Amazing customer service! The battery policies are fantastic and I received a discount off the price due to battery age. My alternator was also treated just to make sure. They went beyond what I expected. Maybe there are cheaper places but they wont be better.

I have been dealing with battery source on Schillinger rd in Mobile, Al for a while now, even as far as sending most of my customers there (as does most of my coworkers). Always have very good customer service and very friendly associates. Recently when i went in to get a battery for an older phone I was helped by a gentlmen named Dave or David (i think) The personability he showed was great, as if he knew me and helped me well and made me laugh. My customers have always come back from battery source with no problems and the batteries they needed with no complaint. As far as i can tell the whole store seems to be on their game... 5 stars and great staff.

So, Ive needed a battery for about a week. I kept putting it off. The battery I needed was $189 at Walmart. I usually just get it there and do it myself. But I decided to give Battery Source a shot.I dropped by to see what they could do. To my amazement, Battery Source was $10 cheaper! AND it has a 7 year warranty! TBH, I expected a stand alone store like this to be WAY over priced.I knew my car manufacturer recommends the AGM style battery so its a little bit more expensive than a standard lead acid. I was glad they agreed the AGM style is a better match and recommended. I played dumb just to see what they would say. It was a test and they passed! (Sorry guys, but you did good! 😉) Very honest IMO! Thanks for the excellent service!

I purchased a deep cycle marine battery. Then, after a month, the battery would no longer accept a charge. I then took the battery to a couple of local parts stores (because they were closer than the battery source store) to have it tested. The test results were the same at both locations, bad. I then took the battery back to battery source to swap it out. They refused to honor the warranty, said there was nothing wrong with the battery, and also insulted the local parts stores saying they dont know what theyre talking about . I have since tried to charge the battery with a few different chargers with the same results. It still will not take a charge. Needless to say, that was the first and last battery I will purchase from them. The employees were very unprofessional.

Went in the store to have a my wifes watch battery replaced. Met with Daniel, who appeared to be the guy in charge. Daniel proceeded to take the back off of my wifes watch, face down on the counter, when I asked him didnt he think he should put something under the face to proceed without scratching. He said it would be fine on the counter and advised me that Michael Kors was not an expensive watch that you can usually find them for $50-$60 dollars. I beg to differ that this particular watch was over $200, and was a Christmas gift to my wife. In conclusion, he took the back off the watch, and was not able to replace the battery due to some type of compromise to the battery. I felt insulted, along with being provided terrible customer service, and I will not be returning. The location of the store is Schillinger Road.
