Went there with an old beat up car but it ran pretty good until it was involved in an accident. I just wanted to get some type of estimate for some body work. I really got the not interested vibe from the guy that came out to look at the car, because went in the building for a call and never came back. I guess theyre in for big ticket items which sucks because I was hoping to stay local and get some work done on my other cars. Oh well someone else will get my business

I have been a customer at Oscar Auto Body for past 8 years for 2 Audis I have owned over the time. This is the ONLY body shop I use or will recommend. I trust their work and more confident if they are repairing my car as compared to any auto body shop. I trust them from simplest of work to highly complex ones. On top of that Ramin is a warm personality.

My old Saab 900 had been hit in the rear. The lift -gate trunk lid was was crushed. I went to several other body shops and Oscars was the most honest appraisal of all..My car was old and I didnt t expect much .But when I went to pick up the car I was amazed at the quality of the work;the trunk and the entire back of the car was like new. Dont go here. This establishment preys on a persons misfortune; they neglect to mention a credit card fee; they dont return calls; theyre rude. A wise investment on their part would be to enroll their employee, Reina, in a customer service program so she learns how to interact with customers in a professional, courteous way.

Im telling you I went to at least five other body shops in town and Ramin was the friendliest, most knowledgeable, and most importantly most affordable body shop I found.He will do everything in his power to work with you, and he knows a thing or two more about the technical repairs in servicing a car than a lot of other body shops I came across in the Twin Cities. These guys are just the absolute best. Five years ago I worked with them to get my bumper fixed and it was a dream. There was no stress, they worked with my insurance, and my car looked just like new at the end. Ramin made sure my priorities would match what they were doing (time vs cost vs quality) to the car. Most of the damage was covered by insurance so I picked quality but one crack was not so I picked cost. Even for an inexpensive fix to a cracked bumper, it looked great!This time I brought my Prius in for a bigger issue. Ramin is the nicest guy ever. My car ended up being totaled but he was so apologetic that he couldnt help and made sure I got my belongings from my car before insurance towed it away. Ramin and his whole staff really know what theyre doing and I will ALWAYS recommend them to people!

The best body shop in town

I have worked with Ramin for auto body work two times and I have been very impressed both times. Ramin is very professional, great communication skills. Very fair pricing and excellent results. Normally car maintenance and repair is stressful and a hassle for me, but it has been a pleasure working with Ramin.

Manipulative owner, First he convinced me they should take my car a part to get estimates, that should be the first flag. Normal body shop the will give you estimates price before they start the work, not this guy. Then he ask me to sign agreement so he can start the work. That should be the red flag 🚩. I signed and he started the work. Then he told me the parts has been discontinued. So he can’t fix the car. He told me to look for the part in junkyard or he can look for it but he will take a mark up. I’m like ok if that is the case I will take my car somewhere else and get fix. He told me I will be charged for one hour of labor. For them to take the driver side door panel off. I paid one hour labor but my car still not fix. In conclusion he should give me estimates first and then order the parts then start working on my car. Manipulative business man!I will not suggest anyone to go there.

I brought my car by Oscar Auto Body because it was one of the few body shops open on Saturdays. The staff took a very close look at our car with us and gave us an extremely detailed explanation of the entire process, what he could offer, and what to expect from the insurance company. We had initially contacted several different places for quotes, but we knew right away that this was the place for us. They kept us posted every step of the way via phone and email, even sending update pictures as work was done. We could not have asked for better service and were extremely satisfied with the finished product.

The bad news is that weve been here twice with my wifes car. The great news is that this auto repair place Oscars auto body doesnt work absolutely that is magical. the customer service is absolutely a 10 plus plus plus you will not be disappointed.for whatever its worth if you think you can get a better job at less price you should share it out loud but until then this is the best place I have ever come across in the Minneapolis metro area.

If your looking for top notch service and someone that knows what theyre doing then youre going to want to use Oscar Autobody. I got three estimates done and they were the only ones that informed me that my radar sensor may have to be recalibrated, letting me know off the jump that they knew what they were talking about. Not only did they fix my car per the estimate, they went above and beyond by repairing portions that were not included in the estimate as well as cleaning the entire car inside top to bottom. I am relatively new to the Twin Cities and didnt know much about auto repairs (never had to deal with them before), so I was nervous about where to go. I feel fortunate to have found this place. Oscar Auto Body was recommended to me by a mechanic friend. I had just totaled my car and was completely unfamiliar with the process and looking for advice. The car was towed to Oscar Auto Body, where they looked it over and gave candid and honest advice about what to do. In my case, it was not worth saving, and I was advised not to spend the money to try since it would not be a good investment in the long run.They even offered to let me keep the car there for a few days while I figured out where to sell or donate to.I was impressed by the kindness, helpfulness, and honesty, and would recommend it highly.

Ramin at the front desk was extremely helpful and thorough with the shops work. The car came back perfect. From beginning to end, he was extremely respectful and communicated developments as necessary. I dont want to get into another fender bender, but if I do, Ill feel much more comfortable knowing Oscar Auto Body will restore the car to like new.

Great body shop that Ive never seen the prices beat. We were recommended this place when we got our window smashed and the fix costed around $100 instead of way more elsewhere. Ive got a few other things done here since then and theyve always treated me right, done the job quickly and well for a price that other places cant beat. Im a big fan.

After reading all of the positive reviews, I decided to take my car to Oscars after denting my hood. Ramin was extremely friendly and explained ALL of the possible options - including what could go wrong. He completely understood when I didnt want to spend a lot of money (I have a 2001 Saturn), so he didnt try and sell other services. I was pleasantly surprised to find my car looking as good as it does after being roughed out. I would recommend Oscars in a heart beat. Everything about my experience was wonderful.

My bumper was hanging off on one side and splitting up the middle. I was afraid Id have to pay over $1000 (dealers quote) for full replacement but Oscars was able to reattach it for less than $200. They were easy to contact, friendly and responsive and my car looks great. I highly recommend this shop!

So I went to this shop due to their great reviews on YELP and GOOGLE. All I can say is WOW! THEY ARE WONDERFUL! They are so kind and helpful! Very long story short that insisted on fixing my car the RIGHT WAY even though the insurance company wouldnt! They went to bat for me with the insurance company(s) after I was rear ended on 35W. They fixed everything beautifully and correctly! They addressed and checked everyone of my concerns. They do a great paintjob with great color match. I am a very picky person when it comes to my car and they blew me away! Cant say enough good about these guys!

I didnt get my car serviced, but was given free advice after submitting photos via email. After talking to Ramin over the phone, I could tell there was a good reason they were given good reviews. He was patient enough to listen to my situation and respond with his advice. He let me email him with the photos of my car...Taking the time to do that really means something when everywhere else and everyone else is so impatient.

Great, friendly service. They’re not going to try to upsell you or try to get you to spend a fortune. I got side swiped and needed repairs. They helped me understand my options, explaining everything in plain english for a non “car guy”. They did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone I know.

I was in a serious bind. The car I had borrowed had a dent in the rear plastic bumper. I had brought it to a few shops and was told that I would probably have to replace the whole plastic panel. I was quoted at around 200 +labor. I drove around and was referred to Oscar Auto Body Inc. I called him and he told me to bring in the vehicle. I walked in and he checked out the bumper. He told me he would do it for 75 dollars. I was a little worried about discoloration but the gentleman was very up front about the pros and cons. Well, I just picked up the SUV (3/10) and it is FLAWLESS. I was so surprised by how it turned out. This is a quality shop and I will recommend this auto body shop to anyone who asks.

Ramin at Oscar Auto Body was extremely nice and helpful. He was happy to help me spend less money because I only wanted to fix my car functionally rather than cosmetically due to its age. I thought the work he did was affordable, reasonable, and exactly what I asked for. He helped arrange my pick-up with the rental car company, and talked me through the accident claim process (which was new to me). Their little store front has a very funky mom and pop feel that puts me at ease. I like their cactuses and the letters from happy past customers hung on the wood-paneled walls.

This was a few years ago now, but I dropped off my car at Oscars to get the windshield replaced. I brought my bike, planning to bike home, but the owner insisted on giving me a ride back to my apartment a couple miles away. Ill be coming back here when I need auto body work for sure.

Got into a small accident and a friend highly recommended Oscar Auto Body. Met with Rameen, Oscars son, who was very kind and explained all my options. After receiving a quote that was a lot cheaper then the other two (2) Id received, I decided on the spot to do business with this company. The repairs were done earlier than expected and were done beyond my expectations. When I arrived to pick-up my car, Rameen stated that he noticed my brakes were squeaking and that he went ahead and replaced them for me. The fact that I dont remember if he charged me for the work or not, says that if he did, it really wasnt that much.I would recommend Oscars to anyone looking for professionalism, proficiency and reasonable prices.

Ive never even had work done here, but I feel confident writing a review based solely on Ramins honesty - twice now he has advised me, and steered me elsewhere rather than going for a quick cash-grab. Three weeks back I totaled my 2015 Ford Focus with only 14k miles on it - I really wanted to repair it and in my head was willing to pour another $1500 back into it to do so. Ramin flat out told me, Im in the business of repairing them, not totaling them, and I cant honestly say this car will be safe again. He then didnt ask a dime for the teardown and assessment they did. I just told him he would have my future business, and that was enough. Class act.Today I called asking about a new ignition on another car, he said they werent able to do it (didnt ask me to bring it in, then charge some lame $40 diagnostic fee either). He then referred me to Mpls lock and key where I got it fixed for $75 instead of the $350 the Ford dealership wanted. Rest assured, if I ever need work done, Ramin will be my first call.

This has been a rough year for me and my car(s). Accidents are not fun. Ramin is honest, kind, and patient. He will LISTEN to you give you a range of options depending on what you need. Drive an old beater? Maybe all you want is preventative work and you dont need it to look perfect (which by the way saves a ton of money). Ramin is going to tell you that option exists for you. Hes actually going to take the loss to save you money. I dont know what the handful of negative reviews are from, but I certainly tell you they are unwarranted. I wish there were more people committed to providing service like Ramin and Oscar, and I will not go anywhere else. Period. Oh and by the way I was NOT paid to write this review, but rather inspired after reading what are clearly vindictive reviews based on nothing but some creeps angry personal agenda.

There isnt a catch! Ramins top priority is helping his customers, and it really shows. He knows his stuff, charges low prices for stellar work, and he listens to and does what you want. (Thats a really rare combination, especially in the auto repair industry.) He takes pride in his work and wants you to be delighted - and I am. (Im a car guy, so when I tell you hes good - Im not just hoping, or guessing!) Ill bring my car back here again for anything, but if you were in an accident and just want your car back the way it was - however you define that, functionally and/or cosmetically - Oscars is absolutely the place to turn. I could not be more thrilled with the work of Ramin and his highly skilled team. My car was in bad shape, but Ramin is an expert in the field and he created an easy to follow plan. I went there and because I have an older vehicle, the guy said they only do newer foreign cars because their paint costs about $3,000 so they wouldnt do a paint job for me. Didnt make any sense but ok..
