We went to Pierce to pick out finishes for our new house including tile and flooring. After we got everything picked out we got a call from them stating the tile was backordered, but the rep we were working with had pulled some similar tiles for us that he assured were in our budget. No big deal, we went and picked one of the tiles that he had pulled.Again, the entire time we were looking and contemplating the choices we were reassured that everything was under budget. After the tile was installed we get a surprise bill for $1700 stating that the tile we picked out was more in fact over the original budget.So I call the rep we were working with and he says theres nothing they can do and that he remembers having a conversation stating its going to exceed the budget. I know for a 100% fact this was never mentioned until we got the bill and it was too late. My partner was there as well and she also doesnt remember this conversation.The rep talked to their manager and they made absolutely zero effort to make the situation right. Very very disappointed and will NEVER recommend or return to Pierce again.

Unfortunately we haven’t had the great experience with these guys that others have. We had a small job (less than 500 square feet) on July 7, 2021. Four months later our job is still not complete nor have we been reimbursed for unused material. They make you prepay for labor based on a guesstimate of how long the work will take their installers. We still haven’t received an itemized bill for the work they did, despite countless calls and emails. We have been waiting on a transition to be installed for four months and still have an exposed metal strip in the middle of our house. When they glued down other transition strips they got epoxy all over the existing tile and the new flooring. I have never written a review in my life but after multiple unanswered emails I dont really know what else to do. And all of this still cost us about $3,000. Super bummed.

This was my second experience with Pierce Flooring because my first experience was so good. I had more limitations to work around this time and Troy and his team were patient and helpful with the process. After choosing the flooring, it took over 6 weeks to get an installer to put the flooring in but that’s more a function of the construction biz in the community right now. Once in, the floor looks great and I can progress with the rest of the updates to the bathroom. Thanks Pierce! You’ll see me again!

Pierce Flooring was amazing! We lucked out getting April as our sales rep. We were new to the area. Our new house had 15 animals living inside of it, so we were desperate for new carpet ASAP. She got it installed within 9 days of us coming in! They were prompt, a fair price, and we were so thrilled to hear she could get it done so quickly when other locations were months out. She knew her teams schedule and was able to squeeze us in. She even recommended a smell zapper from a local supply store to help get rid of the animal odors. We were so pleased that we will definitely be going to her when we remodel the bathrooms and finish out the basement.

Additionally, we were beyond please with the exceptional instillation crew. Korey and his crew walked us through options on transitions and finishes that give our home the calm, beautiful and welcoming setting we were hoping for.

Jim was super nice and seemed to know what needed to be done. He missed a couple of things like where the new floor was going to meet ceramic tile and the height difference. This my husband was able to fix so it was OK. We paid our bill in full on a Friday and was told we would be contacted on Monday to set up a time for our floor to be installed. We did not receive a call on Monday so on Tuesday I called the store. Jen answered the phone. She was the one who was suppose to get us on the schedule. She was rude and of course it wasnt her fault we werent scheduled yet. She had to play receptionists as the other one quit. This however was not my concern, complaining to a customer is very unprofessional and something I really dont want to hear.. She then told me we werent on her schedule even though I was told the previous Friday all was good to go. I finally had to ask for Jim so things could get scheduled. Cory and Donny and crew were awesome. They came in got the floor installed quickly and professionally. Great to work with and if I need anything installed again I will contact Cory as his business is separate from Pierce flooring.

I highly recommend Daniel Martinsen for any flooring needs you may have! He was able to help find us floors within 24 hours when everyone else had to have their products back ordered. I wish I had started with him a month ago. He looped me in on the conversation with the contractor so everything was all taken care of! Ask for Daniel, it was such a relief and pleasure to work with him! I absolutely love the quality of the floors.

But when the contractor we were using left us in a mess, Dan Martinsen stepped up and arranged to order the supplies we had picked out and reputable installers to help us out. Tony installed the carpet in record time, he was in and out before we knew it. Caleb had a massive floor and shower to tile. He was awesome. He had to prepare the concrete first and there was little to no dust. It was amazing. The main floor looks fabulous, but the shower is a work of art! Working with Dan Martinson has been a positive experience even with the delays in shipping supplies for our two bathroom remodels. Dan worked as much as possible to overcome delivery obstacles that are plaguing anyone under construction these days. Altho we are still 3 months behind on anticipated delivery on the flooring for the 2nd bath, Id still recommend Pierce Flooring. Tracy Roy was great to work with when we were looking for carpet. Very knowledgeable and forthcoming with the differences of each carpet type. Pricing seemed fair, all in all cheaper than the box stores, but we got much better quality carpet (we compared samples head to head). The installers (Travis and crew) were a dream to work with. My wife and kids felt comfortable with them in the home and they made short work of the installation. They spent extra time getting rid of squeaky subfloor and took extra care to avoid damaging trim. Id go back to Pierce if I had to do it over again.

April is absolutely the best salesperson in any place ive ever had to deal with. Cares about client and overall design. Is more interested in what fitsbthe design ans needs than the sale of costly product. Absolutely a dream to work with. Schedule a meeting with her and you will be treated with the reapect and service you deserve and more.

I want to start off by saying the products themselves were good; however I can buy good products without leaving my house. I went to Pierce for customer service. My initial experience was positive, fairly quick service in the showroom with a person who knew what they were talking about; so I set up a quote. The people came out but didnt give me the full quote I had asked for. I needed a quote for leveling in an additional room, but I only received a price for the tile. I went into the store the next day and my salesman was gone, so I was directed to the manager. He said he would come out the following day and finish the quote for us. The next morning I got a phone call saying he would no longer be coming out. About a week later I finally had people arrive to measure (my original quote was never updated). I went ahead set up the order for tile and install in mid March. The first room went great, the contractor finished in a day and cleaned up after himself.My second room didnt go quite so smooth. The tile turned out to be back ordered to the 21 of April and I was told, no problems there, not Pieces fault. May 1st comes around and I have received no communication, forcing me to call. I reach my salesman and he tells me my tile has been further delayed until May 7th, no fault of theirs, but why no phone call to let me know? He says he will send me and email with all the details (I am still yet to receive this email). May 18th comes around, no phone call from Pierce. Again, I am forced to call. I relay my tale and am transferred to the manager, not the salesman. Much to my good fortune my tile has arrived that very day... The manager tells me the salesman has not seen the report that day, so he wouldnt have known it arrived yet, but assures me he would have called later. He, however, was not able to explain away why I was never contacted when not once, but twice my order was delayed. Lets be honest, my salesman would have known if it had not arrived on the day he told me it would and should have made contact.My install is rushed to Tuesday and Wednesday of the next week. The installer shows, does some work, but has to return on Thursday to do more. No worries. Has to leave on Thursday before the job is complete and assures me he will return later in the evening to finish. Never returns, never contacts that night. Friday morning comes around and he asks if he can come by at 3 pm since last night got away from him and I say yes. He no shows. On Monday he does show up and works, but gets called away. He finally finishes on Tuesday, and I come home to find a huge gap between the floor and the wall it was supposed to butt up against. (See attached picture. I knew it wouldnt be perfect but nearly 3/4 of an inch is far from a professional job. No time taken to make rectangular cuts to match against the wall. Now I get to spend more money and fix it.) I also find remnant tile scraps spread over two rooms that are stuck to our existing flooring, dusty foot prints all over the tile, small metal shards from the cut up metal transitions, and chucks of hardened floor leveling. All stuff I got to clean up.Overall, I am not impressed. Very bad at communication, and only one of two jobs done in a timely and clean fashion. The manager did refund some of my money, but refunds dont cover up bad service, and dont create repeat customers. When it comes time soon for me to have the carpets replaced in the bedrooms, Ill be looking elsewhere. Given my experience, I cannot recommend Pierce to my friends and colleagues.

We were promptly greeted when we walked in and a short bit later an associate, Tracy, was there to ask us what we were looking for and point us in the right direction. It was clear he has a lot of knowledge and personal experience with flooring. He quickly got us pricing information and scheduled the installation. Afterward I had a few questions so I called and he gladly took the time to address them.Installation was great with Farrell. We knew the amount of flooring would be tight, even with the few extra planks Tracy threw in, but with the variable width planks we still can up a bit short. Farrell and Renee took care of it along with the warehouse so by the time I arrived at the store and paid, someone was there to load up the extra box of flooring for me and off I went!It turned out beautiful and my experience was pleasant. The price was reasonable, as well. So far I couldn’t be more happy with my experience.

I worked with Craig Court at Pierce flooring on several occasions and feel he was great to work with to pick durable and good looking flooring for both my vacation home as well another flooring project. If we have flooring needs in the future, I wouldnt hesitate to use him again.

Our salesman, Jim, guided us to some beautiful hickory hardwood on sale and Pierces installers were pleasant, professional, and completed the project to my total satisfaction. Overall I had very poor customer service. Once my order was placed, it was extremely difficult to get a hold of the salesman. I chose the particular hardwood flooring I did because I was assured it would be available that week. I was told it would arrive on a Thursday, so when the day came I called Pierce - the salesman was not in yet so I left a message. A few hours later I called again and they could not find my order. I called the salesman on his cell, and finally reached him after multiple attempts. Apparently my name had been entered into the system wrong, but the entire order was in I was told. All I would need to do was go to the warehouse and pick it up, no documentation was needed he said. Upon arriving at the warehouse, they had no paperwork for the order. After many more phone calls, the warehouse was able to confirm my order. It was short two boxes. I was told the rest of the order would be in the next day. I texted the salesman I was worried I would not get the order in time, and to please call me the next morning. He did not call until 1 in the afternoon, after the kind folks at the warehouse had already informed me that only ONE of the boxes arrived. The other box would be coming Monday now. So after being reassured twice of delivery dates, I felt lied to. I realize mistakes happen, but this, combined with an unresponsive salesman, made me feel like they could care less about smaller customers. I voiced my frustrations to the salesman, to which he finally offered to look into a rebate. This turned out to be less than 3% off my order, which was underwhelming to say the least. To add salt to the wound, I still had no receipt at that point, and had to ask for one. Upon receiving my invoice, my name was spelled incorrectly and I asked for a new one. I received no response, and as of this post am still waiting on documentation with my actual name. I left two stars instead of one because the warehouse folks were very kind and attentive.

From the moment I entered the store and met Dan Martinsen, Project Manager at Pierce Flooring and Design in Missoula I knew I wanted to do business with him. He was very knowledgeable about carpet products and correct installation. He worked extremely hard to present many options for carpeting our home. His on site presence during installation was above and beyond professional and helpful.The carpet is excellent and we are over the top satisfied with the entire process. Carpet installer, Race did a great job laying the carpet as well.I recommend Pierce Flooring if you want the job done right.

During and especially after the initial planning and design stage of our bathroom and mudroom remodel, we had a hard time getting ahold of our contact person at Pierce Flooring. Once we had ordered the tile and associates products for the job, we were twice told to go pick up the supplies at the warehouse despite the products not being ready at that location. Additionally the personnel at the warehouse were not told we were coming and therefore didn’t have the ticket ready for pickup. The amount of tile that our contact person ordered was so far over the actual amount we needed I am now stuck with boxes of extra tile that I paid for but cannot use. When I tried to return these boxes nobody at Pierce ever returned my call or could give me any answers in person at the store. My experience was so challenging during the bathroom remodel that I found another store for the flooring for my mudroom, as I hope to never have to deal with Pierce Flooring again.

Race Court was contracted to do our install and was very accommodating to our schedule, and mindful of our two cats and dog, and did an amazing job with the installation. It was quick, painless, and affordable. I cant recommend them enough for both purchasing flooring and installation.

Matt Van Tassel was great to work with and very knowledgeable about the companys products, what would/would not work in my home, and accurately measuring my space. Mikhail Lats did a great job installing the carpet I chose, worked late into the evening to get the job done in one day, and cleaned up before he left despite the lateness off the hour.
