I needed 2-sided copies of a 12 by 18 vintage, color brochure and the FedEx store was not able to help me. I next tried the nearby Ridgedale UPS store and the owner, Ben, was unbelievable. It took much time and many attempts to get the job done just right but he was extraordinarily diligent and patient and got the job done. It was not a big job for him, less than $10.00, but it was a big job to him in terms of the amount of effort and care he expended. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Stopped in to drop off an Amazon return on my lunch break (12:25pm or so) on a Thursday and no line. Friendly, helpful employee. Didn’t make me feel rushed or like I was asking stupid questions. Pleasant shipping experience.

I just mailed a package from this store (1755) today. They were very friendly and helpful. The store has been remodeled and looks great.

This place is a rip off. I needed a prepaid return label with envelope from St. Paul to Rochester MN and all I was offered was a 2 day air where it can be done in a ground transport with a shipping envelope. I was in rush and didnt want to discuss more. I asked for a print of 1 paper by sending an email to the store email and they charged me 2$ extra on top of $1.60 for print because they had to open their email and send a print to the printer.Other than my mail didnt get lost, nothing great in terms of good customer service.

I dont understand all of these bad reviews. I find the owner to be extremely helpful and nice.

I had a great experience with items that needed to be shipped. I was greeted and treated kindly. It was easy and simple, plus a clean organized store. I will go again.

Very courteous staff and owners. I ship large and/or irregular packages. They go out of their way, plus the extra mile to accommodate. Very friendly. Recycling offered is convenient. Excellent job of remembering their customers by name or mailbox number. Refreshing to have and receive such services. I sometimes setup scheduled notifications when expecting urgent packages. Been a customer for over 5 years.

I have to say, I like the new owners a lot! Ive been a customer for about 10 years and yes the previous owner was a titch hard to deal with. He was not accommodating but the new one really seems to like his customers. I would recommend this place.

This store is under new management since spring 2019. And oh what a remarkable and welcomed change. Ben, the new owner, is professional, pleasant and most accommodating in.serving his customers. He and his staff are easy to work with and most helpful. We are regulars now.We highly recommend this store.

I had to return a package to a seller due to a Paypal dispute (seller was a scammer and sent an item that wasnt what was purchased) and we had the pleasure of working with Ben. Ben was so friendly to work with!! The sellers address was invalid and he was able to help me document that and made sure that everything was documented and ready to go for my package dispute. He was just wonderful!!! My PayPal rep. was very happy to hear of a courier being so easy to work with and to document the invalid address. Thank you Ben!!

The new ownership must make a difference. After initially reading the reviews I was skeptical. John was extremely helpful and my experience was seamless.

When I moved to the area 5 years ago I went to this UPS store to ship a package and the extremely rude owner of this store charged me to use one piece of tape. I was in a hurry and I accepted this attitude and paid even though I thought he was out of line. Granted, I understand that over time it the cost of tape adds up but when you own a business like this, letting clients use tape should just be a small cost of doing business.After that experience I never went back up until a few days ago to mail a package back to Amazon (and yes I had it taped). Not only was the owner beyond rude from the moment I walked in, he also was not helpful. He got mad at me when I couldnt find a QR code so that he could print up my label (this is a common service for amazon returns). I told him my feelings about doing business with him and he yelled very loudly at me for me to get out of his store and to never come back. He also yelled at me this is all because the color of his skin. This in itself is beyond disgusting to accuse someone of this!I am so offended that he would speak like this and I was thankful that there was another employee in the store because he was scary.I got in my car and drove to the best UPS store which is located in Wayzata- totally out of the way but worth the great customer service.

The owner has always been nice and kind to me. I drop off packages all the time and ship there as well. I have never had a problem and will support this store.

This owner of this franchise is a very sweet man who works very hard. He is always very pleasant when I walk through the door. He takes his job seriously. Always very prompt with handling my shipping needs.

Paid to have replacement phone shipped overnight through UPS. Waited at work all day, checked online update. It stated delivery attempt made. Security checked ALL video footage and no one attempted delivery. Driver lied, no delivery was attempted. I work for a major corporation and the building is highly visible. Now I have to wait two more days with no recourse. Use Fed Ex better service

By far the worst UPS store experience Ive ever had. I was quoted a price to pack, ship, and insure a somewhat large item that was nearly 4 times the price of what it ended up costing me just down the road at the Office Depot, where ive had very friendly, helpful service. Do yourself a favor, go to the office depot down the road for your shipping needs, youll find better service and substantially better pricing on both shipping and packing materials.

I am the biggest UPS fan that there is .. even love the color brown but this store and the male employee today doesn’t know the first thing about customer service. He made me feel like he was doing me a favor to wait on me. Then he short with me a rude. One of the worst customer experiences ever!!!!!!!!!i took my packages and left in search of a better UPS store .. by the way I was there at 1 pm ., December 1.

I have not used this store, and after reading the reviews I will opt for a different store. I am a numbers guy and (on average) the large numbers of similar sounding complaints and low reviews serve to tell a story that is hard to deny. I looked at several ups store websites in my area to compare ratings and this Ridgedale store appears to be the worst by far. By comparison, for example, the golden valley store ratings are on the opposite (good) end of the spectrum. Using the review data, I would have to conclude that the odds of poor experience at the Ridgedale store would be high. The numbers tell the story. Just to be fair, considering that I have not actually used the Ridgedale store, I will give a 3 rating so as to not skew the score too much one way or the other, and (sadly) their low score slightly improves with my neutral score and is probably more than they deserve.

The employees are courteous enough, however, the prices are outrageous. I paid $17 to send a light-weight 5-inch box, I asked for their lowest price that had tracking. Also, no tracking number. Theres a reference number that suggests I can use it on a website but it doesnt accept reference numbers. Really disappointing and really frustrating. Not an experience I would like to repeat.

I agree with everybody else. I have never seen a rude peroson like this old dude. I think he is ready to retire. Very mean person not willing to help at all.

Ive been coming to the Ridgedale UPS for over 12 years--even before the current owner and didnt notice a reduction in service, if anything, improvement. Im at this store at least once a week and ALWAYS have courteous, professional service from the owner and employees. I have several other nearby options for shipping and other office needs, yet continue coming to this UPS. Coming as often as I do, I see plenty of the same faces whom have also been coming to this store for several years. I do notice new faces who expect cheaper-than-cheap prices and all sorts of free materials like boxes and tape and even free packaging! What?!?! Then go to the U. S. Post Office! The owner of this store, and UPS, are in business to make a profit. The owner is very intelligent, and courageous to have come to America from India.

I have been using this location for the past several months and have received great customer service every time I have made an order for my business. Very professional and helpful & I always know they are looking out for my best interest with my orders.

I came here to write a review and was not surprised to see all the other one stars. Man working was extremely rude. Guilt tripped me for not taping the box shut well enough, told me I should read the instructions better, his entire demeanor was belittling and rude. After I asked him to stop he pressed even harder, accusing me of waking up in a bad mood. Fine example of a man that shouldnt be working in customer service. I see the owner has an obsession with making excuses and responding to comments without apologizing. Save your breath with me, my friend. Learn to take criticism from your customers.

Went in for photo copies and services was very quick and friendly would recommend over the Fed ex store close by 10 times out if 10

Owner is a cheapass! Penny pincher. Awful experience I will never set foot in his store again! I brought a boxed iPhone with a return label to send back to T-Mobile. He wanted a dollar to tape the box closed! Ridiculousness! Every other ups store has tape guns sitting on the counter for customer use. Heck even the post office has that. Hey guy, you should really rethink your business strategy and improve your customer experience. Were not in India anymore!

Showed up before closing time. My phone said 4:59. Door was locked but associate was standing behind counter and the lights were on. Knocked and he just shook his head no at me. All I needed to do was drop off boxes. Then he comes outside on his way out the door and tells me I was lying about the time I arrived. I was at the store on 2/2/19. He should be fired.
