Ive been going to Hawkins for my routine car maintenance for years. They do a good job, for sure, but I keep coming back because theyre always so nice to me! I dont know anything about cars and am completely content with that. They are always willing to explain things when I have questions, but mostly I just trust them to give me their advice and direction on how to take care of my car. They are really just the greatest crew over there!

They fixed my truck but used a part with the same flaw that caused my truck to break in the first place. I asked them about using an OEM part before they did the service but they assured me the part they use would be fine. Several thousand miles later, the symptoms leading up to the issue have returned. I didn’t pay a good chunk of the value of the truck to have this fixed only for it to go bad again within a couple years.

I have been going to Hawkins for years. The other day, I went to get an oil change. When I walked in, all three mechanics up front were not wearing masks. I cancelled my appointment and walked out. They do good work but I cannot go back due to the disregard to the health of others. Be aware of this if you have immune issues or concerns regarding Covid. Thanks.

As a used car owner, Ive been happy with their repair work for years. After describing one of my cars problems to Brian, he realized that it might be from a bad part that could still be under warranty. He made sure I got the warranty coverage I didnt even realize I had and saved me a lot of money. When I was considering buying a used car, I took it to them to get inspected first. They found one significant yet fixable problem and gave the rest of the car a clean bill-of-health. When I took their report back to the dealer I got the problem fixed for free and was able to make a good car purchase with peace of mind. I would definitely recommend them.

I have been coming to Hawkins for 19 years - since I moved to the neighborhood. Someone recommended them back then, and I havent gone anywhere else. They are a great group of guys, super friendly, with fantastic service and very good prices. Anything from an oil change to new brakes to figuring out the strange noises my car makes. Wouldnt go anywhere else!

Solid local automotive shopwe found out about them shortly after moving into our new neighborhood. Since then I have found them to be dependable, fairly priced, and relatively easy to access. They are ASE certified for all the major brands.

This is a decent neighborhood garage!I would recommend this location however Im not as satisfied as I was before with the work. it is very hard to find an automotive repair shop that I trust as much as them Im this area! The prices are reasonable! Today repair personnel are very good at what they do.

Brought my car in with a flat tire. A couple hours later my tire was patched and ready to pick up. Price was great as well. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I will definitely be back when I have more repairs. Highly recommend!

Friendly, professional and honest ! They made a diagnostic on a problem that I did not need to fix as I was told in another car shop and I saved a lot of money. They also taught me how to check on it in case that it becomes a problem. Highly recommended ! I am very pleased ! I will be taking my car to this shop in the future.

This shop is great. I originally went there in the 90s and they did great work with no attempts to pressure me into more than I needed. Through no fault of their own I hadn’t used them again until recently and was so happy to find that their business practices haven’t changed.

Ive been very happy with the work Ive had done at Hawkins. Great prices - They charged me $580 for a job quoted to me at over $900 elsewhere. They also dont try to talk me into things I dont really need.

I had plastic hanging from the bottom of my car that was scraping against the ground that i wanted removed. I spoke with a mechanic i knew to get an estimate, (last year Midas reattached it for free), who told me it would cost little to nothing.Went to this place because it was very close to my house instead of my regular spots, and they charged me around 50$ for something that took around 15 minutes give or take. I told them to take it out, and they convinced me the plastic is super beneficial (something all the other mechniacs and Midas last year told me doesn’t matter too much).They said it was around 36$ just to “put my car up” and charged me for bolts and labor. I called a few other places just to get price estimates, Midas, Nelson’s and Worku and they told me they would’ve done it for free had I went there. The guy at this place never told me the price up front or how much i would be charged for it and i was very surprised my the cost.That was definitely my last time going there and i wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a fair price. The people at Nelson’s are amazing, super helpful, and have done so many minor things for me and my friends without charge. Check them or Worku or even Midas out instead.

Been going here since bruce Rankin owner the place, service was already wonderful now it has gotten even better! They’ve worked on my Volvo S80 back when Bruce was around.
