Hands down the worst experience Ive ever had with a local Missoula business. I trusted them with a $2000.00 piece of art that I felt I was not able to pack myself. According to their own website they are able to professionally package and ship any item. I specifically requested that the piece be packed appropriately based on the fragility and the value, and that I wanted it packed with rigid foam and labeled appropriately so the folks at UPS would know the piece was fragile. The employee at the front desk was completely uninterested in assisting me and responded to my questions with short, unprofessional answers.Once the package arrived at my clients I was made aware of the state of the art inside. The Shipping Depot not only failed to place any fragile stickers or any sort of labeling what-so-ever on the exterior of the box, but had professionally packaged the art with bubble wrap and packing peanuts (which they charged me $79.15 for). The piece has substantial damage and is beyond repair. I immediately returned to the shipping depot to speak with somebody about how the piece was packed and I was told that they only package it the way I requested if I had payed for insurance (a mistake by me) but I was not told that until after the fact.It took a number of days to get the owner to speak to me, and thankfully he agreed to fully refund me the cost of $449.00 and that he would get the check out to me. A week and a half passes and I again try to get a hold of the same gentleman I spoke with before, and he informed me that they needed to wait until the claim was processed. I had asked several times for an email to get in writing that he would get me my refund, which I never received.Another week goes by and still no refund until today. However the agreed upon full refund is short by $60.00.I can not recommend The Shipping Depot to anyone who needs assistance professionally packaging anything of value.

I did not know there was a ups drop off site so close to my location. Staff was informative and kind.

The service was a little slow. Had to wait for the employee to come out of the back room but otherwise the employee was very helpful and courteous.

They lost the mail from my PO box that I had them send to me while working on the road... I was told by the guy on the phone that my stimulus check was on the way.......waiting, waiting, waiting...I guess if you just need a PO Box(PMB), live in/near Missoula, it might be what you need, just dont EVER have them send ANYTHING without PAYING MORE and getting a tracking number...

Great place to go to ship things. You have the option of USPS, fedex or UPS. So nice to be able to go to one place for all my shipping needs. Staff was friendly and there was minimal to no wait time.

I am in town for a family emergency and would be out of town for the upcoming presidential election. I never miss voting, and had to scramble to get an absentee ballot, hope that it arrives in time, get it filled out, follow the instructions specific to an absentee ballot (that being signing the envelope and having it notarized), then getting it back in time.I completed everything necessary on my part and after some research found this location. I gave the rep a short description of what I needed, and mentioned using FedEx as a shipment option (which I was told to do by the person who helped me with securing my ballot). He showed me that this would cost about $53 (seriously), and explored other options. He showed me one that was only $10, which indeed ensured that this important item reached its destination in time.I will definitely return for any shipping needs.

Ive only been there twice once to mail a package and once to buy a box. Both times they have been really easy to talk to and the service was fast. Its also very conveniently located.

Great people. Friendly and helpful. I ship homemade toffee at Christmas. If I need mailing supplies, they’ve got them right there. In addition, I love being able to pop in and drop off my UPS returns, it takes seconds and I’m on my way again.

I love this place! They make it extremely easy to drop something off and have them ship it out, even if you lack a box, tape or packaging.

Shipping made easy, they even have packaging made to fit.

This is the only place I use for shipping needs even though its not convenient to where Ive moved. Its actually on the opposite side of town for me. They are always curteous and look for the best way for your package to get there. They also have pretty much everything you need in the way of supplies.

I showed up about 13 minutes before close and didnt leave until about 21 after close. My point is they were NOT in a hurry to push me out of the store like some places. Their main concern was making sure all my needs were met and I walked away happy and confident with thier help shipping a computer.

Went in when I had to send an item I had sold on eBay. The ladies in the Reserve branch were very helpful, as well as polite and collected despite doing three things at once! Kudos to them on getting it done! Even better is the fact that they supply packing tape for you still! As long as they keep that up, theyll always have the edge over the Post Office.FYI; both Shipping Depot and PO are cheaper to send most small items than printing the eBay labels ;)

Great customer service but comes at a very steep price. Yes they ensured my package would survive a nuclear blast. Charging me for bubble Wrap AND Filler? And the box of course...that is a given. Not sure how they chose the box size. I had very minimal things to ship but 24 dollars for FEDEx Ground, and 12 in packaging. $36 bucks to mail something that takes several days to get there, that is the size of monopoly game board set weighing 3 lbs.... Should have just wired money rather than trying to send good anymore... wow. Not even worth shipping anything with those prices.

I just had to make copies today. But normally I do a lot of my shipping there. Great place.

Ive always had great service here. They are efficient and friendly. Im usually in and out in just a few minutes. They also accept my donations of Styrofoam packing material which I loathe to toss in the trash. They have loads of boxes, cards, and shipping supplies for sale. Nicely organized store.

I went to the University here in Missoula and have sold back several books through the Shipping Depot over the years. I found them to be more than reasonable for many reasons. They buy books back year round, they pay in cash, and I noticed that they often take books that the book store on campus will not. It is unreasonable to expect to get back exactly what you bought the book for because universities mark up the book prices so much. If you are looking for fast cash and easy access then the Shipping Depot is your place.

This is the second year I used them to send Christmas gifts, they did a great job, the packages made it on time, they were very quick and helpful, one of the guys even offered to help me being packages in from my car 😁
