Worst store. UPS has Simple Rate, a flat rate service. This store however refused to acknowledge that and charged me the regular rate. Even after having them talking to their own customer service on my phone, they refused to change their incorrect billing!!! Even worse, when I demanded to get back my package, they refused and to tried to stall so that it can be picked up by their pickup truck. Will not come back.
I’m only leaving this review because Brianna (or something close, I forgot to ask and I only caught a glimpse of her name tag, but it was Sunday afternoon) was the most patient angel in the universe. I was in the store for at least an hour and a half (if not two) trying to figure out how to print art print files that I downloaded from Etsy, that were for nieces 13th birthday that I needed immediately, and I waited until the last minute to tackle this endeavor because apparently I work best under pressure (I remember doing this also during college when my paper was due in the morning), but I was losing patience with myself trying to get these files to her in the easiest way and nothing was working and I just kept googling how to do this task (trust me, this was completely all me not knowing how to use my iPhone properly) and she just kept being rad and unflustered with me, but not only that, the store was BUSY, because she was the only one working and I just kept trying different things while I stood aside so she could take care of other customers, and when I finally figured out what needed to be done to let them print on her end, she said “I was gone for a week and there’s a new system and I’m still trying to figure it out.”Like, SO NICE, and taking some of the blame so I didn’t feel like such a boomer not knowing how to work the technology (Gen X! Lol).She was calm and unflappably professional with everyone who came in today. Including me. Especially me. Me holding up the line for way too long at least twice.Give that girl a hefty raise.♥️
They put me on hold for 10 minutes when I could have asked and had my question answered in 5 seconds. Their customer service is atrocious.
I was charged $2.00 to print one piece of paper, reasoning was for using computer.Employee was sniffling and very clearly ill, there was no glass up to protect myself or him in case of Covid contact.Very disappointing experience and I will go out of my way to find mom and pop shops to print which I should have done in the first place.
I had been once before so this is why I’m giving two stores, also one employee was seen being helpful but they helped about 4 people in the 10 min i was outside in line in freezing temps just to turn in my COVID test. Two ladies came in and dropped theirs in a box after walking up to an employee and asking where to put their bags. I said loudly “Some signage would be nice” but I’m also making this review as a reminder! The holidays are upon us and many people are shipping things but there was no sense of urgency when helping people with a full line. I’ve worked customer service for 7 years and I know this is just bad service! Direct people with COVID tests to walk inside, drop their bag off and leave. We could have COVID and could get sicker outside in freezing temps!

The UPS off of New Brighton Blvd provides wonderful customer service. The workers have always been very friendly at this location. Last week an employee went above and beyond to help me with my package. I really appreciated her help. Thanks!
Went there at 9am. The lights came on in the back of the store but the clerk went in the back instead of opening the doors. What???Luckily theres a post office just around the corner and they were happy to serve me.
Anxiety inducing nightmare:I’m changing my review to one star since the employee marked the package type wrong so it got bounced back. The people at the store should know how to manage a shipment to Canada. They also called and left a message on the destination phone number after I specified that they should call my cellphone. Used COVID as an excuse for why they couldn’t just give me my stuff back and refund me. This has now consumed about four hours of my time. The guy I’m working with now, Cesar, sounds like he’s trying to be helpful, but I have been getting different information from him and a contact with the Canadian customs branch.Original review: The employee who helped me, Van was extremely helpful and pleasant. I take off one star for business practices: charging to re-tape a box on a over $500 bill. Also, the tool on the UPS website is wildly misleading as a way to estimate prices. I do understand that the stores are franchises, but a 40% increase between the amount quoted on the website and the charge at the store is a lot.
Had an unpleasant experience with one of the staff, Van. When I asked him to reprocess the shipment with payment cancellation, he sighed more than ten times in a minute. I could understand him annoying about that if there was a long queue line. At that time, however, there was no customers besides me. I believe the customer service could be improved better.
Had a very poor experience with Ryley (sp.?) today, would be nice if the staff was more friendly/helpful. I understand its a franchised store, but UPS name is still on it so I would expect a little better.

I requested 2 pictures to be enlarged for a funeral. They told me it would be ready the next day. I called on the next day to check the status and was told that they didnt have time to do it yet. I told them that I would be in @ 8 am when they open the next day to pick it up and they said ok. When I went to get it, it wasnt ready. It took them 10 min to print 1. By then I was running late so I didnt get my pictures for the funeral. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Dont recommend them for prints or enlargements!
Cesar and Ryan are the best UPS store employees Ive ever dealt with! Very friendly and professional. They where a huge help to me on a day that was very stressful and hectic. They were very patient and friendly towards me and all the other costumers there while I was filling out my documents.
Everyone was very helpful and ensured that my print job was in my hands as soon as possible! A wonderful experience. 🙂
Excessive price gouging for large items. $150 to ship something that was quoted online for less than $50.
I was in here last year (I no longer live in MN), since I was desperate to find a place that would actually ship a large painting for me. I meant to write a review back then, but never got to it. The guy packed my painting extremely well - I was amazed that it made it to me in Seattle without any damage. I now have another painting that got left behind in MN that I need to ship.... and I am desperate to know if that man still works there!!!!
Terrible experience. Took forever to sign up for a mailbox. The employees clearly did not have a clue how to do their job. I paid for 3 months service then less than 2 weeks after getting my box which I hadnt used the service yet I had to cancel because of family medical emergency came up and had to move. I asked if I could possibly get a partial refund. They were very short with me and said no. Even if the policy states no refunds there should be a few exceptions. I will never do business with any UPS services again and would not recommend using them.
These folks are extremely kind, considerate, helpful, and bent over backwards to help us. They even went and got a special color paper for our project. They stayed open later to help us, and worked really hard to get what we needed done. They are friendly, and very sweet! The items that we were shipping were packed very well, and with extreme care. The store is clean, and well-organized. I have not felt so well taken care of by a retail establishment in a very, very long time. I appreciate all that they did, and I will be back!
Called the store to ask about a package that’s supposed to be delivered today. The guy didn’t even ask for the tracking and told me I’ll get it a week from today. When I didn’t want the customer service number he tried to give me he hung up in my face.

Staff are friendly and helpful and this locations hours are convenient since theyre open much later than the post office next door, but their prices are exponentially higher. Was quoted pennies short of $400 to ship a package, USPS did it for less than $60.tl;dr they have convenient hours, but the prices are ridiculously high.
I was impressed by how much interest the staff had in my specific shipment. It was a high value product return, and they did everything they could to help me feel comfortable with the process. Including offering themselves up for a phone call after the packages were picked up.
Called 4 times, kept on puuting me on hold for long periods of time! Not worth dealing with... go somewhere else for your printing needs

Sandeep Shah and Eric made my day. I was offered assistance the second I stepped foot in the store, and they were both attentive, intelligent, kind, resourceful and amiable. If only customer service attained this level each and every time in a retail setting. I was shipping a computer to San Mateo, California. They handled everything with professionalism and courtesy. If I could authorize a raise for these two, I would. UPS should recognize their abilities as leaders and members of their corporation.
Called to give a heads up that I would be bringing in about 10 people to complete fingerprinting in a few days because that is what the website told me to do. Was told by an employee that I was not allowed to do so and that I could only do that if I brought 4 people in at a time. Employee refused to work with me to try to come up with a solution and said I would not be able to bring in 10 people at any UPS because they all had the same policy. I called the Roseville location and they accommodated me right away and said it would be no problem. Some employees may need retraining on customer service and problem-solving skills rather than just telling a customer no flat out.
Went in for printing services. Young man was very cooperative and helpful, The price was right, also. Will return to Quarry UPS Store.
My experience here was wonderful. The employees were very helpful and gave me great suggestions on different packaging and shipping options. Not only that but I had brought a drop off package that day as well and didnt have the label attached or the box sealed. When I gave it to them, they took care of it instantly and gave me a receipt proving that I dropped it off. No charge! Will come here again in the near future.
After a half dozen visits...flawless service.Printing flyers, printing gift-cards and shipping un-boxed loose computer parts. All done effortlessly by the staff or the owners. Every time I have used the store I am in and out without any worries. I have used other copy and shipping stores in town and never had the same consistent good experience I have at this store.
Contrary to the negative responses to this store, I had an excellent experience. As an inexperienced package returner, I had my packages in boxes not yet taped up and return paperwork in hand. Andrew was very helpful by getting my info as well as the return addressee info and I had no need to fill out the request sheet that normally goes with shipping out packages because he did this for me on his computer. So after packaging and pricing the packages he still gave the option to either ship with his store or go elsewhere... So I decided to stick with them and ship from there. So I would like to send out a huge THANK YOU!!!! For all your help and giving me options. Its nice to have respectable and courteous people in this store.

This UPS store changed management (and ownership, I believe) several months ago. Its gone from being the worst UPS store--by far--that Id ever experienced to one of the best. The negative reviews date from prior to the change.Now, I find the staff to be unfailingly efficient, courteous, and friendly, even when the store is busy. Refreshing to see small business at its best.
Andrew and Brett were incredibly helpful. Andrew deserves a raise for his customer service and vast knowledge of UPS products. I will be coming back any time I have printing or mailing needs.

Worst service I have ever received. I had brought in two separate return and they put the product in one box. She was told it was two separate and she sent them together. I was told they cant find the return at amazon. UPS is blaming amazon when it was clearly their fault.
I have received nothing but GREAT service at this store. I needed some items printed and originally went to OfficeMax at the Quarry. Despite their online promise, they were unable to fulfill the order timely. I went over to the UPS store as a 2nd choice, but they will be my number one for printing needs in the future. Their customer service is excellent, and they worked after hours on my project, and allowed me to pick it up before the store opened to meet my deadline. Cannot rate them highly enough!

This is my neighborhood UPS and theyve always been really helpful and easy to work with - Ive never had a negative experience there.
Had a rough start to my experience, which essentially stemmed from an honest and simple mistake. When I called to try and find a resolution, the store manager went way out of her way to resolve the issue and they totally redeemed their reputation in my mind. I get that mistakes happen, and its a show of character as to how you respond to these kind of situations. They stepped up. Thank you!

I used to like this place, but not after my experience today. I went in to get fingerprinted, and was told that was only done 10-4. (It was 4:45pm.) As I was leaving I muttered that my info sheet didnt say anything about the times, and the girl behind the counter pipes in, Yes, it does. I tell her it doesnt on the sheet I was given, but she insists it does. To double-check I pull the info up, sure enough, doesnt say that. When I show it to her she says, it says so on the website, and I cant be responsible for what your agency gives you. Then why argue with the customer about it? Whatever happened to Im sorry for the inconvenience, and leave it at that?
Rude, terrible, unhelpful. Wouldnt even let me quickly repackage what I was shipping into the box I had just bought from them. Told me I had to leave the store to repackage. I was the only person in the store. Its worth the trip to the Roseville location if you want to be treated like a human being. Also, if you dont need packaging, just go directly to the UPS main location on Broadway. They are great!

I always bring my packages (ahem, Amazon returns) here. The other day I came to the door carrying all of the packages in which I should have made 2 trips and the phenomenal worker came and opened the door and took all the packages from me. This was not the only time the staff has been wonderful.

When the package I sent wasnt delivered overnight, they assured me a refund was in the mail. It never came, I followed up 3 times, and it still never came. I should have just disputed the charge.
DO not use this locations mail boxes if you intend to receive packages. This particular site elects to add on storage fees if you do not pick up your package within 2 business days. That does not sound too bad until you realize that they consider Saturday a business day and also realize that they close every night between 4 and 7 so by the time you are off work it is too late to pick up your packages. I switched to the location of Fairview Ave and HWY 36 in Roseville because they do not have these extra fees.Also in case you are not aware all UPS stores charge more than UPS dot com or an actual UPS hub. They have hefty processing fees so that they can earn their cut.

Called a day after a package was supposed to arrive and was told that it would arrive on that day (1 day late, okay..). Waited another 2 days and called again only to be told it was mistakenly sent to California (seriously??) and wouldnt arrive for pickup until a week later. This is a fragile package. $100 says it will arrive completely destroyed, if it arrives at all.

The staff are not very knowledgable. Go to the Roseville location a few miles away. Much more professional, and the workers know what they are doing...they even have better hours.

I called to find out if they could notarize my papers &the women that answered the phone said yes we can do that.I went there 1hr later & she told me the person that does thenotarizing left & she has no idea when he would be back.She then told me i should have come right away! Talk about rude!She did not say sorry or anything. She never told me on the phone come rightnow cause the notary is leaving.
The young man who waited on me was very polite and helpful.. Ill be going back there if I need to shp anything in the future..
When I came in here to do an Amazon return, the staff basically ignored me so they could small talk about how much they hate Minnesota and then taped someones package for free immediately after I purchased tape to do the same thing. The whole thing was embarrassingly unprofessional.
Big sign that says Notary in the window, though there was no one staffed to do so. I took their pen on accident, Im not sorry.
The staff have no clue about how to print out a job following the most basic guidelines and then they are unapologetic about giving up on it! No satisfaction.

Was told they would check on a package that they had told me when purchasing that they put insurance on, apparently they did not do that. I called a couple months ago and the person I talked to was very rude and then I’m assuming after he talked to his mananger or a higher up called back saying that they would open up a lost package case for me and if I did not receive compensation from USPS that UPS would compensate me. Haven’t received a call back, email, or any response since from them. I want the $60 I spent on shipping back since it was promised to me but they are too cheap of a company to refund customers when the mess up was on their end since their employee told me he had put insurance on the package and another employee said that I would receive compensation for the package going missing. Give me my money back.
