I do ask that in the future you let me know you put a password on my device, I understand why, and that we are humans, it was easily guessable but I was selling it and during the transaction had worries ahaha. My boyfriend was working outside and got some debris is his phone so that the port was blocked and it wouldn’t charge. I stopped in the Device Pitstop and they grabbed some tweezers and got the debris out right then and there! Super nice guys and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. They’re back open for business starting today so go check them out!

Phenomenal customer service with an extremely friendly staff. I asked for some pretty candid and direct advice on what used Laptop was best for what I was trying to do, I was looking for a no frills answer, and was given amazing help. They showed me 3 options that fit what I was looking for at three different price points, with no high pressure sales on needing to go with the most expensive one, just the one that fit my needs. I have since purchased two laptops here, and will only get any future laptop repair and service done here!(Side note: One laptop was for someone else)

Device Pitstop Minnetonka helped us understand what needed to be done and gave us exactly the service we needed, promptly, at a fair price. Very nice people! Had my computer serviced there a few times and have not been let down plus its reasonably priced. I get it can take some time to get parts in but I definitely did not mind waiting.

I stopped in today for the second time this month. These guys are just great! They are helpful and honest and do a great job explaining everything. Today the fellow that helped me was Dan (Danny) and he was so great to chat with. He answered all my questions and helped me set up the phone I bought too. So helpful. Unfortunately Ive had to make a visit twice here. Both times however, Ive had a good experience. It was about a 2 hour turnaround the first time because I didnt make an appointment. Biggest scam ever... brought in my laptop and now they are closed, they “recycled everything” and lost my $2k laptop!!!

Love this place. Good place to find reasonably priced phones that are used. They also offer a screen protector package --good for the life of the phone--which is super great. And the guys are so nice, helpful, quick, and efficient every time I go in. Two thumbs up!

These guys are fabulous! We took one computer there after 2 other places had worked on it. They not only found the simple fix, but charged us less than half of what the other places had! We have also bought 2 used computers from them in the last 4-5 years at great prices and have been very happy with both of them. They really know their stuff and are wonderful to work with.

The staff here were very helpful. I needed a new computer and was able to find one quickly. They were also able to help my aunt immediately with a few computer issues without going through the whole repair process. Small, local, friendly staff and it all helps save the environment...and keep cash in your wallet. My only complaint would be that the return policy is pretty rigid on all products, e.g., no option to return for full refund even on cords or bags.

Excellent and reliable repair service. Had initially replaced defective laptop touch screen. Later, replaced touch screen failed, but Device Pitstop ordered and installed replacement screen quickly without any questions asked and at no additional cost. Very satisfied. Would use Devise Pitstop again in a heart beat.

The staff was very helpful. They diagnosed the issue right away and even were able to test with a part that was in the store prior to ordering it for my phone. The experience was wonderful and they were able to save me a big chunk of change by not having to buy a new phone!

The guys here are great! Personable and fast! We needed money in a pinch, due to a fraud issue with our bank. When we brought our drawerful of old devices and explained the situation, Device Pitstop said they are backed-up and it will take up to 48 hours to get through the devices but called us two hours later with a quote and cash ready for us! Awesome, will recommend to everyone we know!

I Went in to get my i phone speaker fixed which they said they completed and tested. When I made a call later that day, the person on the other line said it was muffled which was the same issue as before. I could not get back to the store for a few days so I just used my speaker phone as I was doing previous to the fix. Today I came back and the guy that fixed it was off. So another worker - Adam tried to tell me it worked when I left the store as he tested it. I said it may have when I left but as soon as I made a call it did not. Now I was fine waiting for the same guy to work on it again and would have left and waited no problem but Adam was extremely rude and unprofessional. I paid 60 dollars which was fine. Even if they would have been polite and just said oh sorry your phone is not working lets try and fix the issue or lets wait till the repair guy is back Sunday...I would have been fine with that. Nope he effectively told me I was lying and its not under warranty anymore. I would not recommend going to this place as they are not reasonable and seem not to care about customer service. Very disappointed with how I was treated. The outcome may have been the same-bad phone but how Adam handled it was horrible. For that I would not recommend this place.

Unbelievable! My laptop screen was flickering to the point of being unusable. Other places wanted to charge $500+. Device Pitstop estimated far lower and ultimately they came in lower than their estimate. They actually had a replacement screen on hand; what luck!!? They were fun and still fully professional. I have officially found my go-to resource for all my device repair needs.

Best buy recommended this store to help me fix the broken glass on my iPhone. I went into the store and was instantly sure I was at the right place - best customer service hands down. My phone was repaired within a couple of hours and was good as new.

I brought my phone in because it wouldnt charge. They told me it was just clogged with lint, cleaned it out and sent me on my way at no cost. I plugged it in and it worked great. They could have easily told me that the charging house needed to be replaced and I would have went along with it but their honesty and integrity won them a customer moving forward. Ill bring all of my electronics to them from now on.

These guys are super friendly and knowledgeable. They sold me an iPhone at a great price and when I broke that one made me a killer deal on an iPhone 6.... And fixed the screen on that one super fast when I dropped that one. Now I have a case and insurance! These guys are the place to go for all your device needs!

I had a hard drive that was going bad on a Sunday, I was leaving on a business trip Monday morning, and I could not risk my computer not working while out of town. The guys at Device Pitstop knew exactly what to do. I dropped off my laptop Sunday morning and by early afternoon it was working perfectly. I bought a used AMD dual-core desktop type of PC with monitor around 4-13-18 and am very satisfied with the price, performance and service. The people on duty were very friendly and helpful and let me test as much as I desired. They helped me carry out the new equipment and bring my old computer for recycling.P.S. I plan on doing all of my accessory and maintenance activity with them and I am telling all of my friends about this great place to do their personal computer related maintenance and shopping.

I brought in my Samsung Galaxy S8 in for a second opinion. I took it to another repair shop that basically wouldnt help me. When I brought it, they did a through examination of the phone to identify the problem. The person who analyzed it gave me all the options as to whether or not it was worth it to fix the phone or buy another phone.I ended up paying to fix the phone. Everyone here was incredibly helpful and it was the best customer service I received from any tech repair shop.I will most certainly come back and hope others come to visit this shop too.

Steve and Tyler were the techs I had direct contact with. I had heard this was a great place to bring my computer which quit working. Not only did they get it working again, they were able to retrieve all of my previous data and update everything! Reasonably priced to boot!

You can find great deals on older equipment. Helpful staff they can fix just about anything. As for mobile payments Samsung pay Works Apple and Android pay do not.

Highly recommend Device Pitstop!! I dealt with Rick & Robert, and they were so nice, and so helpful. Not to mention, FAST! I came in to the store kind of close to closing time with my sons iphone with a shattered screen. Knowing how important a phone is to a teenager, they got started right away and replaced the glass before closing!!

A little over a month ago, we visited Device Pitstop in Minnetonka to replace the battery in my Samsung S7. They were very professional, courteous, affordable and the turn around time was even faster than they quoted us. The new battery lasted 2-3 times longer than my worn out, replaced battery as expected and a month later, it is still lasting well.

The folks at Device Pitstop are great. They were quick, affordable and did a great job on swaping my iphone battery. I just cracked my screen, they are my go to spot because its 10x as fast as an apple store.

I had a really old McBook Pro that died. I kept sinking money into it and brought it to Pitstop Device knowing my computer was finished. They confirmed my computers motherboard had died but what I was happy about is they weee able to retrieve a couple thousand photos from it and that’s what mattered.

Had an old Imac with defective graphics card. Device Pitstop quickly diagnosed the problem and adviced against replacement because of known issues with this Mac.They offered me acceptable alternatives including updating to newer models. Opted for a used but newer Imac with which I am very satisfied. Service was the best, and charges for everything quite reasonable. Highly recommend Device Pitstop for computer repairs or sales.

Positive experience in repairing our computer, but we ended up removing the bit defender security software that DP recommended to us. We found it too slow and got too many hangs. Bit Defender was also annoying to use and does not work as well as Webroot.

Twice I’ve come in for help: once for a damaged charger and once for a water damaged phone. Got a replacement charger for free, no questions asked. Water damaged phone had a piece of rice stuck in the spot where the charger goes. Three minute fix to get the rice out and the phone powered up once the charger was plugged in. All for a smile and an invitation to visit the store again. I will definitely be coming back!

Device Pitstop is the BEST place to get your phone fixed. I used a GroupOn and pretty much got my phone totally refurbished with a new screen, LCD frame, and battery for $60. Its works amazing! I also bought a life-time warranty charger for only $15. If ever it stops working they will replace it. Same with the glass protector. I will definitely go back if I ever need something (computer, phone, ipad) fixed.

I visited the Minnetonka Device Pitstop yesterday to get a phone screen protective glass cover affixed. They do this with absolute surgical precision. In between the last time I had it done there and yesterday, I had visited an ATT store with their brand (AT&T) screen that Id bought at an authorized distributor store, Tues. Morning - the staff at the Highland Park AT&T was dismissive with the screen (a lot of bubbles, I could have done that) and more focused on trying to sell me a Direct TV subscription, so, just saying...how are these bigger companies surviving with stores like Device Pitstop around? Device Pitstop is boutique-like in its attention and care. I know for a fact their prices and quality are very good meaning if you can save a few bucks across town, the difference is incidental and not worth the gas to get there. They have a great selection of reliable used merchandise and know the strengths and weaknesses and life expectancies of all the technology they sell which is probably our biggest concern when buying used. Andrew was wonderful and so engaged.

I recently had my laptop fixed at Device Pitstop in Minnetonka. My son ruined my hard drive so it needed to be replaced. I dropped it off around noon on a Saturday and it was finished around noon two days later. They had to reload the operating system and I felt like I had a new laptop! It was upgraded and ready to go! They also cleaned my laptop which made my experience even better! I highly recommend Device Pitstop over the other guys. The price was reasonable too!

I went in and got my screen replaced along with the loud speaker. Screen has worked fine but the loud speaker went out 2 days later. Dont know if it was a faulty part or not connected properly.

Was promised a check mailed to me. Got the envelope but envelope was empty. Called store, manager said whoops. Guess I forgot. They wouldnt let me come to store to get the check, he said they had to mail it out. So here I sit, STILL waiting. Would NOT recommend this place for business. Go elsewhere.

Great experience and dedication to service. I originally brought in my HP desktop that was acting up, when I went to use my laptop to replace it, it started acting up, too. Not only did they get the desktop back working for a very reasonable price, Adam went out his way to help me figure out my laptop problems, at no charge. Having the same group of guys buying and selling devices and servicing them is miles ahead of the service black hole at those other places.
