I paid in full when placing my order, because thats Proteros policy. Subsequently I was told in an email Feel free to contact us with any questions the following day I wrote back and asked for a shipping date.My request was never addressed ! So I left a VM for Bob the sales man and again no answer . Today 12 days later and no sign of a reply to my enquire, I called Theresa and asked if she had received my emails, she informed me that she didnt get to read all her e mails ! WOW .I own a buisness and if one of my employees dropped the ball like this, there would be serious consequences . Just saying !!!

I have the PV18 on a 60 Hustler FasTrak, about 3 years now. Protero is a great company that has always given me the best support Ive ever seen. They have gone above and beyond what I expected every time.I love the dump feature, I dont even have to stand up! I live in the rocky part of Arkansas and this catcher has survived everything. It is tough, works great, again I love the dump feature and with the outstanding support it is worth every penny of the cost! I would recommend the company and product to anyone looking for a great company with outstanding support and tough, high quality grass/leaf catchers. I would buy again!

We purchased a PV18 grass/leaf catcher for our Kubota zero turn about four years ago and absolutely love it. We mow about four acres and our yard looks like a golf course when were done. It is very easy to use and well made. The company is easy to work with and are very friendly and professional.

Im not a landscaper, my Kubota ZD326 60 inch mower is not used commercially, Im a homeowner who had to make the decision between buying Kubota or give Protero a try. I was straight with my dealer and told him I was considering this unit and they agreed it was well engineered but warned me about a small company and their ability to provide customer service from many states away. I was concerned, but because it was nearly half the price and had rave reviews I figured I would give it a try. Ive had my share of issues, technical problems with the blower assembly and belts. Protero performed beyond expectations. Not only did they resolve my issues, they did so at their cost, using overnight courier, and walked me through the repairs. You honestly couldnt ask for more considering that have to load up the machine on a trailer to take it to the dealer. So in that case, dealing with this company over the phone was actually easier and less expensive. I strongly recommend speaking with Bob and you make an informed decision thereafter, they make an excellent product and Ive had nothing but a good experience with them. Give them a try… Youll be glad you did

I have owned a pv 18 for a bout 7 or 8 years and have been completely satisfied. Works on all types of leaves. I am just now replacing my hose and am replacing the blower fan for the second time. We have a lot of sand and this is just routine wear and tear. I highly recommend this product. I have read some bad reviews here but I can only speak for myself. I have always got good service. Always answer the phone and get what I order I a timely manner.

I was seriously looking at purchasing. After a few brief emails with Bob Doran I was headed to personally pick up. I just needed the hopper and mounting kit. Bob had everything ready to go and I was loaded and on my way home to install. I dont think it took 30 minutes and it was securely mounted. Used it for a big yard cleanup today and all I can say is it worked flawlessly. It saved a lot of time and I stayed a whole lot cleaner pulling a lever from the seat versus hand dumping those bags!Thanks again Bob!

Bob Doran @ Protero was wonderful to work with! .I have a 19 Bad Boy Maverick with a 60 deck and 27 hp Kohler.Told Bob that I wanted a dump from the seat catcher he knew exactly what I wanted and we got it ordered and it was only about two weeks till I got it!!.it took me about two hours to put together and get it on the mower. I previously had a John Deere with a 6-foot deck and a John Deere catcher dump from the seat it doesnt even compare to this!!!!. The deer was always plugging up, the grass had to be completely dry for it to work,got frustrated many many many times to where I just had enough and traded it in for another mower,but I still needed a catcher so I ordered the one for the bad boy and it is just a dream to run never plugs up even in wet grass!!!!. If youre looking for a catcher for your mower I highly recommend this one it is wonderful thanks Bob and everyone at Protero!!!

I have owned a PV18 for about a year and a half and it has always worked well. One of the grass shoots split and started leaking grass. I called and Bob sent me another one under warranty. I received it in about a week or two. I highly recommend this company and product.

I have owned my Protero for four years. I pickup leaves in the fall with a Kubota zero turn, best decision I have made for picking up leaves. I have twenty five acres i maintain with it and have only had problems with some wear because of the sand. Well worth the money. Thanks for keeping quality in your product! I would definitely buy again if someone steals mine or i wear it slap out.

I bought this attachment about 4 years ago. They are custom built for your mower so yes it takes a little bit to get it, if I remember right about a month,but it fit perfectly! I have never had one problem with it and would recommend to anyone, mine has grease fittings on the bearings and has held up very well. This is a quality unit, you wont regret it. Also when I received it it was missing the deck mount, I called and they had one out in a matter of days....

I purchased a Proterro Grass Catcher when I first bought my Kubota 221D about ten years ago. I was surprised when the owner picked up the phone and help personalize my order. The grass catcher arrived on time and as promised. I was amazed at how fast the unit vacuumed my yard. The quality was top of the line but the best part is the owner still picks up the phone for any questions or parts that I need. He actually cares about his product and has stood behind it for the past ten years. I highly recommend this product but especially dealing with the owner, Bob. He will not let you down.

Protero leaf collection systems are the best. I have a Cub Cadet Tank zero turn, and it PV18 dump catcher works great. I have had it for 5 years, and recently needed a part. Bob was not only helpful, he sent it to me free of charge. Very satisfied.

The unit has worked flawless since I purchased it. The dump system has saved me a ton of time compared to my old 3 bag collection system. The unit is on a JD 2025r. I am currently adapting it to work on the JD I match. Would recommend the product to anyone, I mow over 3 acres with it.

I purchased a Vp-13 vac system in the fall of 2018 for my Ferris srs z2. I was amazed on how Protero inc was able to keep the mower mower well balanced. The installation was easy, they made detailed instructions on how to install the system. The ride quality of the mowers is still excellent with the system on and it sucks the leaves up amazingly. I will definitely be purchasing more vac systems in the future for new equipment. Thank you for an amazing product.

We are a remote control airplane club. The mower is a Scag 61 Turf Tiger we mow a field that is approximately 4 acres. Installation was no big deal at all probably would have gone faster if I had read the instructions, but along the way Bob answered my phone calls and walked me through it. With the exception of a supplied drive belt being to short; which they corrected immediately the unit has been full time bi weekly use for over 2 seasons. Highly recommend !

I purchased a Protero leaf vac system about 4 years ago for my Toro Z master 60 in, has been one of the best investments i have ever made by far, still have the system today and it still works like the day i bought it new! I own a commercial business and use this vac in the fall and spring of every season as needed, its a time saver, and works spot on, I recommend this product to anyone who is in the grass cutting profession.

Ive owned my Protero ProVac for 5 years and its done a fabulous job. I use it by a main highway where people throw butts out and it vacs them up and leaves a clean landscape. In south Louisiana we have very thick grass and it leaves my yard manicured. All of the neighbors envy how nice it looks when they have piles of grass left after mowing. I would recommend it to anyone who likes to keep their yards nice with little effort. Im so glad I bought it. When you call with any questions, Bob has always been a great help. I was skeptical due to the reviews posted by others. I called and spoke with Bob, he and I discussed my concerns. He assured me there were no worries on shipping. Due to a miscommunication my rushed bagger system did not arrive when I anticipated. Bob quickly offered all assistance to make it right. Wow this machine is tough. Seriously I have used it for 3 years and have had great success with it every fall and winter. We use it on an eight acre mobile home park relentlessly for about three months until the last leaves fall. Probably have gotten about 165 hours out of it before changing parts. I would buy again for the money.

Ive had the Protero commercial blower/ vacuum for about three years now .I am the owner of a midsize landscaping company in Pennsylvania and I dont know what I would do without it!!! I run it about 8 to 10 hours a day and its unstoppable. It also has great capacity. It compares to having three additional men for leaf clean up.The customer service at Protero Inc. are friendly and very helpful . Anytime I have ever called for advise, they have gone above and beyond to help .

I have had my dump from the seat model for 2 years now. I think its built heavy duty and the blower will suck up even pine needles. The dump from the seat works great and has saved me a lot of Time. Bob at protero is the guy to talk too. Any concerns he will take care of. I needed a new side cover because I ran into a stump.... called Bob and was able to pick it up a couple days later. I really like my grass catcher.Next mower I buy will be outfitted with another dump from the seat from Protero.

I LOVE our Protero bagging system. We attached it to our Toro Commercial 52 mower. We purchased this a number of years ago to bag the grass on our 3 acre yard and it has worked like a champ. The people at Protero have been amazing and always willing to help me out with questions or troubleshooting issues (which have been very few.) Im able to dump the grass from the seat of my mower by pulling a handle. The bagger is huge and has made life so much easier.

I own a kabota zd331 72 cut, I use on around 16 acres. I purchased the prothero mulcher to get the leafs up every year around late November. It only takes around 10 hours to do the job. The property has around a 1000 trees so the leaf piles are huge. My favorite things I like are: the mulch makes great dirt in a year/the grass can grow /ease of operation/its easy to install and uninstall(with a few tools and 1 assistant)./less of a fire hazard / fewer places for snakes to hide /& Bob the owner is a great guy Very accessible and knowledgeable.I think its because he invented it.Whats amazing is he can make 1 fit almost any mower.

Protero vac. is one of the best thing I have brought. It vac. up very good, But the best thing I like about it, is the dumping from the seat, and once you open the door, All the content has to come out, very quick.I run this on a Scag Turf Tiger 61 Deck. I love it very much !!! Thank you, Gary

I Purchased a Protero PV18 this summer and with a little help from a neighbor, we got the grass catcher attached to the lawn mower. I was not mechanical but he was. Everything worked perfect and left nothing behind. I have used it to vacuum up after I dethatched the yard and when my mothers yard got away from me. Easy to use and works great! I am still waiting to use it this fall for leaf pick up. I have no worries about that adventure and actually looking forward to it. Thank You Protero, You make peoples lives much easier.

We are a Comercial and residential lawn care service and have been using Protero leaf collection systems for nearly 14 years with great results! The latest upgrades have made these systems extremely fast and efficient. When you only get 2 weeks to complete 200 fall cleanups time is of the essence so we are adding a 4th machine to the fleet.

I purchased a blower and grass catcher for my Kabota 60 commercial diesel mower. about 3 years ago. Every time that I back up to my grass unloading spot on my property, I am still amazed at how fast and easy it is to empty my bushels of grass. In 15 seconds, I on my way to continue cutting. I would be spending 10 minutes, minimum, and lots of eneregy, each time to empty 4 cloth bags full of clippings. I pull one lever, the grass slides out and push the lever back. Thats it. Over the 3 years, I have needed replacement parts but they are there within a couple of days of ordering.Fantastic product, great service.

I bought the protero catcher a few years ago and have been very happy with it. I recently needed to replace the belt as part of maintenance care, and customer service was very helpful with this. The belt was sent the very next day.

Purchased a pv13 bagging system for wright zk. The bagging system works wonderfully and as advertised. The system cuts down the amount of work tremendously.

This is by far the worst business that I have ever dealt with in my entire life! We ordered a vacuum system for a john deere tractor last year and it took a couple months for it to actually ever arrive, we had to continuously call to check why it had not been shipped and kept getting excuses but it finally came. After we received it the whole unit had every pulley on it loose and had to be tightened which took hours and hours of labor before the unit could even be installed. Then this spring while using it to pick up grass, one of the welds broke on the fan, and we called back in May and here it is August and they still have not shipped a replacement. We call them and leave messages most of the time they never answer the calls and when they do they just give excuses and make empty promises. I think its time for a small claims lawsuit because I need my money back for this pile of JUNK!

I am on my 2nd Protero PV 18. I had one on a John Deere Z Turn, and nowa Gravely 260 Z. I love this catcher and it is larger than most of the others out there.It is also a plastic material instead of metal, so it doesnt bend up when you bump something. It catchers grass and leaves as fast as you can cut them, and much better than the one Gravely offered for my 260. Do yourself a favor, and contact Bob D. at Protero, and let him work with you on this! I think you will be very satisfied !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Protero vac bagging system works awesome ! I purchased a 2013 gravely 52 stander mower April of 2013 and had the protero vac system on it by May. I was told that I was the first gravely stander they made for one and thats why it took a little to get here. I was real pleased with the order, time, and shipping.The day the vac system went on my mower it has never been off. I seriously use it everyday when Im even cutting grass. So therefore it has not let me down yet! I have done a little welding on the fan/vac housing due to stress cracks, but that is understandable in my situation for an everyday use. They do take a beating ! if I call protero for bearings, fans, or other miscellaneous parts they always have them ready for shipping and they arrive within 2 days which works great for me .

The Protero is the real deal. After seeing a landscaper use a dump from seat on his John Deere I called the company that manufacturers his unit only to find out after numerous calls that they only do it for certain mowers and my new mower wasn’t one of them. I came across Protero and decided to call them and to my surprise I was able to talk directly to him. After about a 20 minute conversation about rear baggers, cyclone rakes and dr equipment I realized that he wasn’t trying to “sell” me anything rather he was trying to help me solve a huge problem on my 24 acre farm with 500+ trees.I decided to order and I was told it would be about 4-6 weeks because they were behind in production. The unit finally arrived and the assembly was about what I was told in terms of time and difficulty.Delivery time 3 stars. Assembly 4 stars. The way the thing actually works and the bang for your buck 5+ stars. It’s big and you have to get used to having it behind you but because it’s counterbalanced with weight on the front it handles the hills on my farm just fine. If you let leaves or grass pile up to ridiculous levels it will clog but very easy to unclog and clogs less than Agri fab, cyclone, or DR even with the same size hose. The impeller is very strong and also loud so you will need hearing protection.I have two mowers so I leave mine permanently hooked up but it would be about a 20 minute process to remove or reinstall.The best thing is the thing really works. The next best thing is the company stands behind you. I made a suggestion about a better handle and the owner listened and came up with a redesign that was a big improvement for me.I mix all the leaves and grass and some horse manure together in a compost pile and use it just like topsoil after a year.I hope this review helps and I was given no compensation whatsoever to do this only good customer service and a great time and labor saving product.

Just wanted to let everyone know that we recommend Protero bagger Systems 100%. We have a lawn company that has been in business for 30 years and Protero bagger systems are the only one we found to be efficient. We have their bagger system on four of our Kubotas and we not only bag leaves in the fall but also bag grass through out the mowing season. We have tried other systems but have never been satisfied.All I can say is give the system a try and you wont be disappointed!!!!!! Protero keep up the good work, you deserve the five stars and more.

This is the best bagging system made. I bought the Protero PV18 for my John Deere Ztrak 757 10 years ago. My neighbor bought a diesel Kubota mower with their factory bagger (cost almost twice as much for his bagger as the Protero). I use mine to mow 5 acres, plus I use it to bag leaves in the fall. In 10 years, a few parts have worn out, but Bob has always been quick to send replacement parts when I ordered. Customer Service has been impeccable. I cant say enough about how much I love this bagging system and how well it works. Oh, and my neighbors high dollar Kubota? Hes on his 3rd replacement bagger at almost 5 times the cost of my one unit - and he had to pay for everyone of them because Kubota claims the damage is wear and tear! No thanks, Ill stick with my Protero!

Glenn Williams, Laurel, MSI purchased a Protero grass catcher in October 2010. Since i have purchased the grass catcher i have vacuumed more than two hundred acres and thousands of bushels of leaves and grass. I am now just going to put a new propellor in the vacumn. The maintenance on this machine is extremely low and the reliable is extremely high. If you want a machine that will clean your yard better than raking in less time then this is the machine to buy. My yard is two acres and i can complete it in two hours but by hand it would take two days. So if you want to spend the money to save yourself time and make your wife happy this is the machine to buy! If i ever need another i will purchase this machine again.

Ive been using the Protero Vacuum System for about 2 years now on my Gravely 60 mowers. When I originally installed them I was very happy with how easy it was to mount the whole system. I was also very impressed with how well built and heavy duty all the parts are. These bagging systems work great! Ive even noticed that they still pick up great even when Im trying to bag up long wet grass or thick wet leaves. When I bought my mower it came with the factory 3 cloth bag system from Gravely. After using the Protero system I would never use the factory bagger again. Its a night and day difference in how much better the Protero system works! Another great thing about them is that you dont have to get off the mower to empty the bagger when it is full. Just pull the lever and it opens and dumps which saves tons of time and aggravation. I use these baggers for my spring and fall cleanups and they work awesome and save tons of time which means I can get more yards done and make more money. Id recommend the Protero Vacuum System to anyone looking for a durable, very efficient bagging system.

Ive been using Protero catchers for my mowers for 6 years now. Ive got 5 Provac 18s for my zero turns, and 2 Provac 230s for my walk behind. They all work great and cut my fall cleanup times in half. Bob gets back to me quick if I have any problems.

It was wrong from the day it arrived. Nothing fit, after more than a dozen phone calls I finally got a couple of parts which still did not work. Cant reach them. I have called them several times, left messages, they will NOT call me back. I would never deal with this company, never recommend them.

Have an older bagging system on my kubota zg23. Love this system. It needed some parts and after it being over ten years old its to be expected. Parts were still available and were received in a decent amount of time. The genteel man on the phone was more then willing to help. Im looking for a bagging system for my Kubota zd331 and when Im ready to purchase I will be getting it from Protero. The dump from the seat is time saving and the amount of debris it picks up along with using gator blades is perfect. Ive used many different systems and this is the my favorite. Thanks Protero.

The $863.00 blower my husband purchased for our mower never worked properly. After numerous phone calls and no real solutions, we returned the blower. Its been over 2 1/2 months and we havent received a refund. Bob has several excuses as to why we dont have the money yet....he needs to check with his staff.....forgot to check....Cindys is out with sick family member...will mail refund check. I dont recommend giving this company your business or your money.

Worst customer service Ive ever had. Tried dealing with these guys multiple times for parts and takes days/weeks to get back to me..have sent wrong parts and are no help whatsoever. Own a dethatcher and bagger system from them and have had problems with both. Definately need to hire more help/customer service if they ever want my business again.

In 2013 I decided to get a grass catcher for my Exmark Lazer Z-52 mower..I search for what was available and found the one that Protero made to be the best I could find..It has a very large compartment for holding grass compared to others I found on the market..I purchased and started using and was amazed at how well it worked and the ease of dumping grass..I have used this weekly ( summertime) now for 3 years and very well pleased with every thing about this catcher..I use the grass for mulching gardens, Blueberries and anything else ..This year I realized it was time for some maintenance like changing the belt and checking bearings and what ever else needed attention..I called Bob at Protero and he walked me thru the things to look for and the how to dos of such..I needed the drive belt and one bearing and Bob promptly sent me the parts asap..I replaced these and continue to use every 5 days on my lawn..If anyone out there is interested in a well built grass catcher for their mower I would highly suggest you talk with Bob at Protero..These guys build a heavy duty catcher that does all I need and I think anyone would be pleased with the quality of this catcher and the service that Protero has to offer..

Has anyone else experienced horrible customer service through Protero? After expressing concerns experienced by other customers I have talked to (late shipment, missing parts, wrong parts), I called and spoke with the owner. I was assured by the owner that everything would be good, and that I would receive my item in 3 weeks. Because he assured me multiple times, I proceeded to order. I spent $3,100 on the PV18 PTO unit. After 6 weeks of non-stop calls and emails trying to get an update from them regarding my shipment, I received a severely damaged unit, which was missing the PTO drive shaft (unit is inoperable without it), and had all wrong parts (parts were for a 54 deck, instead of the 60 deck I ordered). Then there was a hassle with the return of it. I am now on week 10 after ordering, and still DO NOT have what I ordered. I constantly get the run around and excuses of staff members being out, no recollection of what was told to me, etc. Surely I am not the only one to experience such poor business practices.

I have used the Protero vacuum system on my Kubota ZD326 mower for over 5 seasons, with only replacing the belt once. I remove leaves from over 4.5 acres every year to completely groom my yard and am very proud to own the Protero vacuum system. Customer service from the company has been excellent with answering questions and order response. The greatest advantage to my system is being able to unload without ever getting off my mower. I have 4 neighbors that have either a Kubota system, John Deere system, or Easy Vacuum system that doesnt come close to the ease of operation and durability of the Protero. The Protero Vacuum system matches the commercial operation of my Kubota mower. I would and have recommended the Protero Vacuum system to my friends and co-workers. Douglas Holt

I have been using my PV-18 on my Kabota ZD-25 w/ 60 deck for 9 1/2 years. I mow 2 1/2 acres and it looks like a municipal park after using the Protero catcher. Im able to back into my dump area and reach behind for a single action dump, close, and back to the grass. This catcher has been the envy of every neighbor and friend from the beginning. Anyone considering this for purchase, dont hesitate. I have many friends with different catcher systems and without exception the common comment is I should have bought one of these. Many of the them are replacing OEM parts for the 2nd or 3rd time while mine still looks new and performs like new.I cant recommend this product highly enough! (This is the 1st time Ive offered a review on any product)

I bought two Proteros to replace the ultra vac on two of my exmark mowers. I should have done it years ago. With the ultra vac I was constantly fighting with it clogging which was taking up valuable time. I have yet to have the protero clog even mowing heavy wet grass. The time and frustration it is saving me was well worth the money! I was also able to adapt it to the exmark bag system in the back

Anyone know how to get ahold of this guy sent him money on a bagger system over a month ago and he wont answer calls or emails any help would be great!

Nothing but incompetents. ONLY USE AS A LAST RESORT. It took them over a month only to send me the wrong unit. Then they sent me the rite unit w/ the wrong hardware and NO belt. They over nited the rite hardware and missing belt but the belt was incorrect so they said theyd over nite the correct belt but forgot to place the order. 2 months later im still waiting to use this vac system. protero never returned my calls throughout this whole nightmare. I wish i could tell you how the vac works but im still waiting to use it.

My companies done work with them for years. They have a great product for a great price.

Ordered a bagging system with my machines model number, still received incorrect parts. Very hard to deal with, they very rarely answer and they take days to call back (if they choose to call back at all). As a commercial landscaper Im very disappointed and frustrated that I cant use my $2500 bagger system. I will never do business with these clowns again.

I think this place is a scam I ordered my unit two months ago and still not here they cashed the check right away and now stop answer my calls
