A cool throw back shop.
I contacted Helen at Miller Upholstering to order a customized amount of Danish Webbing materials. She helped determine how much I needed and gave me some advice on upholstering an oddly shaped cushion. I ordered the webbing and received it promptly. Helen is the best! A+
Miller Upholstering provides fabulous service. I have had many items re-upholstered and she did a fantastic job with all of them. She has a high level of skill and an abundance of knowledge. She did work for me on two different chairs, a sofa as well as vanity stools. I get endless compliments on them. I highly recommend Miller Upholstering. She is very clear about what is possible and what may not be so you can make prudent choices. She is helpful with suggestions but is certain that your piece represents your style. I was very happy with her work.
Helen is a true professional: knowledgeable, skilled, meticulous and easy to work with. She helped save two favorite easy chairs that needed new innards after 27 years of heavy use. They turned out perfect and actually better than when they were new. I recommend Helen without reservation.
Helen recovered my grandmothers armchair with lots of care and attention to detail. I am just thrilled with the results.. It is beautiful and the workmanship is amazing. Thank you!
I called Helen last minute asking for some help repairing a tufted couch cushion that had come loose. Even though it was a small job for her, she was more than happy to fix it for me. She got me in right away, and was able to fix it on the spot! Helen was so kind to even show me how I could fix it myself if it were to ever come loose again. 10/10!
Helen is a very knowledgeable and professional business owner. She was very honest about my sofa issue and I very much appreciate the help and repair that she provided. I would totally recommend her!
Helen, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and fun to work with! I am in the process of reupholstering some old dining room chairs that I nabbed for free off the sidewalk last summer. She has already given me a lot of great free advice about how to do the upholstery job (there are special considerations because the initial seats were made of rush), and I cant wait to go back and select the fabric with Helens help. Plus the shop is very cozy, and I would much rather be there than in one of those giant fabric stores.
One of my very favorite places to get inspiration. There are so many beautiful fabrics! Helen does amazing work.
Did a great job on our dining room chairs, and even made a cushion for our piano seat with some of the extra fabric. Very high quality, and through her experience helped us refurbish some older chairs.
Wow! Helen from Miller Upholstering must be one of the most gracious persons Ive met in a long time. I called from California earlier in the week asking about one of Helens blogs. It was in reference to a Viking Artline Slipper chair. If you read the blog, youll notice that Helen includes a lot of really nice details and suggestions about upholstering this particular chair. Given that I had just purchased one, I thought Holy Cow! This information is great. If only I had some pictures, I might be able to diy this upholstery job! So I called Helen asking for pictures of the job, and she sent them to me that same day! She took the time to help me and respond to my request. Above and beyond! It always surprises me when someone is that gracious. Thanks Helen, you really made my week.
Really easy to communicate with; Helens bid for my chairs was clear and prompt. Expensive, but fair.
Very rude on the phone!Would not recommend contacting this company at all!
