Do not buy Bontrager tubes, I hope I can return this tube. The tube on photo is brand new and failed during first ride. The tube linear defect that looks like a split not a puncture is on inside diameter of the tube. This is second time that it happened to me, this product is poorly manufactured in mainland China and is poor quality.
I have bought 3 bikes from this store and gotten a 4th one a marlin 7. On my 1st ride the crank had completely fallen apart on me. I had returned it and when I was advised it would be a while for a replacement part I had asked for a refund to find a bike else where. At 1st they wanted to charge me 20 percent for restocking fee before taxes. Then after talking to them they included the taxes. After spending and investing on 3 different bikes at this store and at the first sign that I needed actual customer service they where unwilling to help. I called Trek Customer Service and they stated that a stocking fee SHOULD NOT have been charged. Since then I will never go back to this store for any assistanceI originally wasnt told the part would arrive in 3 days. I was told it would be a while because there were no parts. Also, calling your restocking fee policy of 20% a small fee is nothing but. Thats $180. Thats not a small fee. I dont want to be nickel and dimed at all, and much less for $180 when I was a loyal customer. I just wanted to point that out to customers looking into shopping for bike stores.
Good customer service, poor follow up.Went today and the bike was there, the guy said it arrived on Tuesday. Not a call or e-mail to let me know. If you are buying a Trek bike at least they should inform when it arrives.
My experience has been mixed, not great, but I think theyre doing the best they can under the circumstances of the current shortages. On July 27, 2020, I brought in a bike for a bottom bracket repair and a tune-up. I left them my phone number and email but didnt hear from them for more than two weeks.I went to the store on August 14 to pick up my bike. They hadnt done anything because they didnt have the parts in stock. So I took the bike home. But I did buy a used bike they were selling and some spare pedals. They didnt have a cycle computer I wanted. They didnt have a tool I am looking for, but neither does any other bike shop in the RGV. They were courteous and helped where they could.

Worst customer service ever. Went it in do a warranty exchange on a faulty tube as per TREK corporate informed me to do. The elderly man was very rude and called me a liar as to how it happened and refused to assist. After calling TREK corporate again they will just be mailing out my tire so I wont have to return to this poorly managed store. Also, a complaint was filed against this store with corporate.

Had my bike tuned and two new tires installed and the service was excellent! Gears are shifting more smoothly than ever before and are staying in tune. They have a great selection of bikes that are very tempting. I’ve done business at both locations and I highly recommend this bike shop.
5 phone calls to determine they ordered the wrong size rim. Not sure why their employees kept telling me they would call me back. I get mistakes happen, but fix them and move on. Canceled the order and called another local shop. Customer service doesn’t seem to be their strong suit.

I personally wouldnt recommend this place. I purchase a GT Hybrid and have had more issues than a Walmart bike. I took it in for a break job and they charged me $60 dollars. The breaks worked for a couple of weeks at most since I hardly ride. I spent $1,100 for this bike. Ill go somewhere else next time.
Good selection of bikes, bike accessories and gear. I ordered a bike rack but they assembled it incorrectly and I had to disassemble part of it and reassemble it myself.
