Kay, so I absolutely love the cashiers that work the front. They are sweet and encouraging and have cheered me on to class multiple times. However, theres got to be a faster way to get those lines checked out. Not only do you have to wait in line for food, you then have to wait in a queue of about ten people just to pay.
I love this place so much, my only complaint is that it closes when people need it most. Saturday, and Sunday. May I suggest being open those days as well. It doesnt have to be for long its just some people have money left on their meal plan and cant really go anywhere else except Pizza Hut.
Been coming here as a student and employee for over a decade. The saving grace is that its convenient, especially if you walk or bike to campus. Expensive, busy, and generally staffed by students that dont want or care to be there, so dont expect a lot. I will say the breakfast burrito is pretty decent and sammies arent any worse than subway, and they are now getting healthier options beyond corn dogs. Stars given for the older managers who have kept this place together.
Brutal wait times for the checkout line if its busy. The food is fine for what it is but the staff is often distracted and unmotivated. There have been times where Ive had to leave and put things back just to make it class on time without stealing from essentially an overpriced Gas station.
Residing on the Arthur side of the Lomasson center, the Corner Store is located right next to smokers alley. Once you have held your breath through the secondhand smoke you will find yourself inside. The sandwich artists consist of mainly students and I can compare their work to a Bob Ross painting, quick and messy but get the job done for what its worth. There is a kiosk that offers Mexican cuisine to unfortunate patrons that have never seen the food before. I do sympathize with the coffee stand employees who manage to put on a smile despite being forced to shell out orders on multiple fronts. Overall, a rather underwhelming business considering its location that leaves much to be desired.
Prices are very expensive 5$ for a jar of jiff peanut butter, when its the only store on campus and isnt open on weekends. Pizza yesterday was cold and not even sliced up. coffee has been burnt twice, once fixed by employee no problem. Today i got was burnt, i had already waited 30 minutes for the coffee and needed to ride bus to other campus for a class, didnt have time to wait a possible 30 minutes for a new one. wont be going there for coffee again.
Good coffee. Baked goods are meh.
I have to admit, the food I give a 6/10. As for the ladies checking people out, bless their hearts, but theyve made me late for class multiple times. I know people who have stolen from the store due to how inefficient the system is for paying.
Great for people with a meal plan. Bad for general public. Over proceed
My favorite breakfast spot on campus, but they changed their hours to after 8 am classes begin. Very upsetting
Pizza pi has the best prices of any vendor on campus. Go there and get a personal pizza for under 5 dollars.
Convenience store prices. Great breakfast burrito
