I absolutely love this store. I found all that I needed plus a bit more.

I love Michaels, but they never have supplies for writers, and Im a very harsh judge of notebooks, but they did not have a lot of different ones. Still, they have everything you could possibly need for most art projects and a healthy amount of seasonal items.

Aaron has great customer service! I called to check on a sale, he ran around the store looking for what I was interested in and when I questioned the sale that was going on he got the flyer out and looked at the items on sale, and then went and found the items and described them to me in detail. We had a great conversation and he was very helpful! He deserves a raise!! I see he has another good review on here. Michaels dont lose this employee! Great personality and energy! Used to love shopping here since they are one of the only fine arts shops in town, but now they are too often out of stock on basics. It’s clear they’ve shifted focus from an arts shop to seasonal knick knacks. Plus their prices are much higher than online shops, with way fewer coupons than in the past.

Employees are always very nice! Typically low stock once sales start. Sometimes it takes over a week for some ideas to come back in stock.

I shop a lot at Michaels and this last visit was to purchase leather cording and fastenings to repair some old necklaces I have and hang some turquoise pendants from. They have such a wide variety of jewelry items and beadwork that I could spend all day in those aisles!

So, I guess masks arent required at Michaels? Minimum wage (or close to it) employees should not be EXPECTED to confront customers for not following the mask mandate, but still. I found what I was looking for, but a lot of merchandise was sold out (maybe Covid related?) Employees had a general sense of where to find things (to be fair it is a big store) but it took a bit to find it. It has been this way for at least a year so in fairness there were no surprises.

This is an awesome store I dont care what city youre in, Ive never been to a Michaels and had a bad experience! The one in Missoula is great we were there very late at closing time, my mother had a supersets purchase which the guy ended up waking her through the store to find 1 last thing even after the time was up to leave and still finished her purchase a few minutes later, no attitude or anything him and the girl working with him that night were very sweet! I will always recommend going to Michaels!

Didnt have anything I needed in stock and staff were not helpful and irritated I asked for help locating an item they aparently dont have in stock anyway

I had the pleasure of working with Matthias in the frame shop over the past week. I came to him with a few prints and some ideas and he went above and beyond helping me understand a variety of options available and mocking up some options with the design tool. He made me aware of promotions available and came up with some great creative suggestions based on my questions and vision. He was friendly and courteous and my custom work was delivered quickly. I look forwsrd to working with him on my next project idea!

Absolutely love this place but my wallet gets worried every time I come in! Its too hard to say no to the super soft yarn, all the glittery doo-dads and the Supreme copic markers. Might have to get an organizer next time for all my goodies!😊

Michaels is always crazy. Dont go here if you are in a hurry as you will only be frustrated. They seem to run with minimal staff. If you have questions or need help, good luck. Check out takes forever. The store generally has a great selection of items and is fairly clean and organized.

Love Michaels for getting my yarn for crocheting. They always have colors I cant find anywhere else and their always having deals going on. Staffs always friendly and helpful and they seem to keep the place quite clean and tidy. They have a great selection for all your crafts and hobbies. They have something there for everyone. Definitely would recommend if your big into hobbies and crafts. Ive never been disappointed.

Its all we have for decent art supplies. I wish we had an actual art supply store, like we used to but we done. I do wish the online pick-up was not stuck up by the checkout...the ONE place someone who orders online for pickup only wants to avoid....at all costs.

Who is giving this place 5 stars?There’s never more than two people on duty, and usually the second person who isn’t stuck behind the register doesn’t know where the thing you want is. Top that with an online store that doesn’t reflect what they have in stock.

First time Ive stopped in @ that the North Reserve location. They had exactly what I was looking for & it was 70% off! Friendly staff, clean & very good about Covid guidelines!

Its a nice place. I feel like it is a little cluttered maybe? Lot of crafts in a small space. Otherwise I have a good time going there, the staff were nice and lots of choices.

Great craft store

They always have great coupons on their website and usually after you make a purchase you get one as well. They have almost anything you can think of for crafting as well as storage. They have a huge photo frame selection as well

It is getting real tiring that companies are using Covid as an excuse for piss poor service that they’re providing. How is it you can only schedule one cashier but it’s acceptable to have nine people in one line standing there for 20, 30 or 40 minutes at a time. It is quite possible that you wouldn’t have upset customers making a complaint if any one person could actually take accountability and provide customer service. I mean that is the point of your job.

Theyre out of the pens and glow-in-the-dark paints that I was looking for and I dont like to shop online so Ill just have to wait until they have them in stock

This store is very disorganized, when we went to pay most of our items were a different price than we expected and when they did a price check we were told the items were in the wrong place. Also the person that checked us out was wearing a face mask that was inappropriate and unprofessional, it was actually very creepy and would be frightening to young children. I will certainly not be returning to Michaels any time soon.

Michaels always has good deals. More times than not I find what Im looking for. I never leave unhappy.

Good for the crafty hobby type people. I am not crafty and I only go there when I cant really find what Im looking for anywhere else. The place is nice and they have a lot of stuff. Somethings ice noticed are pretty expensive compared to other places. But generally there prices are decent.

Messy. Clerks are stocking merch. Not enough checkers. Bathrooms were closed. Not impressed.

So many fun things to discover at this store. Plan on taking lots of time because you wont want to quit checking each aisle out. Not just fun crafts of all kinds but classy home decor, ornaments and toys.

Basic. They stock the bare minimum of product to cover a wide variety of crafting and art supplies. So, you may not find precisely what you are looking for, but you may find something to get you by.Also, they are quite spendy by comparison. Jo-Ann Fabrics carries almost the exact same inventory, but their pricepoint is 10-15% less on average. And you dont often see items out-of-stick. If youre going to shop at Michaels then be sure to sign up online for the weekly 40% off coupons.Its definitely convenient to have on the north side, but realistically a bit limited and overpriced. Your better off planning ahead and buying online.Their customer service has always been very good for me - very helpful and polite.
