Love Penzeys. Best spices and great variety of different ones to choose from. Prices are great for the quality. Also they are the only place in town I can find diamond kosher salt which is far superior to Mortons. The sweet curry powder is the best there is.

The best place for spice shopping

Penzeys is always fantastic! Unique spices that you cannot find at grocery stores. I hope my local, Minneapolis, store will be able to reopen soon... doing good job with coronavirus rules & restrictions. My favorite product is Szechuan Pepper-Salt Roasted. Bill Penzey is fantastic!👍

I realized that I needed to take advantage of the latest free with purchase deal right before I left for a business trip. So after work yesterday I stopped here. The staff was friendly and helpful. They were understanding of why I was there, and were available without hovering.They also informed me of where I can park near the store (free parking behind the store) when I come back. Which was useful information because Im going to the bookstore on the block later this week.

Love Penzeys! Helpful staff, delicious herbs, spices and blends, love that you can sniff everything (including the hot chilies). You can buy sample sizes to large quantities. Theres always some discount or free item online or in store. The company has a big heart and it shows.

Lots of great spices at good prices. Friendly very helpful staff. Even patient with my screaming kid. Always impressed with the freshness and flavor of these spices. I stop by whenever i can instead of picking off the shelf at the grocery store. Parking is terrible here.

My favorite place for herbs and spices. Yes, its a little more then budget brands, but the quality is a million times better. Looking to get more mileage from your spice rack? Start here! I highly recommend the Aleppo Pepper, Salad Sprinkle, BBQ 3000, any of their peppers and salts, and Ceylon Cinnamon.

I love this place. Wish they had one in the Maple Grove area. If you can find their parking lot in the alley, it is a bonus! Theyre even dog friendly! Great quality spices, helpful staff.

Great service, what happened to the parking? Plan to pay for parking in the lot to the east of Calhoun Square. The parking isn’t Penzeys’ fault of course, but it makes this place a bit more of a challenge.

Love this place—the staff are always really friendly and there’s a huge selection of slices. Be prepared to buy more than you came in for. I especially love their Garam Masala blend.They also have a really nice assortment of boxes/collections at different price points that make for great gifts!

The spice selection was amazing, the reason I give it one star is the staff was ungodly rude to me and my partner. We were the only people not greeted, we were bugged by staff not because they wanted to help us but because they thought we were stealing. I guess next time Ill remember to wear my suite and tie so i get service not harassment

Great selection. Customer service could use some improvement, as I was in the store for over 10 minutes and never once spoken to by an employee of the shop. Decided not to buy anything because I didnt want to search out an employee to ask a question.

There is no other spice store that compares to what they give you at Penzys! There spices ate amazing, not sure there is anything they dont carry. It starts at A and winds all around the store. They also carry a number of mixed spices creating using the individuals. They sell an India telicherry black peppercorn that is just delicious! I also highly recommend the bicentennial blend and the barbeque 30000.
