This is my third time moving with Ace. I started using them based on a recommendation from a friend and have not regretted it. Ace has been flexible, efficient, and professional. They went so far as to look up my previous move to connect me with the same moving team. This helped ease the stress of moving day. Both moving out and moving into our new home was seamless. Due to our closing dates, they securely stored all our belongings for two nights which was such a relief. The movers were polite, efficient and hard working. Would definitely recommend.

Manny Rodriguez and his team were fabulous!! They were careful, quick and amazingly strong. Managed to get furniture out and in without any damage. We had some large furniture that was very difficult to maneuver yet they managed. They were very courteous and pleasant to have around. Recently had a 8 hour move done. move was estimated at 8 hours. Crew showed up on time, were professional and polite and knew what they were doing. Very pleased.

Ace Moving fit my full-sized pool table up an impossibly small staircase without even touching a wall. Chris and crew did a great job of moving us. All furniture was wrapped in heavy pads before packing in truck. Furniture was placed wherever we wanted and unwrapped. Runners dropped in all walkways. Great attitude from everybody.

We could not have been more satisfied with our move. I was astonished by hard everyone worked for our 9 hour move. They were all friendly and we were sad to see them leave at the end of a long and hard day. Communication with all of them especially the team lead, Nick, was wonderful.

The 4 movers were all very courteous and professional. I told them to be very careful with my Amish table and they were.

Do not waste your time, money, nor grief with this company.We hired Ace to move an upright piano from one private home to another, noting in our first correspondence that the source had 3 steps in order to get the piano to the curb, and the destination had a porch with 5 steps, then a staircase with 2 90-degree turns. They said great, and provided a quote.- They did not ask for the dimensions of the piano.- They did not ask for the width of any doorways.- They did not ask for the width of the staircase.These were all knowable ahead of time, and as the mover it is literally your job to make sure you can do the move.It seems they dont actually care because they will charge 100% of the price regardless of whether they complete the move or not.The day of the move, they asked one of the residents at the origin location to drive a removable part of the piano in their personal car to the destination. Again, this is completely inappropriate because as the mover THIS IS LITERALLY YOUR JOB. They did not compensate for gas nor time.When they arrived at the destination, they said the piano would not fit around the corners of the staircase, and asked what other destination we want the piano to go to. There is no other destination, and we told them up front about said corners. Why is this a surprise?So they failed at moving the piano from source to destination, then demanded that we pay as if the move were successful.

Very easy to work with and responsive. Movers worked efficiently and were friendly. No damage to our stuff or houses. The 3 hour minimum is a little much, as we only needed 2 hours each move. But very convenient to have them just store our items in the truck for a week as we were between moves with closing times on old and new house. Would recommend for local moves and storage.

The crews were great! I moved out of a townhouse one day and into a house the next. I was frazzled on the first day, and embarrassed that I wasnt quite ready. The guys were all so even tempered and nice that my stress level actually dropped after they arrived. I was very pleased and would recommend Ace Moving.

Some of their younger movers could work on professionalism, but to me that wasn’t a roadblock in giving a good review. I would recommend them to others and use them myself again for sure.

Manny and his crew were very efficient. They were extremely organized in both moving boxes and furniture out and to also to move in. At every step they kept us informed of the progress. I would surely recommend them.

We initially selected Ace Moving out of a group of vendors due to their professional in person rep whom we met and really liked. Our move was scheduled for one date, and got postponed. We informed Ace about this. We sent an email as soon as we knew our delays and upcoming set move date. Mind you, the move dates between initial date and postponement were about 4 weeks apart. Two business days went by and no one addressed our emails which was odd. Then, we called and everything fell apart.Candace, aka Candi, answered the phone. She was openly rude, and did not address why our emails went unanswered for two business days. She blamed another co-worker for this instead. We had initially locked a rate of $250 for a weekend move. Now, suddenly, the rate was $300, per Candi. I kept telling Candi that we had a meeting of the minds, and we had locked the rate and had emails to prove it. She argued with me (mind you, ARGUED, not apologized and explained the policy) that the weekend move is $300. She. would. not. BUDGE! I told her to look into the emails, which she did not have, and I reminded her that our prior move was also a weekend move, and that we had agreed on a different rate! I felt like this was the twilight zone.Nope. No budging or explanation. Finally, when I asked Candice to listen to me and let me finish, she openly said I dont have to let you finish, I can either book this move or not. So basically, a polite go f yourself...my way or the highway.This, of course, left us speechless. Simply absurd. If you want to work with a company that will treat you like a POS and renag their prices and ignore your emails, book this company and flush your money down the toilet.

From start to finish, Ace Moving did an exceptional job during our recent out-of-state move. The pre-move estimate with Greg was very accurate and reasonably priced. Based on their professionalism and description of how items would be packed, we felt confident from the beginning they would move our household items with care. Ashley, the Relocation Coordinator, was timely and frequent in her communication, kept us up-to-date with any changes, and addressed any questions we had along the way. Pedro and his crew were very efficient and took great care in packing our items and adjusting to requests while loading and unloading. They would hardly let me touch a box or piece of furniture and offered to put it wherever needed. Overall, I would highly recommend Ace Moving for your next move!

The team was in time and worked hard the whole time.... it worked out great for us as the where wrapping up as we were ready to get into new place and they unloaded. There were a couple smudges on walls but with all the stuff they moved they did great! Very happy and would recommend Ace moving again.

Ace Movers were hired to move furniture in an assisted living facility. Upon arrival, they were asked to wear masks. They refused, saying they would be “too hot”.I brought them paper masks and asked again for them to put them on. One ignored me and when I asked if he was ignoring me he replied “yep!” I told them that he couldn’t be in the building without a mask. The other person pointed at a resident and said “HE’S not wearing a mask so, why should I?”There are many elderly people who live here, and several who have respiratory issues. Movers are in and out of residences all day and if they’re not wearing masks, this is a huge spread risk.On top of the obvious health and safety risks, they were incredibly rude and disrespectful. I would not recommend Ace Movers!

The Ace movers did a great job with moving my heavy woodworking equipment. They showed up on time and had the proper equipment to get the job done without damage. Pedro & Luis were excellent movers and pleasantly unloaded our personal mementos carefully and cheerfully. They came early because the driver did, quickly set up, and speedily unpacked everything with care. I would highly recommend this company.

I picked these folks for two reasons. When I first called, the phone was immediately answered by a knowledgeable human, not an automated call center, and second, their on site estimator guy was also knowledgeable, and candid. My experience through the moving process was stellar. They kept in touch every step of the process so I felt comfortable that I knew what was going on and that I was prepared. When the moving day arrived, 4 personable, professional (and strong!) packing and moving experts showed up, got all my stuff wrapped and loaded and made me feel I was in good hands. Moving is stressful. The Ace staff made it as easy as possible.

The movers were professional, kind and helpful, and they worked really fast! They did a great job with some loose things in the garage— packing them up in boxes they had, because I was frantic packing up inside. I would highly recommend.

Did not invoice me at the time of the move and charged me a late fee. Claimed I knew full well that payment was due at the time of the move. I guess an invoice is to be demanded! Dont use them. Save yourself the trouble. They also claimed that they called me several times- I have no missed calls from them. And they have been unable to provide any evidence that they have called me. And keep claiming that my representative couldnt pay when he was provided no invoice and not requested to pay. Terrible way to treat a customer.

The scheduling on line was very easy. Team was here very promptly and worked hard moving my belongings. Sociable but not too talkative. Job was to be completed and they did. Sure would use them again and highly recommend to anyone needing movers.

This was my very first time using a moving service. I got the company name off of Angies List (it was certified) when the first place I had set up (the well known corporate/franchise one - you know who I mean - with men & trucks) conveniently lost my appointment off their schedule when I called back to revise it slightly downward to as I donated some furniture & I decided to move my own breakables. I only asked (first company) for that slight revision.When Ace heard my story, they not only squeezed me into their schedule on the weekend before (which wasnt ideal, but doable) but they charged me their regular hourly rate. (Weekends normally were at an OT hourly rate)Not only was it done efficiently, it was done at HALF the price big shot other company quoted me. Part of that discrepancy was the first place insisted they needed three men, not two - the latter of which Ace used & it was clearly sufficient. I only wish I had had more stuff ready to move so I did not have to finish it up myself - I just really HATE moving. I have already recommended Ace to a friend who plans to move in six months.

This company is great! We moved in early December and they made our move easy! The crew worked hard and fast. One of the men in the crew even made sure to put our Christmas decor boxes within reach! I would highly recommend!

Superior service. The original estimate was lower than competitors and Joe volunteered to do a second estimate. Although the cost rose slightly after that second review they were still thousands lower than others. At the end of the move they were right at the estimate.The team was hard working, very thorough, pleasant and even fun! There were no damages despite 350 boxes of material and lots of furniture that was fragile including a baby grand piano.When I checked references a realtor told me that she uses ACE about six times a year for her clients and the moves have all gone well. Other references were stellar.They get my highest recommendation!

Very pleased. Used them for a move from Red Wing to Chaska (parents home down-sizing to assisted living). The crew of three young men were very professional, efficient, polite and friendly. Communications were clear. Doug in the sales department also worked hard to understand our specific needs and prepare a bid for us with good follow up during that process. Cost came in under budget, too. Great job!

Just wasted about 2 months trying to get a move booked with Megan Prins (oh, yes, Im calling her out by name). When I originally called, she told me that yes, there was an employer-sponsored discount for my husbands company. And also that the rough estimate I was asking for by email would not nearly be as accurate as having someone do an on-site survey. She seemed helpful and knowledgeable. She was just spouting nonsense apparently. After having decided to move forward with Ace/Atlas, I was told by a different employee that another company, Guardian Relocation, would be doing the survey. Fine, they contract it out. So I wait for almost 2 weeks to get a call from this other company, while contacting Ace daily after week 1 that I had not yet heard from Guardian. Finally I get an appointment set up for the survey and not 3 hours later Megan is calling to tell me she canceled my appointment for the survey because she was just informed that Ace was going to be responsible for paying Guardian for the survey. She was not going to pay $200 for a survey. Also, she had just found out that the move origin was outside their service area. Oh, and the discount she said we were getting? She was pretty sure the contract had not been renewed so there was no discount.Ill pay more just to work with someone who actually knows how to do his or her job.EDIT: I was just called by the owner and asked if I would remove or edit my review. Beware.

If you’re looking for a company to move your stuff without damaging anything and in a timely manner, Ace Midwest Moving and Storage is where it’s at! We had them store our stuff overnight and everything arrived in one piece and was delivered quickly! The guys who did the moving were super friendly and respectful. We will recommend them time and time again! And not to forget, the customer service was amazing! Marena was quick to get everything handled and so nice! We also had somebody come to our home and give us an estimate and he was also awesome!

The sales department really helped us out with a last second change in plans. That being said, they also under bid the job by $500. The people that moved us out did a great job, however the move in was far different. Even though it was the same movers, I’d say that 80% of our things were just carelessly dumped in our garage. A 3 car garage was jam packed without even an aisle. That’s what happens when you move yourself. Broken were a lamp, a dollhouse and a huge gouge in our piano. With the dollhouse the guy replied “ well that happens”. It does when you’re not careful or don’t care. They repeatedly stated that they had another job to get to, which was evident with the performance. I’ve probably moved 40 boxes out of the garage already, so I will say I will definitely hire somebody else next time................... RevisedAfter speaking with their sales manager Doug, I am even more displeased with this company. This guy never once apologized for the broken item, or their level of service. Instead he chose to blame me for not holding the hand of their “professional “ movers. I reached out to the owner with no response, which I’m not surprised by in the least. The marketing manager was the only one who took any ownership of the situation. After further consideration I would tell people, to NEVER use this company

Drake & Peter were fantastic! They were professional and personable and took great care wrapping our largest house items and transporting and unloading at our new house. They worked quickly, ask questions and overall made the moving experience so much better! I would definitely recommend!!

The team of Manny and Chris did an exceptionally professional job today. It required multiple moves from location to location and they both did it with smiles! This is our second time to use ACE Moving and both experiences exceeding all expectations!

We moved with Atlas Van Lines last year from MN to NC and Ace Midwest Moving and Storage(as they were then called) was our local mover. We experienced several issues on our move date; Im not sure whether this was an Ace issue or the company that they subcontracted with. Ace does not move you...they subcontract with other moving companies to carry out your move. This information was not disclosed to us prior to our move, but only after there was an issue with the movers concerning their arrival time.For us, the subcontractors showed up hours before our scheduled window. According to the conditions of our move, not being ready would constitute an hourly penalty or fee. Even after the mixup was supposedly corrected, the subcontractors tried to get us to sign documents that would have assessed a monetary penalty on us for not being ready for their arrival. Luckily, I read over the documents and refused to sign. Also, we were supposed to have had full value protection for our move since we were AAA members; however, the subcontractors didnt have that information, which resulted in much back and forth between the movers, Ace, and us. All of this confusion made a stressful move that much worse.One of the few highlights of our move was our interaction with Doug. When Atlas Van Lines failed to deliver our belongings within the agreed upon time frame, he was extremely helpful in giving us contact information for Atlas and letting us know about a coupon on Aces website offering $100 for any long distance move. He even gave us his personal cell phone number so that we could reach him if needed while he was on vacation. I was thrilled with my moving experience with Ace Moving. Duane and Andy were so efficient, professional and pleasant. They took a lot of care putting rugs down in both of my houses throughout the moving process so my carpets stayed clean.
