Awesome. Impressively honest. Turns out my protective screen had cracks, iPhone screen was OK… He installed a new cover glass (perfectly aligned, no bubbles), charged ten dollars, and I was out the door in five minutes!

I visited yesterday because my microphone i assumed was broken. No one could hear me talking. The kind man troubleshooted my phone and within 5 minutes, he called my number and i said hello and he heard me!!! Yay😬… He didn’t charge me one dime. Make sure you take a photo of your screen before they replaced the broken one!! We had our screen replaced and the black bar at the bottom is larger than the original from the manufacturer. When I brought back to them the response I got was thats just the way the replacements are made. That was the end of the discussion basically. I checked online and that statement is not true! There are certain that are made with the correct blank space but they cost more. Good luck if you do business here. You do it at your own risk. I love how in the response he said he told me it wasnt worth the money to the OEM replacement. He told us that AFTER he replaced the screen. Not before I had already paid for it. I didnt bring up the part about cracked screen beacsue it was cracked so I wasnt going to include it in the review but the touchscreen never worked right from the day they replaced it. Since it was cracked they wouldnt fix it. Fine. It is what it is. But to charge someone for a service and not provide and exact replacement is BS. Had I known there was a more expensive option I would have filed a warranty claim with carrier. The guy spoke broken English and then didnt provide there service he stated he would. So again, go there at your own risk!

I cracked my phone XR screen in July 2020 and took it to cell max for repair. They replaced my screen and it worked perfectly. In late Feb blue lines started showing up on my phone. Since they did a good job last time, I took it back to cell max to see if they could help me. They said it was the screen, so they put a new one on for me at regular price. Later that evening I noticed the screen would shake on occasion, I called the next day and they said bring it back in. The screen would only do it occasionally and usually at night when I am on it most. Then I noticed the touch screen was hot working properly. I had to use the right side button turn it on. Therefore I made it a point that day to go into the store and guess what, the screen would not shack no matter what app I used. LOL ! So they suggested I video it to show them what it was doing, although he was able to see the touch screen didn’t work all the time. He did a few maneuvers and it seemed to help. After a day or two I was able to use my husbands phone to video the shacking, and it was about 10 days later before I was in the area, so when I did get there, the man said; it was probably the screen, and would only charge me 1/2 price for a new screen. I was not willing to pay for another (OEM) screen or what ever it’s called. I told them I would not pay for another screen, and I would just go purchase a new phone. The man stopped me, made a call and told me he would put a new screen on my phone, and if that didn’t work then It was probably my phone.It works again like it should, THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE as it should be. Thank you !I have recommended this company to several others since last year and they are ALSO “happy customers.”

Great service, polite, knowledgeable, and HONEST!! My iPhone X mysteriously found its way into the washing machine and as many already know, they are NOT waterproof. It would not function, and I had my whole life on my phone, so I brought it to Cell Max. They took it completely apart and cleaned and dried it and let it continue to dry for 24hrs. They also provided a free loaner, due to my particular circumstances, which was so very much appreciated. Most places would, I believe, tell me that the screen and/or various parts needed to be replaced and would charge accordingly. However, they called the next morning and said that it was ready to go and fully functional. I stopped by to pick it up and return the loaner phone, that they had provided for free, and my phone looked and functioned as brand new. Only charged $25 for all that they did. I will use them exclusively for any future cell phone related repairs or needs. Hard to find a place that is that honest and courteous, much less very reasonable prices. Thanks guys! Ray

This is the only cell phone repair store I use anymore. I recently had to get my iPhone screen replaced and it was quick and the price was super fair. Every staff member I spoke with was friendly and knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help fix my issue.

Hey for anyone out there that is thinking you have to wait on the flea market to be open toget honest & reasonable priced cell phone repairWait no longer! Cell Max on Schillinger Rd will take care of you!! I was very happy with the cost& the service was good & I didn’t have to wait until the weekend to be fixed!!! Yeahhhh!!!!!When I walked in I was greeted by a young man named “Hemi” who was helping someone else& told me he’d be free in a few minutes.After he diagnosed my phone he told me the cost & how long it would take him to fix it.I left for a while & when I returned he asked if I was happy with it & he also showed me where my battery was almost gone & told me how much to replace it. He was polite & knowledgeable but not pushy!!

They refused to fix my iPhone 8 Plus speaker after they damaged it. They took my phone in for repair Thursday and give the phone back Saturday. And after I get it back. The ear speaker didn’t work. I went back up there and he said come back tomorrow. I went back the next day and he said he have to talk to his boss because his the only one does the repairs on 8 pluses. I was fine with that. He asked me to leave the number and he will call me the next day. He never called me the next day. And I called and he give me the same run around. What a waste of $150. I don’t recommend this guys to anyone.

Ripped me a new one I will not ever go back and I had been a repeat customer but they hustled me into paying another $60 when they’d already charged me $115.50 and didn’t let me know beforehand the cost of the proxy. Dealing with them is like being in a foreign country NOT pleasurable experience should have known better learned from my mistakeI do NOT recommend CeLL MAX to anyone !!!

Promise you anything deliver nothing. Gave them a tablet with a bad charging port on Thursday. Told I would get it back by Tuesday. Tuesday comes and all they have is excuses. Three weeks later still have not even got the parts. I will never gor back for anything.

Talk about low ethics. This guy took advantage of my old parents. They came in looking for a regular cell phone. A non-smart phone and the owner or his employee lied to them and gave them a smart phone which forced our phone bill to go up due to the new data line. And then he didnt have the decency to give my parents their money back. Instead, he was incredibly rude to me and my mother. Please learn some manner and how to handle customers instead of yelling at them. That is not how you do business. I would give this place negative stars if I could.
