Had a great experience for my first time. Very clean shop with lots of items to look at. I was extremely happy to see that they sold Fred Solls incense, since it is a bit harder to find shops that carry this type. Staff was very friendly too!I wish I could have ventured around the shop to check out the tarot and jewelry but understandably, because of COVID, there are current restrictions. However the staff was very helpful at pulling items of interest out for me to look at.Will definitely be back for another visit, thank you!

Was great until my last visit where I was standing in the checkout for 4 minutes literally started laughing out loud because there were FOUR people at the register ignoring me. 🖤 good selection, if you buy a bracelet and it breaks they’ll ask you to pick up every single bead instead of exchange. I love this store. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. I do miss being able to walk around and browse the entire store however. The shortened front section is annoying and really limits the products you can peruse. You have no idea what to ask for if you have no idea whats there.

I purchased a few items a little less than a week ago, and returned today because I was concerned about the authenticity of one crystal. I kindly received additional education which is much appreciated. However, I decided to return the item and another employee was talking under her breathe saying “I don’t want to dealWith this”. I am sorry I didn’t receive a receipt when I purchased the item and I would have even accepted store credit or an exchange item. I am sure most people enjoy going to this store but my second experience there was unnecessarily passive aggressive.

Friendly service, very clean and organized, great location. Im not a huge fan of the new layout l, though, and it feels a bit sterile in there now.

Very COVID friendly and they still have all of their inventory available. They have great resources for those who are looking into Wicca or Witchcraft. A large selection of crystals and herbs. It was a great experience and will be going back!!

Ive been shopping at Eye of Horus Metaphysical for many years, and they continue to be amazing. They have everything from Tarot Cards, to Crystals/Stones, books on the Metaphysical, incense, and even items that might be considered more obscure! I highly recommend the store. It was fast, and Im happy with what we got (incense) the only issue I could have is that you cant actually do any browsing. They run and get the stuff for you. But the workers are very nice and I suppose its better for covid... I fully recommend it!

Best energy Ive found so far in the cities. When Im looking for my crystals i am looking for good energy, otherwise its very distracting and i dont want to stay. Considering the circumstances of precautions due to pandemic, and not being able to explore as much as Id like, they are still so positive and the vibe is good.

The quaint shop was crowded but clean and ordered. It was staffed with friendly, patient, and knowledgeable. And the merchandise wondrous.

I almost always enjoy my visits to Eye of Horus Metaphysical. However, this time they were very low or limited on their supply of incense which was the primary reason for my visit. I will follow up again at the end of April hoping to replenish my supply of incense.

Eye of Horus is a magical place tucked away in the uptown area, I found myself transported to a mystical land that I would typically only expect in a game of 5e, but more magical than the friendly atmosphere or the lovely SCP adoring employee who helped me select stickers, is the commitment to saftey during these trying time in a global parallelogram. The store has a long standing commitment to saftey since the onset of Covid, for both their employees and customers.Random cool note for comic fans that visit, the building featurea a mural on one side, featuring the likes of Jubilee, Iceman, and Tora aka Ice from the 90s Justice League/Justice League international, a fact that only served to further endear me to this charming curio.

Taking covid very seriously but still has all their stock available. They were amazing and kind and offered to order a book for me they no longer had after the customer before me. There was a line to get in as theyre limiting people in the shop so dress warmly and have an idea of what youre looking for beforehand!

What a great unique experience!

They seemed to have a wide collection of spiritual things, but kept most of the store closed off, which doesnt make sense because theres more people in a smaller space, and its much harder and kind of awkward to shop because you have to tell them what you want and they bring it out to you. Metaphysical stores in my opinion are the kind of stores you have to browse to get the best experience, and the store being 90% closed off due to covid seems kind of counterproductive.I asked for sage and the only sage they had apparently was sacred white sage, which is endangered and is used as a closed practice in the indigenous community. Any metaphysical store that ignores closed practices and appropriates indigenous culture (by the way, I didnt see a single native person working) doesnt know what theyre doing.Finally, as I was checking out to buy a single bag of herbs, I was told at the last second after I tried to pay with my card that there was a $5 minimum for paying with cards, and that in order to buy the herbs, I had to buy something else. Kind of inconvenient how the cashier told me that right after I tried to pay and gave me no warning so I had to awkwardly walk away.I dont like leaving negative reviews but I had to write this one for people who like to explore metaphysical/crystal shops in MN and were excited to look into this one, like me. In my opinion its not worth it.

Amazing place, lots of choices between crystals, books, candles, and more. They will assist you in what you´re looking for. Usually not too busy, so you don´t have to worry about what time to go. Highly recommend!

Small business, but high quality. Excellent service, very friendly and informative staff. Several tarot decks in stock, and several can be ordered. If they dont have an item, they will research ordering it for you. Loads of books especially on magic, as well as items of the differing crafts. Crystals/stones of a decent variety. They also normally have dousing rods and pendulum. Great variety of items. Highly recommended!

I called in advance to see if reservations were needed to shop, and I was told I didnt need them for the time of day I was going to be there. I had no idea that you couldnt wander around the store to shop, you had to know what you were looking for and the workers would bring it to an area for you to view it. I really feel like that couldve been mentioned up front during my inquiry about shopping reservations.. From the moment I stepped in the store I got a very negative vibe from the female employee helping me. I felt like I was a burden. I can understand covid restrictions but I cannot understand poor communication and bad attitudes from employees.

Very helpful staff and all very knowledgeable! I went with friends to get Tarot cards and they helped us find the perfect deck. Also they have adjusted their shopping experience a bit for safety reasons around COVID-19 and they made it so easy, safe, and fun!

I went to browse and the girl at the counter was rude and made me feel like a burden. I asked if there was more inexpensive items because the prices are extremely high especially for how small they are and she just said no and looked at me like i’m broke. I got a reading and it was inaccurate, very unfulfilling and not much help. It was the worst reading i’ve gotten (no offense) even though i really tried to resonate and cooperate. The girl who did my reading was very kind but her intuition or connection with tarot did not work for me.

Zach is very ego centered and does not handle feedback easily! He is very unprofessional and rude!After having a reading done with him, I realized he is not caring to help you with your questions! he’s just trying to do his job and get paid. At the same time, he thinks he is above everyone else, and he can just ban people from getting readings done at this store!There are others in this store however, that Are caring and passionate about their readings. I however don’t remember their names…The store manager/owner is the best in regards to card readings and insight she is 100% accurate and I would recommend her over anyone else that’s doing card readings in that store! However, I Was told that she no longer does personal readings.The person that is behind the cash register is very rude and stuck up(I don’t know his name, But he has longer hair, If that helps.) I do not feel that he should be working there. For he needs to be more respectful to those that are seeking clarity and buying items from the store! He appears to be very judge mental.

The staff is very helpful in finding what I need, they always have great suggestions for me and are very knowledgeable. They have a good selection of books and an inspiring selection of tarot decks. I love the incense they sell, thy have a couple of different lines of product. They have various stones and crystals, classes on various subjects, other miscellaneous items you absolutely need to have. They have a staff of readers that perform a variety of readings. All in all, a great place to get the items you need to practice your craft.

This is a place you should go to learn about other religious practices including druid, wiccan, and witchcraft. They offer endless resources for many religious practices and metaphysical studies. They also stock most necessary supplies for the practice.

I work at t mobile and have to follow stricter guidelines but I never make people feel the way they make you feel.It was a women reddish hair I believe. Its not a huge deal but as a first time customer the energy I received seemed like I was unwelcomed and I would love to support a local business. Small store with a large selection. Very helpful staff. Lots of Tarot including open demo decks so you can see how the cards look and shuffle. They also have a large selection of crystals, rocks, and minerals as well as herbs. A smaller, but interesting book selection. A decent selection of jewelry. Some nice candles. We went here as a birthday request of my eldest. This is the second year in a row that we went here as a birthday request, so it must be good.

You walk in and there is a barrier blocking the whole store, they wont even let you look around and pick what you want to purchase.

Because they wont even let you walk through the store, its because of covid-19 but it still makes no sense, because why would you have a whole bunch of people bunched up in one small space

Always has access to a large number of demo tarot and oracle decks so its possible to get a feel of the cards before you buy a sealed deck.

With a wide variety of herbs and semiprecious gems this shop is great for your magickal needs. They have a decent library and also offer a larger assortment of tarot decks than most other places Ive visited.

Cool gemstones, Tibetan bowls, and pendulums to play with... get an aura photography session. the psychic dude who does the aura photos, Bobby, is right on the dot scary accurate...and you get a snazzy photo that has pretty colors too.

I love this shop. Its cozy and the people working here are always very helpful. The shop is small but there is a lot to see, feel, and smell. So take your time. If you have questions, just ask. There is always someone willing to help you!

If you plan to actually shop around, go to another store. I know Covid has places operating differently but theres no way to shop & enjoy the store with blockades & staff getting the items for you.

Its nice to have a small independently-owned fun store in the neighborhood. They have really cool statues hear of gods of various religions. It also has an incredible selection of incense. Definitely worth stopping in.

This wasnt her fault, I believe she was filling in to allow for a break. Overall, prices are fair, large quantity of items to browse. And staff is friendly. Would return.

I love going to Eye of Horus! The staff is super knowledgeable always gives great recommendations. I love that I feel so at home. Its nice that you are just able to browse and find all the hidden treasures. Ive enjoyed both of the readings that Ive had and I look forward to having more in the future. For someone who is a Druid with a solitary practice instead of being part of a coven its wonderful to have a place that I can go and receive services that I otherwise Im not able to get. I cant say enough good things!

The staff Gave me a bad energy feeling. In the rocks that I bought was fake I literally was a rock painted blue for my sapphire “gem” And they’re mostly from China so you know they’re fake

Wonderful experience! Absolutely lovely and knowledgeable staff that have cultivated a wonderful haven for the local metaphysical community. Excellent selections of literature, tarot, candles, stones, and more. The inventory changes frequently so there is always something new to discover on every visit. The readings and workshops are excellent and led by very caring experts.

We visited the store to purchase a gift, and were in compliance with all the store’s covid precautions. The employee behind the counter was immediately unwelcoming and rude. Had we not been visiting to buy a specific gift we would have left immediately. While this behavior is inappropriate in any environment, it was especially unexpected given the metaphysical focus of the shop. We will not be returning.
