Off putting experience. Went in looking for a kayak paddle clip. Didn’t have one. I stated it was interesting that they wouldn’t have one. He said “ what’s so interesting about it ?” Really? You’re a boat/kayak/ water sports store and you don’t have one? Interesting. And rude.

Trail Head River sports is amazing!! Theses guys really helped me and my buddy out. We took a fishing trip out to Missoula with our drift raft, and on the 2nd day of the trip we were loading the raft onto our trailer and the boat caught the currant and swing into the side of the trailer and put a hole about 2 inches long into the side of the drift raft. We thought the trip was done for, but no! Trail Head River Sports help us out and got our raft in immediately! These guys fixed that bad boy up and we were back in the water the next day! We have no complaints about the patch and it held air like it was brand new! Thanks Jay! And if your Looking for good rafts they have a pretty good inventory of NRS stuff too. Excellent selection of rafting, and fishing gear. Lots of nice stuff from Downriver too. Probably the largest in-sock selection of gear in MT.Great store overall.

Many dealing with many different employees and all were fantastic. Happy to drop $1000s at such a great local shop for my new 12ft raft setup. Be sure to order your Alpacka through them as well--one of only a few dealers in the country. Cant recommend enough.

Very good river store for boating, prices are fair and actually msrp, can rent boats and gear here, prices for rentals are pretty good and they are good quality.

Went in today to buy a new raft for Christmas till some jackass employee tried to play Dad about my mask that I had on. You try and support local but sometimes, some local doesnt deserve support. Dont worry i wont be back. Good luck in the covid survival, you need it!

I love this store! The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable, they have a great selection of boats and accessories, and it has a much more local/ community feel than the other sporting goods stores in town. I wont be doing any of my boat shopping anywhere else!

Is and always has been a top notch group of retail outlets, with simply the best product and customer service possible.

Received great help with questions about accessories we ended up purchasing, but didnt have anyone on the other side of the store approach us despite our spending quite a bit of time looking through the various rafts and kayaks which we were looking to buy...so we didnt purchase either of those from this store. Maybe we didnt look the part? Plenty walked by but never spoke to us or were busy putting up displays.

They were super helpful even though we ended up not buying or renting from them.

The staff was helpful and knowledgeable about their products. I asked a few questions that they didnt have answers for and they immediately took me over to a computer and we pulled up the manufacturers web page.
