I live a few blocks from this whole foods. Handy underground parking. Carts have their own escalator. Prices not bad since Amazon take over. They have great ice cream cones/bowls. I love the bakery. Especially the sourdough. Fancy coldcuts and cheese!
WholeFood quality has dropped down dramatically since Amazon took over. I just bought a box of milk over $6, it’s supposed to be one of the great brands but the when I drink it, I found the milk spoilage. It made my stomach uncomfortable. I attached a photo here. This is place is way over priced for the quality of the food it provided.
I enjoy this Whole Foods for grabbing little things. The place is too expensive for me to be buying all of my groceries. I really like their bakery and I have tried a few things all have been good. It is kept very clean and tidy inside. I really like that there is free parking below so that I do not have to mess with street parking. There is also a bathroom inside you get the code with purchase. Overall it is an enjoyable place to shop.
Very helpful staff. Good produce. Not my usual Whole foods, has a smaller selection since it is a downtown store but met expectations.
I wouldnt do my everyday grocery shopping here but they do have those hard to find items. But they do have good deals on fruits and vegies and keep them fresh. Couldnt find a bad pick. They have extremely helpful staff and almost all customers are courteous to each other. Its like shopping with neighbors you actually enjoy.
Whole foods is I believe the by far best food market in All of Minneapolis! One stop shop with Amazon pick up n drop offs too! Fresh quality foods with very nice employees.
One of better places to find anything organic in the area. Prices are a bit high, but you get what you pay for. Most employees are helpful and friendly. Who will help you find whatever youre looking for. Provided the store carries it.
Always extremely clean and tidy for such a busy location. The staff are a great group of people. The bakery is 10/10!
Different type of people shop here......like the ones that want high end carrots...and food that is so spendy that even the middle class cant buy much ...come on good food needs to be priced so everyone can afford..we all want good foods too
Awesome place to shop. Staff was very courteous, and the selection they have is amazing. A bit pricey but you get great quality groceries for what you spend. 5 stars!
I had a few questions about where things were located in the store and the three people I talked to were extremely helpful and actually showed me where they were instead of just telling me I appreciated that very very friendly
Wonderful place friendly service n great people...I know its a heated debate over masks but Id like to live alittle longer than catch the virus twice..yall live only once...mask up by choice...
This place is so cool check it out if your in the area. All types of different foods, in there and shops own by small businesses! Check it out
First trip to whole foods in downtown minneapolis. I was concerned about parking but they have a nice ramp right underneath the building that allows you to hours of free parking while you shop. Nice clean store and in an easy location when coming from outside of downtown - from the west side at least. Nice people, nice place.
It is a mistake to think that Whole Foods is where you spend your whole paycheck.. In the long run, they compete well with typical supermarkets; especially if you factor in things like elevated quality, extremely high customer service, and freshness/goodness of products sold. There have even been many instances when I discovered items cost less than places like Cub and Walmart.
Moving to the neighborhood soon, will be doing a ton of my shopping here. Looks nice.
I got the to go pepperoni and cheese pizza and ice cream. The pizza was ok and it seemed to cool off relatively quickly. The ice cream was mostly melted when I got it. It’s apparently French ice cream made and imported from Chicago. I got the blueberry ricotta and brown butter pecan. It was ok, but not super flavorful. The brown butter pecan had a good texture with chewy bits in it.
They never have any soups in the soup area next to the salad bar and very few people were wearing masks
I went to Amazon return service and was helped by Theresa. She was wonderful. She was friendly, patience and helpful. She. ade the return painless. Thank you
I only needed one item. It is a nice store with a large selection. It was easy to find what I needed. The best feature is free parking!
Tends to be very busy. Self serve lines really help. Convenient. Great selection, as always pricey.
My friend and her fiancee who are both African American were followed by security the whole time they were shopping. Shouldnt matter if they wear a hoodie or not, they deserve the same respect as any other customer of any other race. Spent almost $200 there but was treated suspiciously. Definitely wont go there, had much better treatment at their location by Lake Calhoun.
Great stuff, very easy to spend all your money.
Fresh fruits and vegetables, but it has a smallSection for over counter pharmacy. Overall it is a clean grocery store.
Horrible experience w/ security. I didnt know they worked there & they followed me aroudnd the store making me extremely uncomfortable to the point that I almost called 911 because I was afraid for my saftey.
I go to this store a few times a week. I typically bring my own bag and sometimes that bag is a laptop bag. I checked out at the self checkout last time I was there. When I went to bag my purchases, the woman at the self checkout slowly shuffled over to look in my bag like I may have stolen something. I said hello and she acted as if I couldnt see her two feet from my face. Dont treat me like a thief.
I LOVE Whole Foods!! They have everything you could think of, and LOTS of options for restrictive diets (very vegan friendly).Staff members are very accommodating - I had to run back to an isle and grab something, and my checkout person had all my things ring up for me and bagged! Also, great selections of ready to go food, plus a full bakery and coffee shop!I could spend all day in this store. Not kidding. No shame 🤩
Its one of the smaller whole foods with quality hot food. I enjoyed the vibe of the people working there.
Conveniently located in the north loop. Clean, wide variety of special grocery and produce items as well as supplements, soap, some clothes, natural makeup brands, and assorted healthy living items. Comfortable interior with a fairly intuitive layout. Love this place. Also has seating for eating from the deli and stuff.
Great store! Love the underground parking too!
Great place to shop. They have a parking ramp under the building.
I used Amazon to place my order for the first time. With a busy weekend it made getting everything done so much easier. Definitely do the early check in, my cart was waiting for me when I walked in. Super clean, super easy. I will do this again !
They have great items I needed a vase and found just what I wanted fare price $12.99
The device was great, but they didnt have the product I was looking.
Great, food ideas. Of all kinds.
One stop solution for all your groceries and more. Amazing range of Organic products.
Your average Whole Foods in a city can be found here on the corner of Hennepin and Washington in Minneapolis. The food is very good but of course a bit pricey. My favorite people to interact with work in the bakery, and I’m not sure if that says more about me or them
Not a regular Whole foods customer. I found the selections limited and overpriced. For high-end experience, Kowalskis is vastly better. Plenty of better mid-tier options.
Since Amazon took the store/brand I dont like it anymore. It was the only place I did my shopping. The salad bar was better than a restaurant. Now Im disappointed!
Amazon owned, so I dont know. I Like the kale option.
This is Whole Foods flagship store in MN and it shows in the general design and layout of the store. Its more spacious than any of the Minneapolis locations and I feel its easier to shop. However, with that said, it is also extremely busy on Sundays and the addition of anywhere between 10 and 30 Amazon Shoppers also in the store, at times it can be overwhelming.
They rarely have the specialty (or even basic!) items that I am looking for. For example, gelatin, vanilla powder, and virtually anything in the deli. Last week I was looking for a Ruby Port to make a port wine syrup, they didn’t have that either. It is very conveniently located to our downtown residence, so I’m in rather frequently to pick up an item or two. More often than not I leave disappointed.Other items they haven’t had: iceberg lettuce, French onion chip dip.
I just like the different fruits and vegetables that they have
Always a great experience, and always easy to get in and out (even with some unexpected items in your cart...). Big surprise here for first time shoppers, is the amazing flower selection and the price that goes with it. I try to bring flowers to the Ms. weekly and this is where I keep within my budget. Love my WF!
If you want pizza, dont go here because theyll only have some gluten-free vegan pizza and theyll say 20 minutes for something with meat, if youre lucky. Any time after 7pm they probably wont have anything at all, maybe a lonely piece of cheese.Update: added a shot from noon on a Thursday. They had a couple of slices of meat but this place is gross. What a joke.
Staff was great most of the items that are at other whole foods are there its clean..
Can’t believe they don’t play music in the liquor store? It’s a bit awkward and kind of a drag
Awful. Ignored by staff while trying to ask where certain items may be. Also a manager followed my friend and I watching our every move as if we were thieves. The entire incident upset me. Im still emotional over it
Great prices!!! I like prices cheap but they have been replacing brands i like with 365 product s and the produce although cheaper has sometimes been sub par to local co-ops or even costco in taste and quality. They have less local products on their shelves than in the paste;(
Good, healthy products. Fresh produce. Best organic ketchup! I really miss its fabulous salad bar, closed since COVID-19. It would get 5 stars if not owned by Amazon!
Not as good as it use to be before amazon took over. Sad.
If you want to shop in a Prime fulfillment warehouse then this is the place for you. Lots of empty shelves and the Prime workers practically run you over as you try to shop.
Cashier went above and beyond. Nice store layout. Pretty easy to get into for a downtown location.
Great place to pick up your needs
I appreciated all of the organic foods and materials that were available.
I travel with a big shopping hand cart, as I take the bus and the train. Whole Foods Market no longer has a dining area with chairs and tables to sit on. After I paid for everything, the manager provided me with a chair and allowed me to sit in the check out area to load up my cart, which took a considerable amount of time. I appreciate Whole Foods Market for accommodating me, as I do have a disability and really need to sit down to do the packing of my cart.Thank you, Whole Foods Market, for being friendly, helpful and having great food items.
Layout is great, foods are almost always perfect, and of course theres a ton to choose from! I wish the staff were a tad more knowledgeable and available, but I also understand thats its super busy when I go, and theres too much to know about all their products!
Clean store and helpful staff.
Quick mix hummus is delicious.
There is no friendly feel . Unwelcome from the security guard to all the cashier, customer service they are rude !! only the meat department employees are ok . I do alot of time groceries this store after work but Im tired the way they treat customers ! 2 years ago they was doing good Not anymore.
Great place to get veggies and fruit.
I love a shirmp it.
Easy to find. Well laid out with excellent selection of everything I needed. Free parking under the store. Clean and compliant with COVID protocols.
Small variety, not good customer service
Decent whole foods, tho the st louis park location is a better one
If your looking for high quality foods around Downtown, this is your place to get it. Wonderful quality of goods and a wonderful set of services from fresh baked goods, to quick prepared dishes made in store. Our friends at whole foods make sure you get the best at a darn great price. Do not skip out on their lunches either, as they are a wonderful bite to get during this time or any other. Bon appetit!
Called ahead of time to ensure there was pizza and was told they stop serving it at 8. Got there almost an hour before 8 and they already closed down everything.
I was shopping for Brandy tonight in the liquor store and the cheapest bottle was $30+ and it was wierd, exotic never-heard of brands. Wheres the E. & J. ? Wheres the Christian Brothers? And why is no bottle of Brandy under $10? I understand this is Whole Foods Market liquor store, but offer some affordable Brandy liquor options.
We had a poor experience with our online order in which we ended up waiting WAY too long due to a system error, subsequently a confusion with the names of the order. We waited an hour for our online pick up order, which was extremely frustrating because we could have done our own shopping at that point. Lucas, who was working at the floral department, stepped in without us even asking. He observed what had transpired and offered to provide us with a gift card for our troubles. We did not ask to be compensated, but Lucas was proactive and rectified the situation. We appreciate the fantastic customer service provided by Lucas and hope management will recognize him for a job well done!! Thank you.
Stepped in this store for the first time. I felt eyed down and stared at. No friendly greeting, no salutations, no thank yous. Instead, I get two employees staring at my items while I scanned each one. I guess they thought I was going to steal. You should never judge a book by its cover. That person could be someone who held 20% of your stocks. Anyway, Ive dropped them after this experience.
Great downtown location.
Was actually forced to go to Whole Foods downtown Minneapolis to find a head of radicchio, but they were out of the radicchio!Which meant that I walked a six block round trip while hobbling along on my walking stick without finding a city bus stop. This was the first time that I had returned to Whole foods since they were bought out by the disgusting multinational company named amazon! And, no I will not return to Whole foods ever again...Whole foods you failed me when you sold yourselves to amazon, you failed me when you were out of the salad staple of radicchio.Bye-bye Whole foods!
Best seafood place to go in the twin cities
Some one squeezed my produce, and put a dent in it in front of me.
Check the expiration dates. Some things still on the shelves are expired or nearly so.
All right wish they had a little more non organic stuff fie the regular folks.
I would like to start this by stating that I have had nothing but pleasant interactions with the staff at this Whole Foods. My lone issue (and its a big one) is with upper management at this store and their various policies about the restroom. For a place that ENCOURAGES YOU to dine in and eat off their hot bar, they CONTINUALLY close the restroom to patrons. May be open one day, then closed the very next. Not for repairs or anything, just because they dont feel like having it open. I understand that this is a downtown location and there are MANY people that would go in to solely use the restroom without buying anything, but give a key, hire security, do something. I work on the other side of downtown and am about a 15 minute walk to work during my lunch.Theres absolutely zero consistency on this policy whatoseover, so the only thing to expect is the unexpected. They started pulling this during the winter before COVID hit and after the last time (January or early Feb), I hadnt been back...until last night. They have a few hot sauces that I love and cannot get anywhere else, so I stopped in to get them. AGAIN, the bathroom was closed. The girl was very polite in telling me so and I politely asked her why, but she told me that she was given no explanation to the public.I was already done EVER buying off the hot bar after they were pulling this stunt during the winter, but I now found those same aforementioned hot sauces on Amazon and this Whole Foods will not receive another dollar from me again.
Very fresh goods
Underground parking is a huge plus here in the winter time. Great staff and super clean
Great place to shop! Bob the supervisor does an excellent job! I recommend shopping for groceries here!
Whole Foods is fine. Pretty crowded location. Parking was irritating!
Staff is awesome they are handling the pandemic amazingly and the location is convenient
It was a great experience
Awsome experiencefrom beginning to end.Look forward to going back!
Love whole foods! The quality of the food and the service is always great!
BEWARE! THIS STORE HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED ALL BATHROOMS TO THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!I have been a long time WF shopper and frequented this D/T location spending thousands of dollars every year buying organic products. Up until today, I can say I was mostly satisfied with my experience. Today was a very, very, sad day, as I see it, for the entire human race based on what happened and how I was treated. COVID-19 has taken over peoples minds in their ability to critically do any sort of thinking anymore to the point where their decisions, actions, and responses to others (who are still HUMAN beings) have become ROBOTIC and w/o empathy to a human beings basic needs. Im sure the founders of COVID-19 are ecstatic to see their plan at work in brainwashing the human minds, as they have managed to coerce so many (even smart) people to no longer be able to think for themselves, to know right from wrong, and to have compassion to care for one another anymore. Can you imagine if you are the one with a situation or have medical needs and no access to the restroom? This complaint comes as a warning to anyone who has bladder or bowel disorders or disease or children or maybe even become sick to their stomach and needs to vomit...BEWARE! THIS STORE HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED ALL BATHROOMS TO THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!This is a grocery store, in a downtown location with no other public restrooms anywhere, in a State with frigid temperatures and inclimate weather...not sure what this store manager is thinking, but, clearly, the problem is, hes not!BEWARE! THIS STORE HAS PERMANENTLY CLOSED ALL BATHROOMS TO THEIR LOYAL CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!
A little busy and tight layout for coronavirus standards, but overall pleasant.
Love this place! It’s walking distance from everything but when I’m feeling lazy I can drive and they have convenient parking! Everything is fresh and easy to find! Definitely my first choice for groceries
Ive been shopping at Whole Foods for 20 years and I have always love the community, friendly feel. Grocery shopping at Whole Foods has been a highlight of my week, often exchanging hellos with neighbors and people working in the store. Its definitely one of the reasons that I shop there. I also love the products they carry and the food quality. Prior to moving downtown I shopped at the Uptown and St. Paul locations (love them both). However; over the past year or so, theres no friendly feel. From the security guard in the front by the carts, the people handing out masks, the cashiers, the stockers, and customer service workers, I rarely get a friendly greeting. When I give eye contact, say hello, or ask how someone is doing, the response is usually short and like I am intruding. What happened to friendly customer service and a community feel? **I have encountered a few friendly produce workers and the seafood guy today was super helpful and kind but unfortunately this is rare. The security guards are always on their phones! So is the mask hander-outer. Seriously!! Like head down DEEP into their phone. They are the first point of contact. How about a friendly greeting instead!? Ive had enough. There are plenty of friendly grocery stores out there. Its time to find a new one. The Whole Foods Downtown Minneapolis is seriously depressing.
This Whole Foods is a smaller whole foods and has a decent selection of groceries. However, it not as expansive as other grocery stories and a bit pricier.
