Very nice place, well organized and a lot of selection for such a small space. Along with guitars and other music gear for sale. Lots of jazz, soul, and rock music. Small country and hip hop selection. This doesn’t bother me as each place has a little different and we all know rock/jazz and vinyl go hand in hand. Along with other formats for sale, and cleaners and accessories as well, a solid all around small record store. Will return. Very friendly staff, this was my first time in and I felt “accepted” and felt like a regular. Loved that!

Small shop with a lot to offer. I only have shopped for vinyl here so thats what I can talk about. Sales staff isnt pushy and are willing to help out with whatever random questions you have. Selection is great for new and used records. Definitely a must visit for anyone getting into vinyl or just looking to expand their collection.

My two experiences at Brothers Music have been great. I am always searching for punk rock, reggae, and country records. With that being said, I have found some real gems at Brothers. One of the fellas I spoke to there is a reggae fan and really knows his stuff. Its nice to see records by such great Dub artists as Scientist in stock. This place is pretty cool.

Was my friend and I first visit and dude said hi to us and basically left us alone to peruse the many selections, i loved it. he noticed what i was looking at made one suggestion and that was all. appreciated. so many to see and so little time. you will find something, even if it wasnt your orig want. going back is in my future

This is the best place to buy used vinyl, which is both carefully and accurately graded, in the Kansas City area. Impossible to beat prices in a clean, well-organized, inviting environment. Kyle has excellent customer service as well! Music lessons are also offered in-store. With a growing selection of new vinyl, Brothers Music KC is well on its way!

If you are looking for Vinyl records then this is the place. They have a great selection of different musical styles. Everything is well organized and the staff is knowledgeable and willing to try and find something if it’s not in stock. They also sell a variety of instruments and used stereos.

Brothers Music is a great record store (and more) located in an awesome building (I was new to the area on my first trip, and loved the retro exterior.) I came in to see what records they had, and though I was surprised to see mostly used albums, the selection was still great. One of the brothers, Cole, was behind the counter while I was there, and was very friendly and knowledgeable.Ill be back for many more trips to build my collection, and maybe even some lessons. Highly recommend stopping in!
