The worse customer serviceNo one ever answers the phone. They keep transferring me to Nicole who doesn’t answer and doesn’t return phone calls when you leave voicemails. Tried to schedule an oil change told me the next available appointment isn’t till two and a half weeks! For an oil change!Gets better my husband calls all of a sudden Nicole has this Thursday available.I absolutely hate dealing with this dealership

We had a very good experience with our purchase of a new car yesterday 07/31/2021. People are friendly. Mathew is very patient with us, and he is good and professional. He is good in explaining things. He is very nice and has good personality. We never get to meet the managers who make the decisions behind the doors, but They do respond quick to our requests. Joshua, the financial manager is a sweetheart. He is very thorough, and explained things that are beneficial to us the customer, and he tries to help us as much as he can.Mathew travelled more that 60 miles to go to another dealership to pick up the car that we want. He even wash the car to make it presentable, and delivered it to our home. Now, that’s customer service. What can I say. We’re a very satisfied customer.

We called before we went there to find out what vehicle they had on site. Sales person said he would call me right back, he did not. We drove out, I walked thru the sales room, no one said anything. Finally, as we were leaving, a sales person came up to me and had asked if I had called (I had a hat on reflecting I was a veteran), I said yes, he apoligies and he said he got busy and forgot to call back. Non the less we looked at a Cross Sport, when we asked to test drive it, he said they just came in. I then asked if we could test drive one and schedule one for a test drive, he said no, not unless we were signing to buy it. Wow, what a wasted trip to visit this dealer, maybe it was because we were seniors, or I was a veteran, have no idea what, but to say we could not test drive a vehicle. Really seemed unprofessinal to us. We cannot recommend this dealership based on our experience. We were prepared to buy a Cross Sport, but we walked away buying nothing. My wife would not take here Passat SEL Diesel there for service, we do not want to be giving the run around again. This is our opinon, have a nice day. I also put in a complaint to the VW Customer Service. To think reply comment from Payne, I think my write up is a pretty good explananation as to what happened. No custormer sevice, in my opinion..

It is unfortunate that a $900 “required GPS fee” was the determining factor in not purchasing a vehicle from you. The contract specifically mentions “ This is not required for the purchase” but your dealership will not remove the fee.

I would say Poor Customer Service, Very Unpolite and Unfriendly, When i picked up my Vehicle from Service, it was not parked in the front and i Had to walked in between cars to get to mine when really Customer Service yall!! You guys can go an extra mile and bring it to the front when you know your customers on the Way and the cars ready.I have been to a lot of dealerships in a lot of Towns and never have experienced this Before.

They need to do this car dealership at a different location if not then bigger instead of being it all cramped. My other complaint is the Service department, my wife did her appointment a week ago and is behind 10 ppl with only one lady who said after 30 minutes that they werent doing appointments. Wow! One week before purchasing, my husband and I visited the dealership to test drive 2 vehicles. We feel so fortunate to have met Mr. Rey Garza, who assisted us. He was friendly and attentive to our situation. We were so comfortable, in fact, that we returned a week later with our children to test drive the same vehicles. Again, the customer service exceeded our expectations. While Mr. Garza was assisting another family, another VW associate worked with us. He was also very attentive, knowledgeable and courteous. Finally, Mr. Garza helped us to come to a decision and guided us through the process. He was knowledgeable and courteous and we are very happy with the customer service we were provided by Mr. Garza, the 2nd VW associate and the finance department. Outstanding service! I will never purchase a car on a Saturday, due to the dealership not being fully staffed. In a pandemic time, its not a good idea taking a dirty, test driving new car home. Vehicle not including all items bought like car mats. Dealer not offering any discounts or rebates. Overall not a good experience.

Service Advisor did an outstanding job. I do have some concerns of when I initially went on line to set up my appointment for the service. I was given a contact name of George Rivas. I think some things need to be updated on your system. I tried it again and was given the name of Matthew Mire. I did get a response this time and confirmation for my service time and date. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Thank You, I will be back!

Went to go get an oil change and I get a call back 8 hours later one of the service guys reversed into a palm tree, they then took 2 1/2 weeks to fix it and with no loaner vehicle, they did pay for the damages but I was left without a vehicle, I finally get my car out and now im having issues with a malfunction in the car, I have a bmw so they’re delicate when it comes to getting it wrecked. I would definitely like to talk to there supervisor because I pay a large payment for my car and for it to be messed up after service from them is not acceptable at all!!!

They’re also very sketchy, they didn’t tell us we owed money on the trade in when we asked multiple times if we did they insisted we didn’t. Now they’re saying we owe 6k. They didn’t want take responsibility for their mistakes

Trying to get a car service appointment is difficult, they don’t transfer you to the right department and gave me the run around and had a lady tell me that they will call me back to schedule a service appointment and never received a call, you can tell they don’t care about their service department and I promise If you buy from this place you’ll regret it for many reasons but one is trying to get service done on your vw here is stressful and difficult.

Made an appt for a simple oil change on my Dodge Ram truck, was asked for the make and model when scheduling my appt 3 days in advance. Arrived to my appt and was told by a service person that they do not service Dodge trucks there...??? Then why ask me for the make and model of the vehicle and schedule my appt at that location? Smh.

They absolutely tried to rip me off. I had a 3,000 trade in and they wanted 4 grand as a down-payment for a 7 grand car that they then wanted me to finance an additional 12 grand even though between the trade in and the down-payment that would have bought the car outright. I have good credit and spotless history. I was treated well in general but their businesses practices leave a lot to be desired.

Service is not the best here. The only reason I have been back here is because it is the only Volkswagen dealer in the area. Every single time I take my vehicle here you can tell the lube tech just doesn’t care about the job and rushes everything. They didn’t refill my washer fluid, left oil all over the engine plastic cover im not sure if they didn’t use a funnel. For the price of an oil change ($91) I wish they would at least do it right. I also had to take my F-150 for an oil change and usually the maintenance on that truck I do myself but I did not have time. Oil change for that one with tire rotation was ($61) and I feel they did a way better job of taking care of my vehicle

I want to start by saying that I really like my Passat, and I am happy that I purchased it. Nonetheless, it INFURIATED me that Payne has a practice of charging a disposition fee to its customers when buying a leased vehicle. Essentially, I had to pay a substantial fee for prepping the car to be sold back to me! This is a practice that is usually taken care of by most other dealers when buying a leased vehicle. I am truly disappointed that this is normal practice especially during this difficult time. However, I must also add that the employees were very nice and pleasant to deal with.

Brought my vehicle in for a bad alternator.When I came to pickup battery was drained, after starting, the headlights were on, and air conditioning was running full blast, radio also on.I can understand this for diagnostic reasons, but leaving on, not sure of the reasoning. As with the alternator defective, keeping a draw on the battery.I would have assumed that those items turned on would have been turned off after testing was done.before taking out of the shop and parked.

UPDATE: after leaving my review I received a phone call from a very nice woman to help resolve my concerns. I was able to take my car in for service first thing Saturday morning. Turns out I didn’t actually even need the service I had been emailed about. In any case, had my air filter changed and had fluids topped off. Was there for 45 minutes.Thank you for addressing my concerns!Please work on your customer service.I called to schedule service for Saturday (I work M-F like most individuals). I was told appointments are NOT available on Saturdays.Why are service appointments unavailable on weekends?When I called I was told to show up early as there were likely going to be “9 people here already” for the same service. In addition, no loaner cars are available for service visits. There was no mention of a car service to take me home for example, only that I could wait there in the facility.I will be in the market for a new car this year and will unlikely take my business here.

I went in to get a hitch installed, to receive the 40k mileage service, and to have a recall related to the catalytic converter repaired. At our request we were allowed to use a loaner vehicle. It was nice to have since it took exactly a full week (Wed to Wed) for all those issues to be addressed. I very much appreciate the gesture because, to my understanding it wasnt something they are required or even encouraged to offer. The cost of the 40k mile service is ridiculous ($600) and there is another at 50k miles that is about $500. I feel that is obscenely high, and was unaware of the cost when we purchased the vehicle (used). We are now considering trading it in due to that. The parts for the recall took almost a week to come in, and reaching someone to get answers on when we could expect the car to be done took an entire day of repeated calls from myself and my husband. I am completely unsatisfied with how the recall was handled. The only reason we found out about it was because the gentleman my husband spoke with to schedule the service mentioned it. A recall dealing with that type of part should have received much more attention in my opinion. When we dropped off the vehicle it took almost 2 hours, even though we had an appointment. Driving to Mission from Weslaco is inconvenient and another reason we may trade in the vehicle for another manufacturer that makes having service and repairs easier and more convenient. Burt Tamez was the man that we dealt with, and we were fairly pleased with his help, with the only exception being that it was impossible to reach him for updates. No one once bothered to contact us with any updates during the week they had the vehicle.
