculous that I go in at 1:30 in the afternoon and there is nobody at the deli. I asked two employees to get someone for the deli. Nope they said no one is there. Not even a team lead not even a manager could come cut me sum meat. Employees are very rude and didnt care at all.

I gave this location this rating because of their money center. The money center is either always closed or you’re told the system is down. It’s always an inconvenience. Also it’s very hard to get anyone to answer the phones at this location.

Theres a handicap parking but people Park in their way they are really not handicapped they all that should be a cop sitting in the parking lot give out tickets there are handicapped people

Management at Wal-Mart University Blvd. Mobile, AL need to instruct their cashiers on how to process gift cards. Ive had gift cards over this past year and tried to use on several occasions only to have the cashier not know what to do with it. Quite often Ive been told that I needed to have it activated when it already is. I can use it in other stores. Why arent they trained? I was at self checkout the other day and this incredibly rude monitor threw up her hands and said to basically deal with it myself. I was mad but ended up using my debit card. I shouldve reported the incident to the manager but I didnt. From here on out I will only be shopping at Publix and Greers.

Not a bad store, I just dont care for Walmart. Shopping here makes me love Publix a thousand times more!

Walmart always have what my family and I need.

This location is normally busy no matter the time or day of the week. The turnover of employees seems high, as I havent ran into the same employee more than twice (a few exceptions); but the employees are always friendly and helpful.

They always have the dog food that I need for my dogs.

Always a pleasant shipping experience. Clean, and never too crowded (aside from the inevitable holiday rushes). Well stocked, and while the diversity isnt as wide as a Super Wal-Mart, they typically have what Im looking for.

Great store. Love it because it is just a grocery style store not a Super store setup so its a lot cleaner, better stocked. Staff is always friendly too.

Love the Walmart Neighborhood Market. Its very helpful to be able to go shopping for food items and not have to go to the Super Walmarts.

Great neighborhood store. I like dropping in and getting out in little of no time. Sometimes self checkout gets a little busy but they usually have two lanes open with cashiers. Fruits and veggies are fresh. And store is very clean and organized.

Great little store has everything you need and I was able to find a movie I have been looking for as well. The staff are friendly and its located in what I believe is a great location with a gas station attached. The only thing they can work on is there deli I wanted chicken bites and they were very old and they wouldnt cook more. Fix that and this will truly be a five star store.

This is the very best Walmart Ive ever been to. All the employees are happy and smiling and helpful. Its not reminiscent of a typical Walmart store at all and that is a compliment.

Usually when I go to a Walmart all the employees are to busy to assist you must less have anything nice to say. But the Walmart Neighborhood Store on University was more than friendly . Not by just one employee, but by three. Really makes a person feel welcome and gives you hope knowing there is still good service in the world .

Today was the worst visit yet! I have always had problems with this store but it’s in such a convenient place that I still stop there for small purchases. I have been unable to find bread for over a week in any local stores. So I was thrilled to find some today! We have 3 teenagers of our own and 2 foster teenagers. 2 are disabled. I had read the sign that said to please limit how much bread you get. And I do understand about how people have hoarded it. So I thought 4 bread, 4 hotdog and hamburger buns for a family of 7 seems reasonable? But when I went to check out, the manager was very rude, got right in my face sarcastically saying ma’am you are not listening. The rules are you can have only one per person. I tried to explain my situation I even offered to give her the names and birthdate of the children! She was very rude and unprofessional! She told me the only way is to bring my children to buy their own bread! I told her 2 are disabled! She told me if I can’t follow the rules I needed to leave! I was so shaken and upset over it! Sometimes just because you may not understand someone’s situation does not give you the right to treat people so badly!

I came at 8:20, 10 minutes before closing to buy milk for my children, a police officer out side with 2 employees blocking me and people from get in in the most rude way, she said they close at 8 not 8.30 and I know its lie, the police officer said I dont care what time they close iam telling its close, I called walmart and there was no manager to speak with, obviously there is no good management there to keep things under control
