My daughter and I came in today and had an appointment for an eye exam. Paul, Sandra, and Dr Nguyen were amazing. Jason helped us pick out glasses and made everything quick and simple, he did an amazing job and we are super excited about our glasses and contacts. We were even able to get our glasses in a few hours! Amazing experience and an amazing staff! Definitely go here if you want an easy and great experience getting glasses.

I will never go to another eyeglass place ever again! I had THE BEST experience with Alexis,Dr. Paul, Dr. Nguyen, Oliver and Autumn! They were SO helpful and made my time and money spent well worth it! Alexis helped me big time by explaining everything to me and helping me pick out my frames and going over all my options and prices. She is super sweet and professional and was very patient with me. Oliver was really nice and professional too and I love that he gave me his sincere opinions on the frames I was about to buy. The doctors in the exam area were very good at what they do and explained everything to me so that I could understand it and told me exactly what I need to do. I love this place and I will be a long time customer from now on!

I had a wonderful experience yesterday with the entire staff. Alexis definitely a great manager in the front. She worked with me & I was able to get 2 pairs of glasses I love & benefit me. She even covered $50 of my transition lenses since I wasn’t looking to spend that much in a day. 🥲 It was very easy to find a pair of glasses I like from the variety they have. I’m on my way to pick them up now & I couldn’t be more excited

Today was my first visit at Eyeglass World. I had a wonderful experience from the time I walked through the door, until I walked out the door! Sarah and Paul were absolute gems and Dr. Nguyen was amazing! Then I finished my visit with Oliver, who was also wonderful! I would recommend this business to anyone who needs glasses or contacts!

Eyeglass world on airport is awesome.. I went in there earlier this week to get glasses, and Alexis the manager was so amazing. She went above and beyond to help everyone.. The one thing that took me by surprise was that one of the sale associate glasses that she had on was taped together and the customer made a smart comment about it.. Alexis finished up the sale and told the sale associate to go pick out a frame and she would buy her some new glasses. The associate stated that she didnt have the funds to do that and Alexis told her Im going to pay for it, so just get something you like. Alexis does not just take care of the customers, but she going above and beyond to take care of her team as well as her customers. Thats a manager that cares.. We need more people like u in this world.. Thank u so much for everything you are doing .. you are so amazing..

The whole staff is incredible friendly and helpful excellent with kids! Paul answered every question my daughter asked and she asks a lot of questions, he made the exam fun and knowledgeable and he did so in a timely manner! I highly recommend!!!

I went this afternoon to get a fresh prescription, and the help I received was great! I believe it was Sandra who helped me for most of my visit! She was very knowledgable and did a fantastic job managing what seemed to quite a busy afternoon! 10/10 Would recommend!

My other half had an appt at 9:15 A.M. and the doctor WASNT EVEN IN THE OFFICE. Ended up waiting on the doctor to even show up to the office! If you have appointments scheduled, YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO ALREADY BE THERE BEFORE YOUR PATIENT GETS THERE.

I am only giving one star because I cant give 0. I was so disappointed with this place. Me and my family have been going here for the last few years. I have NEVER had to pay any fees because my insurance normally covers everything but my taxes. Obviously the Dr they have now charges what ever he wants and at this point nobody can tell me what I was charged for other then a $10 bag with eye solution that they could have kept (I was not told had to pay for this). Then they highly recommended that I have the extended exam because I had pressure in my eyes but never told me what I have to do about it. I know it may NOT matter but yall just lost 5 patients..

My husband buys his glasses here. I have not bought mine here but they have fixed my own glasses (replaced nose pads that have fallen off) on two different occasions free of charge.

It was busy but I was pleasantly greeted when I came in the store. Even though I had to wait, I was assured someone who be with me as soon as possible. The gentleman who took my order was personable and professional. He patiently answered all my questions. I had been a LenCrafters customer for decades but decided to try another business with lower prices.

Dr. Nguyen and his team are absolutely awesome. They are always willing to assist in taking great care of your optometry needs. I have been using this location for a few years and highly recommend them to my family and friends. 5 star elite service hands down!

The people that work there are great, very helpful & polite.But I HATE the bait & switch. They say you get 2 pairs of glasses for 1 price. My price was MORE THAN DOUBLE the advertised price. Bifocals are A LOT extra! (Oh you need glasses to see 🤔, well, that will cost ya ) And with sunglasses they charge extra for tint. 🤨 Isn’t that the whole point of sunglasses!?! The tint should already be included in the price Because who buys sunglasses & wants the lenses clear! 😠To sum up great employees bring lots of cash

I have been going to Eyeglass World for my eye glasses since my first pair when I was 18. Every appointment and experience there has been quick and easy, but this latest appointment was by far the easiest and nicest one. Everyone was lovely and kind, and adhered to COVID19 standards for safety. I will continue to shop there for all other eye care needs. 10/10 would recommend.

Let me start by saying I Dreaded going to the eye doctor all my life, don’t know why, it’s just a thing. But let me say now that is no longer the case. I’ve been going to this location for quite a while, been through a few Drs. as they change frequently. My visit yesterday was Fantastic, the nurse Paul is very professional,energetic,knowledgeable, efficient and just flat out nice. My exam went quickly and it’s basically a breeze now to get your eyes checked. This was my first encounter with Dr. Nguyen and he was super nice and very efficient,professional and nice as well. I left with some important information about my vision that was necessary for me. I would highly recommend this location to anyone. The other staff was also very welcoming considering the COVID temperature checks and all. They’re accommodating and professional and make you feel at ease. I will still continue to go this location. If you do you’ll be glad you did. Getting your eye exam has never been easier.👍🏼👍🏼

We have used Eyeglass World for years for the whole family. A few months ago, they got a new doctor and everything has changed. My daughter had an appointment and waited 45 minutes with no one communicating and I finally decided that we would just leave. The doctor came out as we were leaving and I told him we were leaving and why. His response was ‘I’m doing the best I can.” Everyone has a bad day now and then but a simple “I’m sorry you’ve had to wait.” would’ve been better.

The staff was great, but the main eye doctor was rude, condescending, and lacked basic manners. I will not return.Update: I found out the doctor doesnt work directly for Eyeglass World, but Eyeglass World went out of their way to make things right. I will never use that doctor again, but I will use Eyeglass World.

I had a morning appointment today meet with a completely pleasant atmosphere with amazingly friendly service from everyone I encountered. I myself make the travel to Eyeglass World from Mississippi and would highly recommend.

Had an appt 12/30/20, filled out the form & DECLINED the Retinal procedure. Appt nearly complete, I was verbally asked the SAME questions I had answered on the form. Within 2 mins, I was told I NEEDED to have pics of my eyes taken! NEVER being told it was the EXACT SAME procedure I had already DECLINED, I said ok. Within mins, I was shown the images, ushered in a room to put in my trial lenses & then asked to step out. I was then handed a bag that had saline solution, a hydro kit & eye moisture drops in it. Normally I just get the COMPLIMENTARY box of solution for the trial lenses, but I thought this was a new thing so I accepted it & signed receipts. Within 20 mins...while ordering my lenses, I noticed not only did Dr. Nguyen CHARGE ME $25 for the procedure I had DECLINED on paper & verbally, but he CHARGED me $15 for things I didnt even ask for. While ordering my lenses, I discussed my dismay w/the charges w/Alexis. When I got up enough courage to request a refund, she decided to handle it & after a 10-15 min BACK & FORTH w/them, they eventually returned my $$, but through Alexis.They didnt even have the decency to come out & speak to me or apologize directly, they sent Alexis!Thinking it was over, she returns for the 3rd-4th time & asks for the ENTIRE bag back so I of course obliged, but this time when she returned, she was EMPTY-HANDED!They felt privileged enough to STEAL my money, but when confronted, they in RETALIATION sent me home W/OUT a care kit as payback!Once at home, I had to place my ONLY pair of lenses in plastic cups of water for storage and as of today, JAN 7th 2021, I have yet to get a call that my new, paid for lenses, are in. Since Jan 1st, bc of how I had to store them, the COMPLIMENTARY lenses were unfortunately ruined & I have no lenses to date.Upset by the treatment, I decided to call. The first time, I was placed on hold for 10 min so I hung up & waited a while before calling back and even then, I was immediately placed on hold for another 8 minutes. Dr. Nguyen & his staff REFUSED to take my call and after exclaiming Id come there, they quickly sent Alexis to the phone to do their dirty work.I guess they have Black staff there to handle their black clients bc clearly I was too beneath them for them to handle my concerns personally.I explained to her that after several yrs of being a client, I WONT BE RETURNING bc this treatment was just that horrible. Alexis apologized for my poor experience & again, was very nice...extremely pleasant to be exact & although she could have single handedly saved the day, after much thought, I dont think I can RESPECT any business that would BRAZENLY STEAL money by sneaking in charges w/out explanation.To give services W/OUT telling me its gonna cost me is THIEVERY and as kind as Alexis was, I could NEVER trust Dr. Nguyen w/my wallet, let alone my eyes!Their dismissiveness toward me after the fact, felt extremely prejudiced and they have yet to offer an apology for their actions.After they were BUSTED, they no longer cared about my eyes OR my business and it showed!!Alexis however, deserves an employee of the month plaque bc she was very kind HOWEVER, after thinking about this for a week, I will NEVER return to EYEGLASS WORLD on Airport! I may even contact BBB & Consumer Affairs bc if they did it to me, Im sure theyve done it to dozens, if not hundreds of other unsuspecting patients! I later learned the Drs are OFTEN contractors. Theyre private entities so one has really nothing to do with the other.IN CLOSING, Eyeglass World has a crooked optometrist operating out of their office & in my opinion, they talk fast & move even faster simply to rush ppl out the door after stealing their money in hopes it goes undetected!*In FULL transparency, this 1 star is in NO WAY a reflection of Alexiss customer service. She was indeed a pleasure to speak with and in my opinion, there should be MORE customer service reps/managers as professional as she was in EVERY business.Too bad THIEVES ruined my relationship with this business as a whole!

So I had to stop wearing my contacts and didnt have a back up pair of glasses. I had an eyeglass prescription from Americas Best. But they didnt have an on site lab. Came to eyeglass world with my script and they had my new glasses ready in less than 3 hours. I was also able to get a pretty pink tint in one pair and anti glare in the other pair and still paid less than $200. You guys are awesome!!

This was the worst place I was told you can get your glasses in one day so I sent my daughter down there when she got there they were rude and was told no it will take a week to get them because they were to busy I would nor recommend them to no one.

Oliver was a jewel. The other staff members were good as well. Don Nguyen NOT SO MUCH! His sarcasm and his cavalier demeanor was not needed and was very unprofessional. My 13 years old son was already insecure about wearing glasses and to have to deal with his nonchalant attitude was ridiculous. I won’t be back but again the other staff members were great.

I had great experiences at the eyeglass world in pensacola. So when my husband needed a new eye exam to improve his existing eye glasses our first choice was eyeglass world. We no longer reside in pensacola so we visited the mobile office. My husband had his eye exam done. The new glasses arrived months later due to covid. The perscription that was made for my husband was way off! My husband tried the glasses on and couldnt see a thing! The lady tried to convince us that he just had to get use to them. My husband told her there wasnt any getting use to them. So finally we got an appointment for the dr.to fix the issue. We went back for the 2and time to get my husbands glasses and this time the lens was chipped so we had to take the glasses back and wait on the new lenses to arrive. 2 weeks later they called said the new lenses were there so we went in and was then advised that we had to yet again wait longer because the lab didnt cut the lenses. So they had to send them back to the lab and we still havent recieved the glasses. Oh and we told them we wanted back the original lenses that came out of the frames due to them being expensive sunglasses lenses and they lost them. When we asked they just told me they didnt have them and didnt even apologize. We are now 4 months in no glasses! Will never visit this place again.

They price match contacts!!! I have gotten an eye exam from another eye doctor thinking I would have a better exam with an eye surgeon and I was far wrong--they couldnt get it right. They told me my astigmatism was going away...which I knew was too good to be true. So I went back to Eyeglass World who told me that was wrong and got me in better contacts on just one visit. Love this place!!

Had a positive visit all around. Doctor took the time to explain pros and cons of mutifocal contacts and find the best option for my needs. The staff was helpful and professional with my husbands questions regarding frames, lenses, etc. Will definitely use again.

This has been the absolute worst customer service. On 3/12/2016 I had an eye exam and chose a pair of glasses that were to be ready on 3/14/2016. When I arrived to pick them up, they were broken. No one had called to tell me that this happened. I was told that another pair would be ordered and would arrive for me to pick up on 3/17/2016. When I arrived on 3/17/2016, I was told that the wrong pair had been delivered. All of the employees seemed to be aware of this, but no one had called to let me know. I was told that the correct pair would be shipped and that I could pick them up on 3/22/2016 and that I would receive a call when they were ready. I never received a phone call. I called on 3/23/2016 to make sure that my glasses were ready before I when in for a third attempt to get them. I was told that they had not yet arrived. I encountered resistance when I asked for a refund, and at no point in the process did I receive more than a half hearted apology. I will not recommend this location to anyone. The one star is only because zero was not an option.

I had a wonderful experience last Saturday there. I needed new glasses asap, since I was going out of town Monday and on my part I shouldve thought of that sooner. I called Friday afternoon, scheduled an eye exam for Saturday at 9:00, and when I got there, one of the associates, heather, really helped me though the process. After my eye exam they gave me plenty of time to select my frames, so I didnt feel rushed to make a quick desicion, which has happened to me before at another place, and I ended up never wearing that pair. So after I had my frames picked out, Heather went over all of the options I had and explaining everything to me. So when I left she had told me it would take about 3 hours, which for me was still awesome, since I had two pairs. Once I got home, about 15 minutes later I got a call from heather, saying my glasses were ready. My glasses were ready in less than an hour! Also received a thank you note from heather the following Monday. Really excellent customer service. I will be going back for sure.

I still havent received my glasses. They told me friday that it would be Monday or Tuesday; now its Friday again- still no glasses, and now they say maybe Tuesday or Wednesday. Ugh!!!!

Ive been going to this same location since 2006. They have always given me exceptional service! Ive only had one slightly unperfect visit....but everyone has a bad day once in awhile and those staff members arent even there anymore. Their prices are the best around and I really feel like they give personal, individual service to meet each customers needs!

Made a one o’clock appointment. We were there at 12:30. Our appointment was skipped and walk-ins taken ahead of us. We weren’t seen until 2:45. I made it apparent that we had been skipped and waiting a very long time. It took the doctor saying something for the staff to rectify the mistake. No apologies were made. We will never come back to this place again.

I have used eyeglass world for years. The customer service we received on yesterday was horrible. Heather is not the sweetest at all. Horrible customer service and from what I gathered she doesnt work well under pressure. They were quite busy and she seemed to be rushing didnt want to take time and out and answer any questions. She gave me annoyed look and tone. I like the doctor so I may revisit again but I dont plan on purchasing from here simply because of the horrible customer service. I also called and asked pricing questions and she stated she didnt know, placed me on hold and after being on hold for more than 10 minutes I hung up. She doesnt seem to know her job at all. I have priced matched for years now suddenly my insurance doesnt allow me to price match. Im sure it doesnt matter but they just lost a customer. My biggest pet peeve is customer service. I can spend my hard earned dollars somewhere else,

The two-for-one deal is not worth it. I recommend going somewhere else for a good pair of glasses. The service is poor, and the added cost of the lenses on top of their deal makes them just as expensive as much better places. Also, the doctor associated with the center gave me a bad prescription--Ive never had the problem of needing to go somewhere else to get a second eye exam after Ive already paid for much-too-expensive glasses.

I would offer 10 stars if it were an option. All of these bad reviews has me so confused. Because there is no way I was at the same place all these people talking negative about. All I can do is share my experience.Husband needed glasses and or contacts for dot exam in order to drive service truck etc. Had Walmart appointment but they cancelled last minute. Started calling around for same day service on a Saturday and we found eyeglass world an hour away in mobile Alabama. Sat us up for the same afternoon at 3. We get caught on i10 in traffic jam so I called scared of what they would say but they were more than understanding and said just try to get here before 4.Well long story short...we arrived at 330 PM and the receptionist was so sweet and kind. I loved her to pieces. Im sorry I wish I would have gotten her name. She was awesome! So understanding and accommodating. Coffee bar, customer lounge all very neat and tidy. Off subject.......330 we arrived by 355 my husband was eye examined and taught how to wear contacts. So at 4 p... just 30 minutes later for a total of 119$ (includes eye exam and paper prescription for glasses, and his 30 day contacts people! His insurance was not valid yet so this is straight out of pocket!)Needless to say....eyeglass world you created a very happy customer yesterday. Keep up the good work. And dont pay attention to the haters out there. They must be jealous rivals or something cuz I saw nothing those reviews were claiming. Nothing!It was all very positive and enjoyable experience for us. I would call them the NASCAR of the eyeglass world. Lol..

Ive been going here since 2003 for eyeglasses and contacts and have always had courteous and quick service.

So elated with my customer service from Bria on yesterday, she was amazing!! However their machines were down and she informed me that the frames may be ready for pickup today. I simply called to check the status and I got Heather on the phone. She obviously is having a bad day. Heather was short and rude with me and said there was no reason for my frames to be sent to another location for completion and the part for their machine may be in tomorrow. She needs to be kept off of the phones. I highly doubt that I will refer anyone to her. Ive had a bittersweet experience in the past 24 hours.Thanks Bria and Tonya for being so pleasant.

Two pairs of lenses were purchased on 3/12/13 for two separate frames. One Ray Ban flexible frame with standard lenses and one Ray Ban Aviator frame with polarized sunglass lenses. On 4/15/13 I received a broken Aviator frame after the prescription was botched and the replacement attempt at the lab in Georgia resulted in damage to the right barrel. The flexible frames had the right prescription but the lenses were too large and they therefore would not fully close. After further inspection I found a chip on the top of the right lens and was told the lab could polish and remount the lenses. I declined this offer for fear of damage to these frames as well and was given a full refund. They can provide a cheap product with same day service, but beyond that they cannot cut and mount lenses for frames they do not carry because it is not already programmed into their CAD system. The sales associate admitted to me upon receipt of my refund that anything over -7 is beyond their ability. Food for thought!

The customer service was nice but thats about it. The day I went in their lab was shut down and I was rushed out. Id given the girl who helped me my glasses and she assured me as soon as the lab was opened back up, theyd get them ready and call me. I also had an exam for contacts and was given a trial pair. 2 weeks later I havent heard from them so I call. After being on hold 4 different times for over 15 minutes, Im told they show nothing on my chart for over a year. I was given a trial pair of contacts and am now told I have to come back in and see the dr again. This is not a very good run business although I will say they are super nice.

So my glasses broke like 2 days ago, so I could barely see, these guys at eyeglass world was amazing had a appointment at 1 pm my glasses was ready same day at 4 pm 👍👍 and I now have 2 pair of glasses, and at a real cheap price 👍👍👍 HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I like to go there its very nice place to go to and I recommend it for any one want a good deal and good quality of glasses.

Cant even hire a lab tech to make any glasses for anyone who desperately needs them. I do not suggest coming here.

Unprofessional Customer Service... I will not bring my daughter back here anymore. Dr Franklin isn’t as good as the other Doctors we seen on previous years. The lady at the front desk is always very friendly and professional!

Waited over two months for my pair of glasses because they lost them and had to reorder.

My appointment was scheduled for an hour ago now. The doctor hasn’t even arrived. This is ridiculous. Why did I schedule an appointment if the doctor wouldn’t be here?
