Fred and I have been going to the Goodyear on Johnson Drive for many years. We are always happy with the mechanical and technical service we receive and everyone that works here is excellent, but Chris seems to be the x factor that keeps this auto service at the top of the game. Chris has proven to be an extremely knowledgable professional with a winning personality. We always know we are going to to receive excellent service when we see him at the desk or when he answers the phone. Quite frankly, Chris has always gone above and beyond for his customers and we all are the better for it.

I don’t review a lot but the guys at Goodyear definitely deserve one. These guys always go out of there way to help. Chris helped me with a door gasket that was loose on my car, that I couldn’t figure out. And they are always super fair with all the quotes they give you. Never try to up charge you on things, and when they do think you need something else they always go in depth to explain it. Great place and definitely recommend.

BUYER BEWARE: This location may try to lie to you about unexpected things being wrong in order to make you pay/buy more. Before my experience, my brother warned me of a suspicious experience he had that resulted in him needing to buy a new tire because of an unforeseen hole in the side wall. Last week, after puncturing a tire on my truck, I attempted to plug it myself. When the plug didnt hold, I decided to take it in for a patch. I left my truck there with the spare on over the weekend and went out of town only to receive a call from Kieth Saturday morning telling me that I needed to buy a new tire because it had, you guessed it, a hole in the side wall, when I knew flat out that was a lie. Turns out they had fixed the tire fine and he was just trying to get me to buy a new one for no reason. Its a shame because they seem to do nice work. Just be weary

These gentlemen saved our trip to the pool!Over the HOT summer, I noticed a scraping sound from the bottom of my Honda Fit. Turns out the plastic that protects the undercarriage had come loose and was bouncing on the road. Goodyear on Johnson drive was the closest location so I called ahead to ask if they could help me out. He said sure come on in. So my mom, my son, and I arrived and they set us up in the comfortable, spacious waiting room while their service professional took a look. He had that plastic fixed in 15 minutes -- and they surprised me by not charging anything! I was so appreciative. I live in Waldo but this is going to be my place from now on, based on this excellent and quick customer service!

Excellent customer service--again!! I intentionally use Goodyear Auto Service because of the service to the car and the above and beyond customer service. Each store takes care of my car but doesnt try to sell unnecessary products or services. This Goodyear on Johnson Drive in Mission was terrific too! I highly recommend this store too!

What an amazing staff at this location! We have always enjoyed coming here, always friendly and helpful, but on this day, the men went above and beyond. They coveted the cost of my oil change! I had mentioned to Chris when I dropped my car off that I was waiting for a call from the hospital. My dearest best friend is dying from Covid and isnt expected to make through the day.....if I could in any way get the service completed before the afternoon, that would be very helpful so I can go to the hospital to say goodbye to my friend. An hour later, Chris called and said its ready. When I arrived to pick it up and pay, he told me he and the guys covered the cost. My heart is so touched by this kindness. Of course tears ran down my cheeks and my spirit is touched immensely! I am so grateful for employees like this.....I hope they are recognized for this good deed. I got a tire repaired and break light fixed back in July and the service was great. The employees were willing to work with my schedule to allow for reasonable car drop off and pick up times. My receipt says I was dealing with Christopher and Christian, props to them!

I was in a bind late on a Saturday, and somewhat desperate to get a new tire after a flat. Keith patiently walked me through how to give him the information he needed and was able to get me in and out in about half an hour. Great job!

I was looking forward to a weekend with friends to do some Kansas sightseeing (required a lot of driving). The night before the trip, my low tire pressure light came on and the next morning the tire was flat. I was able, with a friends help, to refill it, and drive to the Goodyear on Johnson Drive in Mission. I thought I had made an online appointment the night before, but when I arrived, the appointment was not on the list. Regardless, they were able, on a busy morning, to look at my tire right away and get it patched. I was able to get on the road to meet my friends. Thank you so much, Goodyear Guys, for helping me!!

Never will I come here again. I was having to air my tire up two times a week. Have a warranty and took it here for service and was told nothing was wrong with the tire. Well I’m just crazy and pretending to air my tire up every week. Took it to another location and they said there was a nail in my tire. Goodyear is supposed to be the leaders of the tire industry! Shame on you Johnson Dr, what a waste of time I spent the day my car was brought to you. I will never go to this location again I will go to Croix in Topeka or the K-7 location in Shawnee Mission.

Traveling today we noticed air was leaking pretty bad out of back passenger tire. Being a Saturday good luck trying to find a provider willing to take care of you in the afternoon without an appointment. Goodyear did however go out of there way to help. They saw there was 2 kids and a mom trying to get home ASAP. They took care of us right away. Highly recommend this company!

Rolled in with a severe flat. Less than 50 minutes later out on the road to work with a new tire. Really appreciate the speedy work and customer care.

We were out of town on a road trip and they made a special effort to get to our car in and get us on our way. Total charge was only $18! Chris also provided dog treats for the dogs. Amazing service.

Bought a set of the best tires they had with a lifetime replacement guarantee. They didnt honor this because the tires are no longer made. Was talked into buying the best tires again and dealing with their rebate service is a nightmare. Ive submitted 5 times with no response and have called about 20 times. Im done with Goodyear. I shouldve been supporting local anyways. An insane waste of time.

I was out running errands when my tire gauge alert went off. Made it to the gas station for some air and attempted to drive home and make an appointment to get new tires when the alert came on again. I could hear the leak in my tire and Goodyear was the closest place for service. Being a Saturday and without an appointment I was thrilled that they were even going to attempt to help me even if that me at I was going to have to wait a few hours with a fussy baby at nap time and an antsy 7yo. These guys did me a huge favor by not only getting me in but probably Messing up their schedule to help me out and I am extremely thankful for their service today and will be returning (with an appointment) in the future.

Pat was very helpful and knowledgeable. He solved a couple of problems to make my experience a positive one. I will be back.

I discovered a very flat tire from a large screw one night. I scheduled an appointment for the next morning at this Goodyear. They patched my tire, checked the tire integrity, and put it back on, all with me in and out in 45 minutes! And all FOR FREE. Fantastic service. Definitely coming back here for car needs in the future.

I got a flat tire on my way home- they graciously got my car in the next morning and fixed it right up!! Explained to me what they did and were so easy to work with all at no expense to me!! I will be going back here for my auto needs!

**UPDATE: Was contacted after posting my review by the locations manager, Keith. He was very polite and accommodating when it came to helping resolve my situation. He apologized for the misunderstanding and returned my tire while offering a full refund for the tire the shop had replaced it with. He was very professional and patient with the goal of ensuring I left feeling taken care of at the end of the day.Came in with a flat tire looking to get a free repair. Received a phone call the night of detailing the conditions of my tire explaining that the tire was not losing air and could be picked up but would eventually need a replacement. I was a tad confused on the advice but expressed that if it was okay to pick up I would and would look into replacements shortly after. When I arrived to pick up my car the following day I was charged for a new tire that they had put on not under my consent. I explained that I was misunderstanding why my car received a new tire and was told that the siding was destroyed. I am frustrated that I was not told in a clear way what was wrong with the tire the night before. If I had understood I needed a replacement I would have been able to select the tire I would like to have. The description I received was very misleading and I felt taken advantage of. I will be taking my business elsewhere in the future.

My check tire pressure sensor light came on. A handsome serviceman immediately put air in all four tires, and I was able to get on the highway within 2 minutesand arrive on time! And they would not even charge me. Wow! So I will look forward to going back when I need them to rotate my tires!

These guys are great especially with flat tires. We’ve had the misfortune of several nails and screws and these guys are fast, helpful and courteous.

My company uses them for their tire shop. They do good work however its always tough to get an appointment for simple things like oil changes for flat repairs the same day or even the next day. Usually we have to leave the vehicles there for half the day for an oil change. They do good work, maybe thats why are busy.

Went to get 3 tires changed, nearly cost me $600 and the didnt have the decency to fill the tire I didnt need changed, they also messed with my light settings which I dont understand because I got them changed in the middle of the day. I wont be back

This shop specializes in preventative maintenance items. It is also a full service shop.They do perform basic services like oil changes and tire repairs, but they do not advertise a 30 min service, like some shops. They take their time to check your vehicle, and suggest maint items, to keep your vehicle running a long time. Amazing shop, amazing people.

The service itself and the expected time were spot on. If you decide to go here, please be mindful of your bill. On both drop-off and pick-up, I was up charged $80 for two different things. I was initially told these were taxes. Easy mistakes to make, Im sure. Just be aware when you receive your quote and go to pay.

The staff was very friendly at first, however, that was just a show. I dropped my car off at the shop for an oil change and tire rotation and was approximated around an hour and a half. Three hours later, my car was returned and I thought everything was fine. Two days later, I left for a road trip (which is why I had an oil change and tire rotation in the first place) and to my surprise, I’m driving home in the middle of nowhere and my car starts dinging, telling me to pull over immediately because I have low oil pressure. Me, not knowing a thing about cars, decided that I’d go ahead and check my oil and low and behold there was absolutely no oil registering on the dipstick. I am 100% sure that I didn’t have an oil leak because I park on a flat driveway daily and there were never any puddles of oil and I checked my oil a day after I had the oil change. So I’m stranded in the middle of nowhere and I had to walk to the nearest gas station to get a couple quarts of oil to make it home so my engine didn’t get damaged. Today, I got home and was told by numerous people that I needed to do another oil change on my own. (So much for paying $50 for one a week ago) Now I don’t know much about cars, but I do know how to do a simple oil change. I jack my car up and climb under and for 20 minutes, I struggled to get the over tightened bolt out of the oil pan to drain the oil. Eventually I got the oil drained and went to unscrew the oil filter only to discover that the geniuses who did my oil change forgot to put oil on the ring of the oil filter. (I still haven’t been able to get the filter off). Overall, my experience was extremely unpleasant and this place is a scam for money. My advice to you would be to find someone you trust to do a quality oil change so you won’t be screwed into paying $50 and then be forced to go buy a new oil filter and 5 more quarts of oil. Even after reaching out to the company, they refuse to refund me for the oil change that lasted me less than a week.

I have been going to this Goodyear location for three years now. Every time I go for an oil change, the customer service has been great and the lobby is always clean. Larry, the head manager, took the time to take me into the shop to show me how thin my rear tire brake pads had become and answered all my questions about the replacement process and costs.Definitely make an appointment for any service. This is a busy Goodyear, but I have never had any problems with my service when I make an appointment. I recommend this location to friends.

Took my car here because a nail was in the tire and it is very close to where I live so very handy. They said it couldnt be patched because it was too close to the sidewall and they would need to order the tire (they never have the right tire in stock). I decided to take it somewhere else that did have the tire in stock-when I got to the other place they said it absolutely could be patched and didnt know why I was told that. I wont be going here for tire issues anymore.

General manager was there before 7 am and found the issue with my tire. He got my tire fixed quickly and I was back on the road for work. Helped save my long day on the road and kept my safety in mind. Thank you

Great, friendly service! I showed up around 7:30am because my car was saying that my right front tire had low air pressure. Not only did the man working offer to fill up my tires for me, he noticed that my valve caps were missing and put some used ones on for free. I drove away feeling taken care of and without paying a cent. Ill definitely be willing to spend money there next time I need tires!

It is close to my house so drop off of vehicles is very convenient for me. They seem to do good work and I have had no problems there.

So at 9am, I scheduled an appointment online for a simple oil change at 11am on a Monday. In fairness it did say 3 hour wait, which I just assumed was a maximum wait so that no one will take the estimate too seriously. But I dropped it off, and waited. I called at 4pm (5 hours later), and they said they still havent gotten to it, and might take another hour or so to get to it. Finally got it back at 530. Why in the world do you have an appointment system then? Why did I get no warning at the desk? I now see other reviews about it taking absurdly long and about someone not even getting oil put in?

I was told by my mechanic that my 50,000 mile tires were bald at 30,000 miles and the threads were exposed. I took the car to where I bought the tires and they proceeded to tell me that the reason the tires were bald was because I didnt rotate the tires often enough. I told him that I have receipts to prove the contrary. I was told that Goodyear would discount two new tires $40 each. I paid $935 a year and a half ago and they want to discount $80 on something that i never should have had to worry about. I was then told that the reason my tires were damaged was because I didnt have an alignment, but again, I have receipts to the contrary. I no longer have any trust in Goodyears product. Goodyear, you have lost a faithful customer. My parents have been loyal for years, but no more.

I started having AC issues on a Saturday so I went on line to make a Sunday appointment since the care would be needed extensively the following week an the weather report looked nasty. The process was quite painless however, when I got to the shop Sunday morning, I was told there was nobody there to do AC service on Sundays. Its going to be a warm week.

The technician couldnt tell if the motor was a v6 or an in line 4. Left the interior greasy as well. Avoid this service station. Theyll end up doing more damage than good.Update: Just realized these thieves took all the spare change I had sitting in my car. May be a few dollars worth but I used it whenever I drive on I70.

Ive been here several times over the years, and doing the right thing is a priority for them. One time, a replacement part didnt fit correctly for my particular vehicle. It took a couple return visits, but they made sure it was right, even going to the effort of rebuilding the part to work correctly.

Friendly service. Knowledgeable and helpful. But like all places they try to sell you their product even if it means misleading or fabricating information. But the service on my car was great.

I normally do not trust mechanic shops, as I have gone to a family mechanic for years until moving out of distance recently, but this shop is a gem. I truly feel that their pricing is fair and have never felt like Ive been ripped off. I havent had experience with the mechanics directly, but the job always comes out correct and the wait time is minimal. The main reason that I keep coming back to this shop is the guys in the front room (the guys who greet you). Simply put, Ive had experience with all of them and theyre very customer oriented. That is very important to me because the second I feel like a salesman is trying to cheat me on a sale, I walk away. Long review, I know, but its my first one! Lol

I am a regular to goodyear but this is the first time I have gone to this location. The guys behind the counter were nice and joked with us while we waited. I dropped the car off and waited for the oil change at 330.....I left at 520. That was the longest oil change ever. They got it in quickly and I saw them working on it every once in a while when I stood. But normally oil changes dont take that long. So what was going on? We had to back to the counter after they pulled it down and parked it because no one called us to say it was finished. They stuck my keys and slip in the office something they normally do for people who are not waiting. Not sure if something got crossed or not but that really irrated me.

Worst customer service experienced! I brought my vehicle in for an alignment when they werent busy. Told me it would be 3 hours. I couldnt leave it so I scheduled an appointment. Dropped it off, their mechanic left, and they couldnt get to it. Rescheduled for another date. Verified and dropped it off, walked home. Called 15min prior to closing to check on it. They didnt even touch it. Said they would call the next day and somewhat apologized. 2 days later received a call with a manager who just made excuses and never offered a sincere apology. I would advise you to go somewhere else.

Holy cow!!!! I love these people and I dont even know them!!! I came in for the first time to this location for new tires and an alignment. I got a pretty good deal and the service was outstanding. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. I dropped my car off and left and they called me to keep me informed and again when my car was ready. I thought it would take all day to get everything done since I wasnt waiting at the store but the whole process didnt take long at all. If you are nervous at all about getting your vehicle serviced like I am, I highly reccomend this Goodyear location. If I could marry Goodyear on Johnson drive I would!!!
