First time ordering and I liked it. People who usually come here play on the stock market and real estate and make a lot of money. They spent their time drinking juices in this place to kill time. You will also see college students here. If you wanna learn about stock market and real estate then this place is the right place to learn.
I was a regular at kung fu tea Austin. Moved to Missouri city recently and decided to try this spot as the flavors were familiar. My ordering was smooth. No complaints like the other reviewers about service. The drink was also fine. The rating was mainly because the boba was definitely stale portion from previous day. Fresh boba is generally soft and chewy. This was hard which happens when you refrigerate it.Oh btw, looking at the harsh comments by the owner, I dont think I will ever visit them again. My tip for the owner is never lose your cool even when your customer is an a-hole, especially in a public forum which is read by so many others.
I am i huge fan Kung Foo Tea, this worker is really nice he put the ice in my drink and gave it to me saying “taro Slush” definitely recommend 10/10 IGN has alittle something in it for everyone
Good Teahouse mostly patronized by high schoolers from Sienna Plantation (Ridgepoint High School) and Riverstone (Elkins High School). Their top teas are Strawberry Lemon Green Tea with Mango Jelly and Passion fruit green tea. There is free WiFi and plenty of room to setup your laptop. Please like this review and follow me on Google for the best in HONEST and UNBIASED reviews.
My wife and I decided to try this place out and was greeted by a young man with an attitude. He seemed to be upset and was rushing us when we were placing our order. Horrible customer service! Now to respond to the young man’s (owner) response to my initial review ....do you hear yourself? Obviously you have no experience when it comes to good customer service because there are a a lot of other reviews on this page with upset customers over your attitude...the same employee. Your response just shows how rude you can be so maybe you should take a class on how to treat customers on a professional level if you want to keep your business going...but I guess you do not care because you seem to keep up with this rude behavior. I am a healthcare provider and I deal with life and death situations all the time but no matter how busy I am I treat my patients with respect and care....So please do not compare your boba tea making business to my experience. There are plenty of other places in town that do what you do but they are extremely professional and welcoming....I suggest you take notes. Obviously you have some anger management issues for sure. As far as your business goes I am never coming back and I am sure there are other customers on here who feel the same way so good luck. Keep running your mouth and I will make sure to go out of my way to get in touch with someone higher up in the franchise to report you and your behavior
I went into this location in Missouri City because I had a good experience with the location in Sugar Land. The young man who was working was rude. I just walked out because of his demeanor. I asked a question about a drink and he was kind of a jerk about it. I was fully masked and ready to pay with my phone app. Really unfortunate experience.
Ive been waiting to try this location for about a month or so now. I work night shift and I try to be in bed by noon so I specially made time to stay up and wait until noon for this dude to open up. This is like the third time Ive been here and I have not even been able to go inside. Its now almost 1:00 p.m. and hes still not open. Whoever in the comments here suggested I go to raylas tea House down the street, THANK YOU. raylas was nice had a good menu the drinks were fresh and the food was super hot and flavorful. even if this dude gets his stuff together and reopens I will not be back.
Awesome place, made our drinks exactly how we asked. Large variety of choices with great service. Will def return.
Extremely rude young man. I walked right out and didn’t even order anything because of how rude he was.
This was my first time at Kung Fu Tea and I must say I was disappointed. I decided to stop by to get a tea for the ride home. The facility is great, but not the drink. I got a Matcha Green Tea with tapioca. The drink itself was grainy and a little bitter. The tapioca, was way undercooked. I could not enjoy this beverage on the ride home. I was really looking forward to this sweet drink 😔👎🏼 maybe it was an off day but that shouldn’t be the case. Everything should be consistent. Will not be going back.
My favorite boba tee
Drinks were good. But the services was HORRIBLE, I most defiantly will not be back, the guy was not helpful, very short temperature.
We are regulars at Kung fu including some locations in Austin. The drinks are SO GOOD! However, the customer service has failed us at this location time and time again.Theres been time were we come in at 6:30pm only to find out theres no more tapioca. The closing time is 9pm!Theres been other times where the guy (the same guy as always) doesnt accept the reward online and claims that is only online only when 1.) The coupon doesnt specify 2.) I have gone to the University Blvd location the next day and they accept the so called online only coupon.I literally only come to this location because its closer to me but I have also left this location to JUST MAKE THE 25MIN DRIVE TO UNIVERSITY BLVD TO GET THE PERFECT TEA.Its literally come to the point where we come in and know to expect some issue now. It seems like I am not the only one.
Horrible customer service. I was there few minutes ago and I was little confused about the drink I was getting (thai milk tea or coffee milk tea)and the guy did not like when I changed my order (before he started making it)I could see his attitude while he was making the drink .so I talked to him very politely I am not a regular customer and sorry I had confusion about order . He just walked away . I asked him did u hear me, he raised his voice at me . I got very upset, I reminded him this is not the way he should be treating customers. Will not go back there.
Best bubble tea in Missouri City.
Very friendly customer service. My friends love this place and being a first time customer the staff answer all my questions Very fast service . Also very sanitary and clean place
They werent open at 2pm. I was so confused, tried calling and no answer because it said it was open online. Came back another day, they didnt have any popcorn chicken or food to give. Im really disappointed at the service 😣
BOBOA TEA. The Oolong Tea is my Favorite
This is a really great place! I love the vibe inside. It’s not my favorite tea place, but still totally deserves five stars I still loved it! I ordered mango bubble tea and it was all right, so I think I’ll try another flavor next time!
Called and ordered 2 milk teas ahead of time and then drove out of my way to pick them up only to find out that they’re now currently out of it. A return call would have been much appreciated. This kind of customer services is acceptable. I will probably never return to this location again. Seriously disappointed.
First impression: the place looks promising. Nice decor and clean. Got a welcomed greeting from the workers. They have two cup sizes. In my opinion the drinks are a bit over priced.I got the taro slush with tapioca and friend got milk tea with tapioca. They were a bit too sweet compared to other boba tea places. The consistency of the slush was very nice and thick.Ill have to give it another try.
Ive been to the Kung Fu Tea in NYC and its certainly the same prices and vibe, but of course theres much more seating space here. The seats are a little small, Im a normal size dude and they kinda dug into my hips when I sat all the way back.I came here to do some work/study on my laptop, its a pretty nice place to get some work done, but sometimes it gets a bit loud so bring your headphones. 🤗. I really like the staff, theyre really friendly. I think theyre the reason Im giving 5 stars instead of 3.I tried the new Rose milk tea flavor and thought it was horrendous, so I tossed it out after a couple sips. Im normally pretty lenient with flavors and am willing to finish off what I pay for, but man it was bad... but I like the Taro milk tea and I really want to try the Thai Milk tea, but they didnt have any last weekend. :(It would be awesome if yall had specials like 2 large with bubbles (tapioca balls) for $9 or something for more incentive of buying for a couple people instead of just one. Or a combo with the food or something would be cool too.Overall, I prefer it over the more crowded places in Sugarland. Ill be returning on weekends when I have free time to do some work or study. I really like bubble tea, thanks! 😊
Come here very often. I always get a drink that I can get the milk cap on. Love the salty/sweet combo. Honey black tea cap with aloe jelly is my go to drink when I cant decide.
Rude male worker. Will not be returning.. save your time and go to Rayly tea house down the street. They are super sweet and are actually happy to serve you!
I was always a fan of Kung Fu Tea (university blvd) location. Unfortunately, that is not the case for this specific location. The customer service we received today was subpar. We went around 7:30 pm and the gentleman was extremely rude to me and my friends. He was getting extremely irritated at us because of the questions we were asking about the drinks. He was giving my very pregnant friend harsh answers back. Not sure if he was having a rough day but please don’t take it out on your customers. I took off 2 stars for the lack of respect we received at this establishment. The drinks were good though (matcha milk tea, pina colada). Will be returning but to only the University location.
My wife and young kids experienced incredibly rude service at this location for a simple request. The service was bad enough that they decided to walk away and go somewhere else. This happened, ironically, during Mother’s Day weekend!!! #EPICFAILTo the owner of this Kung Fu Tea: I hope you will train your team members to provide better service in the future, as looking at your reviews for this location, this type of poor customer service has occurred multiple times before.Your customer’s experiences, both good and bad (and online ratings based upon such experiences) will continue to dramatically affect your bottom line.
One of my fav franchise bubble tea places thats in the area.
Very hygienic, made good eye contact and listened to request carefully. We will pick this as our favorite tea place!
I am doubtful about the 5 star review. We have been to this tea house few times, their Mung and Red Wow milk tea are good if you are not worried about calories and sugar. Bad thing about this store is that they do not take credit card if it is less than $10, that they might go to the extent of even telling that their credit card scanner is broken (multiple times). The drinks are on the slightly expensive side. It may be noisy at times with lots of teens (likely wasting parents money).
Nice and refreshing drinks on a hot day! Friendly staff and quick service.
Great choices, good drinks, excellent service. What else could you ask for? Also, the mini tapioca/boba is so good! Ive never seen those anywhere before, but they have a lot to choose from, and I have no doubt that its all great.
Great boba (best in Houston)! Tastes the same as the one in China Town but its location is more convenient for my family. Customer service is great too!
Your customer service is horrible. Very horrible.
One of my favorite places. Try the ginger milk strike, its awsome( if you like ginger)
Great place for good Boba tea! Wish they would be a tad bit faster, but overall I love this place and the variety they have.
Awesome place for bubble tea! One of my favorite stores to bubble tea from.
I absolutely love this place! Some of the best tea are wintermelon milk tea and taro milk tea! Have to try these!
Great atmosphere, wanted boba didn’t have to drive all way bellaire !
Let me start off by saying that I have had no issues with the quality of the drinks here. However, I have taken away 4 stars due to horrible service I have experienced. On the soft opening day a couple of years ago, there was a deal of a free medium sized drink excluding toppings. After I walked in with my mother, seeing about 40 people with drinks, including some of my friends who had gotten free drinks, the owner had charged me normal price. Sure, you can call me cheap for being annoyed at this, but a business shouldnt be exclusive about who gets the deals and who doesnt.Which brings me to this -- the KFT app often has deals such as free drinks on national boba day or whatever. A few months ago, a deal popped up and it was for a free medium sized drink. I walked in with one of my other friends and requested boba and an upsize and that we would pay the difference. After both me and my friend were rejected(lied to), and because the store infamously does not allow outside food, we sat in my friends car in front of the store. About 30 minutes later, the store started getting busy and we saw a bunch of our friends from school with both boba and a large cup. They told us that the cashier had charged them about $1.40 due to the discount of the app for boba day. Why would they blatantly lie to me and my friend saying that they did NOT have boba and that they couldnt do it for us anyways?Lastly, I will bring up my previous statement that this place does NOT allow outside food. Once, 4 friends and I decided to get tea an hour before closing. The store was empty except for us. One of my friends had brought a single whataburger inside and was about to order a drink but they had kicked us all out before he could order! I dont understand the purpose of this strict policy when other tea places nearby do not mind as long as you buy a drink.Nearby places such as MTea and Teahouse are much better than Kung Fu Tea HWY 6 with their great friendly service. I also commend KFT Sugarland (University) for their great service as well. Will not be supporting this horrible, lying establishment.
Solid tea taste but needs a little work on the boba texture.
•Matcha Milk Cap with Coffee Popping Boba: 5 out of 5. Good amount of matcha flavor.•Almond Milk Tea with Boba: Almond milk tea was 3 out of 5 because tasted like very diluted or very light flavor and very creamy, not much tea flavor. Maybe some people like that? Boba were 5 out of 5: perfect chewy consistency and super sweet honey flavor.•Mango slush with mango popping Boba: 4 out of 5 pretty good, what Id expect, but nothing amazing, but Im not sure if Id ever give 5 for this type of drink at any store just because theres nothing too special about it.•Rewards app: a little confusing for us as first time users but should hopefully get better with time. Not a very rewarding rewards program because you need 17 drinks to get a free one (Assuming average price of a drink $5).
Love that there’s a kung fu tea in sugar land now
10/10 love this place its so good
Always an addictive blend to be had. Oolong milk tea....
This place has really sweet tapioca balls. Definitely recommend!
Love the kung Fu honey tea. Free WiFi. They dont have much to eat though.
Lemonade green tea was so refreshing and tasted very good, mango slush with boba was also a thumbs up.
I just bought a drink from there and when I asked to the ladies to walk one sec so I can decide my drink she said one Mississippi who the hell says that! Also their promotion for buy one get one free was only for 4 types of drinks instead of all the drinks so that sucked. The food wasnt even that good and cost a lot.
This location is very reliable, and the drinks are great! I absolutely love the taro and almond milk tea, and not to mention, the chicken is amazing!
Mocha is the best
The customer service was so poor and the girls were so rude to me. They act like it was an inconvenience to serve people, so unprofession. The drinks also tasted ok, not worth the money.
Matcha Tea is pretty good. I like half tapioca.
Clean with many flavors
Wide selection of tea
I love this place. I just wish they opened an hour earlier.
Bubble milk tea tastes good to me.
They have macarons in multiple flavors.
Needed a place like this here! Chill and good food and drinks!
The drinks are far most approved of any boba shops in the Houston greater area, however the customer service is a bit lacking.
Best honey green tea ever!!
The drinks and snacks are very good.
My girl love this place so much
One of my favorite tea houses.
Love the mini boba!
The taro slush is a must-try.

Best tea house ever...
