The agent that helped us was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He helped us even though he didnt have to because we showed up right at closing time. The facility was clean and secure.

Im giving it one star only because they broke my contract. In my contract I signed I can access my unit 24-hours. Now I can only access from 6am to 10 p.m. I think this is BS. Im paying $184 only because of the 24-hour access clearly the only reason why I rent a unit. Lets be honest theres no heat. Theres no lighting in the units you cant plug in an extension cord and have put light in the unit for $184 the only thing that was good about it was the 24-hour access. Im very disappointed and if anyone knows of any other storage unit that has 24-hour access let me know please thank you.

The staff are very helpful, personable, and professional. The place is clean and secure. I was also able to rent a U-haul truck to help with my move as well. Very competitive pricing doesnt hurt neither.

I rented a storage unit a few months ago and have been very pleased with it. Its very clean and organized, has 24 hour access and is well lit. The security is adequate and someone is available to help during business hours if needed. I would definitely recommend Acorn Storage on Lyndale Ave N for storage needs.Prices are reasonable for location.

Oops. This place was one of the first built acorns..certainly an amazing deal for units in which you plan to store things that you would essentially store in a clean garage. Super cheap for large units. Just no climate control as you would find in the newer facilities. The manager was super cool and chill too. 24 hour access is what had me sold. Dont really like time restrictions on my belongings ha

Needed space for a month during a bedroom remodel. The staff was very helpful in deciding what size unit I would need and they gave me the lock for free! I highly recommend Acorn Mini Storage!

I would give no stars if I could, I drove over n hour with my truck and trailer to get there and called the entire way and no one answered! Than I got there at 6:01pm and they wereClosed but heather the employee was still there so I asked why they don’t answer the phone? She straight up lied saying she did and couldn’t hear me!!! How can u answer when it went to voicemail every single time?!?!? I left 3 messages for over an hour time period and still no one answered or called me back, horrible customer service! Heather should be fired in my opinion! I have witnesses that will also state they never picked up the phone when I kept calling and left messages... shame on u for lieing to customers!

I was leaving acorn mini storage and I gave my 10 day notice...I gave them the notice on the 10th and was out by the 13th It’s been weeks sinse the refunded me and when they did I was only refunded 26 keep in mind I pay 163 dollars for the storage I asked them why they only refunded me 26 dollars when I was out the storage on the 13th they told me straight up that they continue to charge me for a empty storage from the 14th-21st I’m like why if I was out of the 13th I gave them a 10 day notice and was out the 3rd day of the notice so why was I still getting charged...they couldn’t answer me and so I went to corporate which told me the exact same thing and that she “couldn’t do anything about it I just have to deal with it” I WILL NEVER IN LIFE USE THIS STORAGE AGAIN!!!!! Not even if my life depended on it and NEVER WILL I RECOMMEND THIS STORAGE TO ANYBODY !!!! The staff and the corporate are very disrespectful.

Welp... I wont be going here for my storage or moving needs... Wow talk about a lackadaisical response to a Valid complaint..!! In fact, even if this person just made this up out of the blue I would still have the same opinion!!!I dont know if I could even call it a response because its more like an auto response from this company.. Life sometimes presents certain unavoidable inconviences .. This is not a perfect world!!!.. flat tire, car accident....but- in any event -NO Customer Service person/Agent should ever yell or scream at or call multiple times (harass) a customer!! It sounds like she kept good communication and deserved a better response from this company... Im sure Im not the only one that feels this way...So, if youre reading this said Owner of this company... I am just 1 example of the dollars you are losing as a direct result of your response to this rating... I am currently in need of a Large truck, Trailer, and Storage....but will not step a toe near your company.. (Cha Ching) Maybe next time you wont take your ratings so Lackadaisically.. and maybe take a just bit more pride in yourself and your company... Provide a level of Customer Service that normal Customers expect!!! How about try this... Always treat people the way you would like to be treated..thatd be a good start..

Jodi was so rude ! I will never ever ever get a Uhual from this location. Actually I will never rent a Uhual again, period. I will find other alternatives for me and my family to move. I got off work at 11:15 drive from Hopkins to Brooklyn center to help my family finish moving We finished moving around 4:27am went to sleep had to return the Uhual at 9am -- we got lost on our way to this location coming from Minnetonka. While Im using my gps Sarah calls me I informed her I was lost and currently using the gps. The lady insisted to give me directions via phone than using my gps! Mind you I have cars all behind me and in front of me with my 1 year old upset in the back. She gave me the address (that I was already aware of and using gps -- that she interrupted making me miss my stop) I thanked her and got off the phone finally arrived on lyndale my fiancé went to put gas in Uhual due to gas being low so that the next driver wouldnt have to worry about it. She constantly called my phone to find him mind you he was at the gas station on lyndale literally not even a minute away from storage unit ! Same block! And started raising her voice at me I was furious I already explained he was getting gas and coming to turn in ! Horrible customer service I will be contacting the manager !!
