Clearly whoever drives a van to their company doesn’t know how to drive and enjoys car accidents at a high rate of speed. So I am more than willing to give them driving lessons if they can teach me to sew

Hands down the best alteration shop around! They always do a great job with any project presented to them, and at a fair price. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my alterations, whether it is for a special event or just hemming my jeans. Thanks Sew605 and crew!

Catina did an awesome job altering my daughters First Communion dress! We also gave her the task of making something special out of pieces of my Mothers wedding dress to incorporate into my daughters special day. She made a beautiful handkerchief with her name and date on it.

My son took sewing lessons from Catina and enjoyed it very much and now has a love for sewing. Very informative and make sure he understood every step.

It shouldn’t take over a month to patch up a sweatshirt pocket. Also, there is no where on planet Earth where they could find the exact color to patch up the sweatshirt!? Plus, $20 just for a patch up!? It appears Sew 605 is getting desperate for money!! If someone is gonna take over a month to do just a simple patch-up and charge $20 for it, it better perfect!! The patch-up was okay at best, but I can tell you it wasn’t perfect. I’d recommend another sewing place instead of Sew 605.

My wedding was in June, I took my dress in to them in late March. Brought my shoes (flats) and tried on the dress. My dress had a section on the bottom front that was a tulle fabric with beads and flowers on it but it wasnt very open, asked her to open it up so we could see how beautiful it was. I have very little chest so she told me she would sew in some pads to help the dress stay up. The dress was several inches to long but she suggested that once we replace all the tulle underneath that it would poof out enough that it wouldnt be a problem. She wanted to replace the bustle so it would hold better (dress was very heavy and had a log train). I said okay and left her with my dress. She told me she would start working on it at the begging of May. A week into May I called and asked how it was coming. She hadnt started it yet told me shed start next week. I continued to call every week until she started working on it. The week before my wedding she finally started it. Went to pick it up two days before my wedding and NOTHING had changed when I tried it on. No pads, the dress was still to long, and the front wasnt opened up. She did redo the bustle. ( It didnt hold for even five minutes at the reception) I mentioned the pads and she said oh yeah let me do that real fast come back in an hour. I knew it was to late to hem it and I figured I could just safety pin the front open. So instead of wearing flats I wore my cowboy boots because I cant walk in heels. The dress was still way to long. She told me everything would cost around $30-40 when I went in the first time. It ended up being 60.So I ended up having to take my dress off shortly after the reception had ended because I kept stepping on it and couldnt even dance with it on. Im highly disappointed in how things are managed there. Nothing was done that we had talked about and I paid a ridiculous price for it. Over $10 dollars for her to sew in two foam pads because she forgot to do it in the two months she had the dress, and she didnt start until a week from the wedding which gave me no time to come and try on the dress to see if it would work.Highly disappointed and recommend that if you go through them that you write down what you want done and be absolutely clear that you will come in at least three weeks in advance from when you get the dress to when youre supposed to have it.
