What a strange grocery store. Initially, it comes off as just a normal neighborhood market with all the products you wood see in an ordinary grocery store, but when you actually look around you realize that they have some super high quality food and drinks here. I couldnt believe their wine and beer selections. I bought some great Trappist Monastery beers here and even a Vietti wine. You dont see products like that in a normal grocery store. Moreover, we bought some of their fresh shrimp while we were there and I am still completely confused as to how a grocery store in Montana, a land-locked state, could have fresher seafood than the stores I went to on the west coast. Amazing grocery store; super impressed.

Ive shopped here almost every day for 27 years and will until I drop!! Great selection of everything one needs, great local produce and the organic items are generally cheaper than at the famous store where everybody looks sick. Some odd posts here about non-conformance with masks and preventative rules. I have never witnessed that. The place is clean and the work staff is friendly. Thanks to all of you

Owner does not care about the employees, customers, or community. They refuse to do their small part to keep others safe. It really is disgusting and selfish. Apparently dont care that they could possibly be contributing to someones death. I will never set foot in there again. Science is real. Embrace it. It is not a bad thing.

I will miss the pizza dough and the large and quirky beer selection. But, this place refuses to be part of a community solution to the deadliest pandemic of our lifetimes. Not only do the owners and many employees refuse to wear masks to keep vulnerable people safe, but THEY ARE CURRENTLY SUING THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT over the requirement that they wear masks to keep vulnerable people safe. If you care that little about the community you serve, I will spend my money somewhere else. Disappointed in you people.

Im a former long-time customer and have chosen to boycott this store due to anti-masking position and total disregard for the safety of their customers and employees during the global pandemic. The store owner prefers to prioritize politics over customer safety and satisfaction to the point of joining in a lawsuit challenging our Countys mask mandate that is put in place to save lives. My money will be spent elsewhere.

Great food and produce. I started shopping here when I found out they were standing up against the authoritarian mask mandate. I’m grateful that at least one grocery store in Missoula is protecting the liberty of the community and not giving into the fear-mongering.

The manager was not wearing their mask correctly nor were several people in the deli, a woman had it under her chin and was just talking unmasked while she prepped food. They don’t enforce mask usage here and it’s just unsafe at this point. It’s a shame because it’s a great supermarket otherwise. I have found their hot and cold bar food to have gone down in quality but this blatant lack of public health is bordering on negligent right now.Get it together guys and just wear your mask correctly. Set the example ffs.

Check your milks expiration/sell by date when shopping here. Bought bad milk from them recently. SMH

I live blocks from this place and have shopped here a few times a week for many years. Not any more. Never again. Not after they are suing the health department over a mask rule that protects our vulnerable, our elderly, and those that this pandemic affects the most. I have seen the owner not wearing a mask multiple times while I was shopping. Employees too. All this place is ‘keeping in the hood’ now is COVID-19.

Market of DeathPattee Creek Market is suing Missoula County over its mask mandate putting all Missoulians at risk of Covid. I will never shop there again. These people are more concerned with their personal biases than science and public health.

Not at all safe; masks not worn or enforced. And now apparently suing the Missoula City-County Board of Health because the BoH is trying to keep us safe. Wont be shopping here again.

Great employees but the owner doesn’t believe in masks. They don’t enforce them, and the owner himself was walking around talking to people not wearing one.

Young kid at deli counter was going on and on about his personal drama to a co-worker. Then got upset when we interrupted his outburst for some service. Other than that the selections were just ok I guess.

I love this place. The staff at this store are exceptional, they a supper kind and friendly. Unlike other stores (Fresh Market) the staff at Pattee Creek Market actually have a conversation with you at checkout. Side note it is amazing that they have Apple Pay and Android Pay, I use that all the time and I think it’s awesome that this store accepts it. They have a pretty good selection of things you can get. I love there fried chicken. The butcher (Dave) is going above and beyond to make sure the customer is getter what he/she needs. I am overall impressed with this store. Keep up the amazing amazing work.

I walk in today, June 8, 2020 with my face mask on. No other customers are wearing face masks. When I check out, none of the cashiers are wearing face masks, and when I ask the cashier where the protective plastic shields are in front of every register he replies, The owner doesnt believe in them. Exactly what part does he not believe in? What about the community that shops there? Is his belief larger than the safety of our community? They just lost a customer. Id give them 0 stars if I could.

I may be biased because I work there, but i love the feel of our little hometown grocery store. I love my pattee creek family and our food. Our soups and salads, chips and salsas are always made from scratch. I love making our catering trays for our customers, and I feel so proud when someone walks up and says that they love our chicken (we use our own breading mix), or our specials (which change daily)

Not happy to see they are acting like covid doesn’t exist. No face masks on the deli workers!!! Seriously! Will not shop there anymore! Maybe when you get shut down like Paradise Falls and Staggering Ox when they had employees test positive you will re think your low standards off protecting your customers let alone your employees !

I used to shop at Pattee Creek Market on a nearly daily basis, but I wont be back anytime soon. The owner has made it clear that they dont respect the health and safety of their employees or the public.None of the employees wear masks, there is no plexiglass at the register, I never see wipes for the carts, and they dont have anyone out cleaning the carts either.Edit: Now that they are legally required to, they have installed plexiglass, and usually wear masks. Unfortunately the plexiglass is too small to do any good, and none of the employees wear their masks over their noses.

July 30, 2020: I support local businesses and have always considered PCM to be my grocery store until today. I walked into an isle to find an employee stocking shelves without wearing a mask at all. I turned around to leave and saw that one of the checkers was also fully unmasked. I wont be back.

Great store that has a large variety of brands and items. Almost always find something I havent tried before. Not usually crowded and prices are good.

Pattee Creek Market is the best grocery store in Missoula. Ive had this opinion for years, but I wrote this review to commend the management for responding practically and pragmatically to Covid-19. Opposed to simply reacting to fear like the rest of the world, they have reacted practically. I might not live in this neighborhood anymore, but its still worth driving or biking across town to support the owners and employees of this establishment. Go PCM.

Ive shopped at Patter Creek Market since I moved back to Missoula over 24 years ago. The staff, many who have been there that long, are friendly and helpful. Best seafood selection in town and their organic food prices are lower than anywhere. Great beer and wine selection too. My favorite market!

Love this lil Ma and Pa store 😊 staff is always so helpful! Prices are good, especially on produce. Restrooms are always very clean (which is appreciated when you have a baby!!) Good selection of most products!

Nice small local grocery store with some good variety. This place has amazing deals on a wide selection of wines every week, and there are always great sales in craft beer!

I really want to like this store. I love the idea of shopping local and keeping it in the hood. Ive been a customer for 20 years but what is really going on? The customer service by the cashiers has gone downhill! Today I had to listen to the employee (dark hair, female, plenty of makeup, no name tag) complaining about her previous customer asking her why she did not wear a name tag, and ending by saying because I dont want people like you knowing my name! She is so rude I have watched her before and I was appalled. Never again will I go in. Also please do not buy anything here without reading the date. I bought a grab bag of candy in a Halloween bag and it was Easter candy!! Also check out their candy bar display and look at the Mtn Bars and see they are outdated since June 2017! If you want customers to shop in the Hood you have to first be grateful for the business and secondly be honest have integrity, like your sign says. If something is outdated please do not try to sell it to your loyal customers, it isnt right and you will never succeed in the end.

Great beer selection... able to find two hard to get beers... fall fur from higher ground and ivan the terrible from big sky... hurry in to see if you can get yours

Bunch of good local stuff. Their deli makes good salsa but otherwise sucks, fish and chips are $8lb but theyll throw the fries in there when they weigh, making fries $8lb. They also dont know what theyre doing, theyll advertise something while being out of it for 2 days. Fries were old and cold too

This is a great local grocery store. Would 100% recommend shopping there. They also have great local foods.

Great local grocer! They carry a lot of items that you cant find anywhere else in town, and if you cant find what youre looking for the manager will try his best to get it for you. Friendly staff, rarely busy, great produce.

I want to like this store more, I shop here a lot but what is that smell! Everytime you walk into the entrance there is this horrible smell and I have no idea what it is or why someone doesnt fix it. Otherwise fine store with good selection of stuff made in house. But hold your breath as you walk in.

They have the best deals on fruits and vegetables, even organic options are cheaper than competitors. Good fish options at the deli and they get nice healthy hutterite turkeys for Thanksgiving. I never have to wait in lines to check out.

Pattee Creek Market is, for the most part, about what youd expect from a local grocery store. The prices are not the reason anyone shops here, as the sale prices are more like regular prices at Wal-Mart or even Albertsons (which is only blocks away). The main reason for shopping here is convenience, I live practically next door, but thats not the only reason. They make some awesome specialty sausages (my favorite is Hawaiian Something), their produce is above average, their seafood selection is better than most, and their meat is good. Their bakery could be better but the employees could not. That is, you wont find better people at any chain grocer.

Indeed, this place is great. Probably the largest selection of local and regional products in town. But the real surprise here is the magic that comes out of the deli. The Moose Drool Stew is life-changing, they should seriously open a proper restaurant - the food is that good. An outright shame their food isnt better known around town. Dont let its modest surrounding dissuade you, this is one of the best grocery stores and delis in town. Highly recommended.

Pattee Creek Market is the only supermarket i know of in Missoula that gives credit for reusable bags.

From what I have discovered PCM has by far the best beer selection in town with great prices. Never disappointed when I go in and always leave with something new and unique

Its significantly more expensive than many grocery stores in town. They do have a good assortment of birthday cards. In fact, one beef I have is that, when I was purchasing a card, I had placed it so that it couldnt be read, except for the price. But the female clerk took a look at it without my permission. Thats very presumptuous, not to mention irritating. Clerks just dont do that, unless theyre obnoxious and pushy. It doesnt make me want to go back any time soon.

I ordered two cases of wine and when I picked it up the service was terrible. I waited in the wine department and when nobody was around inwent to the checkout. Three employees were standing around talking. Interrupted and asked about the wine. She said it is probably up front and get a cart. I got the cart and when I checked out the checker said I am not going to help you carry that out. I was a little taken back and disappointed she didnt offer to get someone. I wont order from them again.
