Unfortunately, the employees are unmasked and coughing on the donuts. I had to throw mine away after buying and seeing this happen. Guess Ill stop coming to this donut shop and go somewhere else where they do believe in keeping a safe and hygienic environment.

This place has been the only place where I enjoy doughnuts since I was a little girl and this is because my Dad used to take all of us (family of 5) to get doughnuts,I love them and now my daughter too, good service, product and variety. Oh and it was clean ✨

This is the Shipley Do-Nuts in the corner of 10th Street and Pecan Rd, in McAllen. This ones don’t compare to the ones in Pharr. The donuts here in McAllen were very dry, a bit hard, and much more sugary than the ones in Pharr. It’s good for donuts to have sugar, but idk if the sugar slipped out of their hands into the pot, but dang, that gave me and my kids a sugar rushed. We were awake the entire night, something that doesn’t happened. Another issue was that the manager was very rude, he seemed very impatient and stressful. Idk why he was in the window, but if you’re not going to have any customer service skills, don’t attend the customers.

In order to get fresh donuts you have to go early. They still have great donuts even when not fresh. Thats how you know that Shipleys is the best. The cake-like donuts are delicious and the prices are pretty cheap. They also have really low priced hot drinks. So good!

Best donuts and rolls in town. We frequent the store 3 times a week. We take all our visitors for a treat when they visit. We enjoy talking to the family and guest every time we eat at Shipleys.

Staff is rude and donuts are old! When you are there, just ask how old the donuts are. They have no problem telling you the donuts have been there for hours. Since they dont bake there, the donuts are NOT fresh! If you want fresh Shipley donuts, go to the Shipley donuts on 10th Street.

Very helpful staff. The shop is immaculately clean and everything is well organized. I asked for a dozen assorted donuts and the young lady attending me made sure I got exactly what I wanted. Coffee was great. Was there at 5:45am and everything was on point.

I was there this morning about 8:15 a. m. and female employee got into a verbal abusive unrespectful attacking attitude with male employee. I felt uncomfortable and left. Bad for business. She was literally screaming and cusing from front of counter to other employee. Management needs to discipline female employee.-0pm

Stopped by the drive thru today and waited 45 minutes!, only 1 girl was working, she didn’t apologize that I waited so long and didn’t even thank me when I left. Will be going to Krispy creams NEXT time👍

Doughnuts is the only reason for the 2 stars! They never have sausage and cheese kolaches! And the older lady handling the window just always seems bothered! It really makes me uncomfortable, and since they were out of sausage and cheese kolaches, she mentioned they had others I had asked what they had inside she rolled her eyes like if it was a bother to her. Idk but she needs to be trained how to treat customers. Thanks.

Stopped by at 9:30pm and had very limited options.They were out of many/popular donuts. They just had donuts that dont sale so that late customers are forced to buy them. I could see customer ahead was disappointed as well. Bought only 2 donuts and hoped recepients would like them. I will not go again during late hours.

They say a moment on the lips Forever on the hips but these Donuts are just way too good to care about it on the way home I love to stop in and grab a donut and a hot cup of coffee and go home and relax before bed and not worry about nothing else these Donuts are awesome you have to try them

I have always enjoyed Shipleys, it like eating memories from childhood.

Very rude and I waited like 20min qu the drive thru. She was just standing there not doing anything but when confronted she said she was going to attend the customer inside first but was still just standing there doing nothing and smiling. Worst customer service ever.

Shipleys is probably the best local doughnut shop in the valley. I love the devils food blueberry filled creme filled apple fritters and cinnamon rolls

I love it here but the prices are a bit too high. Yet the doughnut variety is plentiful.

First time here and only reason I am giving it a 1star is because of the service. There was no customers in the store and two young ladies working in the store seemed to be having a conversation. Cashier waited untill she was done chit chatting to take our order. Very unprofessional. Ill stick to Nolana location next time.
