Great store. Good variety of footwear. The only thing is they should stock there footwear with more of the popular sizes. Not enough sizes.

Found 100 dollar dress shoes I wanted proceeded to wander around the store for 15 minutes looking for a place to check out? Found a register near the door finally no one there . Closed. Was told by another customer to go to juniors. 15 plus people in line...sorry not gonna do it. Get real . Left the shoes on the counter and walked out !

Found what I needed in 5 minutes. Check out took 30. Plan to spend most of your time in a long line to pay for the items you wish to purchase. Yes they were fully staffed but only had 2 registers open in the entire store...I asked!

Great sales for kids clothes. Adults not as great of sales, but still had some.

My wife is shopping for a dress to wear to a wedding. The dressing rooms are closed. Im sure its due to Covid but no dressing room = 1 star

Wow. What customer service. My girlfriend ask if these are on sale. half of the Ambrielle collection has buy 1 get 1 free. This did not have it. this was on top. So we asked. the lady said i dont know. what does the sign say. So we did not look at the rack for her.

This place is a mess and a maze. It is hard to locate what you are shopping for. But, when you do find the location it is so disorganized it makes it difficult to shop. Its even a challenge to find the right price for what youre buying. Staff is nice when you locate them. Robert, the Manager, was the only one able to help me with a common sense transaction that the Customer Service Department was incapable of figuring out.

Got lots of sales this weekend found some cool stuff though not what I was looking for.

Ridiculously understaffed. No workers to help on the floor. Fitting rooms all closed. So we bought multiple sizes of everything & will have to return stuff. And a very long wait at the checkouts as well.

I love the Optical department.

Mens shoes had and cap clearance with sign saying 60 to 80% off however the tags did not reflect that. When asking the cashier she had no clue why the sign on the rack didnt reflect ANY of the shoes. She seemed to care less. We left. Good luck finding anyone to help unless you plan to wait behind 3 customers are cashing out.

I use to shop here often. The Pandemic has caused the store to lose customers and dwindling stock. The remaining Associates are very friendly. But there are usually only 3 cashiers for the entire store that creates long lines. Displays are often messy. Many good sales but only if you have coupons. Disappointing.

Its not bad...you hae to set expectations. You will probably find lots of good deals, but do not expect upscale. Sephora is here on a smaller scale so that is a plus.

Got some winter clothes on sale, Herb was the checkout clerk and was very nice. I ha e been shopping at this JCPenneys for over 40 years and I just cant walk away.

Just returned some bras I ordered onlineTried to find some instore. They wont help with fittings due to Covid19. So sad. The basement looked pretty sparseIts pretty sad. Nothing is the same anymore.

Everything was messy and felt a little dirty. Everything was marked up to mark it down. $50.00 for one pillow case that isnt even a high thread count? Thats a no for me.

Back in August I bought items and was able to checkout in Sephora. When I went there yesterday the employees in the Sephora department told me I couldnt checkout there because they are Sephora and not JCPenneys which I told them made no sense since I was able to checkout there back in August. Honestly I dont think that they wanted to work because all they where doing was talking to each other and not paying any attention to the customers that where there.

Looked like a garage sale.

Return area was quick and easy. Covid quiet is sad for retail business though.

Decent place with nice clothes but dont expect any coupons to work with anything you like. They added a new promotion that works if you have Pokémon Go. I bring my items to the register and show the cashier my Pokémon and the sign and she said she doesnt know anything about that. HOW CAN YOU SAY Ask associates for details AND THE ASSOCIATES DONT KNOW ANYTHING Ill post a pic of the discount for proof of this idiotic promo.

Had a wonderful experience at the salon! Kathy gave me a manicure, pedicure and eyebrow wax. She was personable, professional and made me feel welcome. I highly recommend this location and Kathy!

Don’t appreciate shopping there and then being completely hounded while checking out to get a JC Penney charge card - won’t go back because of it. The answer is still a no Noreen at Ridgedale. Amazon, more business for you!

Attempted to purchase some things. First I found some shoes, but for some reason my size, and only my size was on clearance, and the clearance price was $27 more than the sale price for the other sizes. Herb, the sales associate confirmed the price, and when I asked why, he said he didnt know, but there was nothing he could do about it and no one he could call. Fine, I guess. I then attempted to buy two shirts with a gift card I had received from work. Herb said he had never seen a gift card like it and it couldnt be entered in the system. I have used gift cards like this multiple times. I again asked if he could call someone to help him, and he told me I would need to go to customer service. When I went down there there was, of course, a long line. I want JC Penney to stick around, but I totally understand why the are having problems if this is the service they are giving.

They took advantage of my friend who is grieving the loss of her partner- they charged her CC an extra $2100 for a ring replacement, when she was quoted $500. Obviously money is tight right now for her and this is the last thing she needs. JC penny corporate told her to call tomorrow, when she is working. They completely have no regard for their customers and I am appalled at the lack of customer service and integrity.

A lot of the registers are closed during coronavirus and it is very hard to find help!

Ive been to this JC Penney twice for their photo studio. The first visit was during the holidays. We had a large group and it felt rushed and stressed. I shouldve had a bit more gumption and said what I wanted, but with only 15 minutes per session, I left it up to the photographer to arrange us so we got all the images we wanted. She did great with the size of the group and the amount of time allotted, but we didnt get some of the images I had dreamt about because I didnt speak up. The second time, we were getting pics of my daughter by herself, so there was a lot more time for cute pics in different poses. Same photographer and better experience. Will definitely be going back.

Had a handful of items ready to try on to walk around to not find a dressing room open. Was told it was closed. I dropped all my clothes and walked out.Who buys clothes without trying them on?? Not me. Took my business to Macys.

I stopped in today to look for pants. I have to have king size that no one carries. To my surprise they had them. I asked the associate Sam if I could use the dressing room since there was no attendant and I had a bag with me from another store. He said yes go ahead. They fit so Sam was ringing up my products but also told me of another special they had on shirts so he increased his sale. Sam has outstanding customer service that is seldom found in retail. Sam made this shopping experience a pleasant experience for me. Way to go Sam and I hope next time I shop at this location that Sam is working.

They have clothes for everyone!! I got jeans, leggings, t-shirts, long sleeves, and sweatshirts! The sizes are on point and fit well! I recommend going here!!

I checked Penney s first to see if they had a black blazer and pants and they had just the right thing.

Kathe is just the best in the hair salon! She is experienced and one of the best people Ive gone to to get my hair worked on!!

They have a good selection at good prices. The people are generally nice except for an old mean guy in appliances I believe is named Jim. He was so mean to one of his coworkers as she asked him to spell her so she could take a break.

There is a counter at the front that says ‘customer service .’ I stood in line 15 minutes to return one thing, then was told returns are handles in the back, where I had to wait in line again! They need more people working and better communication about returns.

Went in for a sport coat, shirt, and tie. Wondered the mens section for a good 45 minutes and nobody ask me if they could help me. Even though they asked every other person if they did.Maybe I need to dress more fancy than blue jeans, sweatshirt, and a MN Twins jacket??

High prices with tired offers of buy 2 discounts. Shopping here brings on the whish that they would try harder.

The carpet floor in the womens shoes section was wet and my socks got ruined, we waited 15 minutes for a manager who never showed up and had an employee tell us there was nothing she could do to help track a manager down and suggested I walk to another section without shoes, again, to have them page, again, for a manager. The woman at jewelry and also the one who checked us out were very nice and apologetic about the inconvenience (and ruined socks and missing manager), but extremely frustrated that the manager never showed up and that one worker who refused to even try to help (and that I had to ask my friend to buy me new socks).

Little pricey for the quality in my opinion as a male in their early 30s who prefer to dress for comfort. Feel that I can get better quality clothing at The Gap and Old Navy.

Went to check out waited at the register. Seen someone thought it might be someone who works here she walked our way slowly no eye contact. Which turns out it was the cashier the one I seen walking over. She seems not to like her job.

Unfortunately I have been to this pennys location, and its a utter disaster!, dirty, dark, and outdated. Had a issue with a item,asked to talk to the store manager. Nickel the store manager was rude, condescending, and just flat out unpleasant. I feel bad for the employees that work under her. Completely seems like a bully boss. Pennys is going under because of BAD MANAGEMENT and mistreatment of good employees!.

Went just before closing on a Sunday. It was nice and clean. Not alot of people but I figure was because of closing time. Could have been more clear where the check outs were.

The two ladies who assisted me were knowledgeable and courteous.
