I havent even brought my car in yet to be worked on but I talked with Greg who didnt seem in a rush to get me off the phone, told me all possible options, and even walked me through pricing. I have a hard time trusting places but after that call I feel super good about this location. I will definitely be letting you know how the service goes.

Called around looking for a price check on some repairs. Gorshe had the best price and tells it to you straight. Good to talk to and explains whats going on. Talks to you like a real person, which is certainly above the bar as far as mechanics go. Would recommend.

Went to see my daughter on campus, after which, my car wouldnt start. Friendly Minnesotan jumped my car, then I drove to nearest auto shop, Gorshe. Luck was on my side that day!! They greeted me right away and helped me on the spot. Checked my battery, and replaced it. Very helpful, friendly, knowledgable, honest service station!!! Highly recommended!! While some of my past cars get a one star rating, this place can have my 5 star rating and recommendation. I have used them a lot with my Audis. They have been kind and helpful. They remember me and my children. I bring my Honda there less frequently, but they have not forgotten me. They do work that never requires a second thought. Honest, and when youve paid to fix it, its fixed.

Honest, reasonably priced, knowledgeable. As a woman I highly recommend them. You can feel confident that they are taking care of you as if you were family. They always tell me my options -if there are any! Greg and Nick are both great. Theyve been keeping my cars going since 1995 (my husbands since 1990!). When we buy used cars we always bring them to Gorshe to check out before we hand over the cash. I refer everyone to them!

I saw one review that said they are expensive. I totally disagree. I have checked them against competitors and have always found them to be the least expensive. Im always happy with the work. The only negative is they are small so it can be difficult to get in quickly, but Ill take that to go to someone I trust and fell is reasonable. Also my patents used then since I was a kid, our or family had been happy with Gorshe for decades.

My late husband and I have taken both cars here and love the service! My car needing more service then his but only because there has been issues with my 2007 VW Bugs headlights and the way they are situated/placed. They are so personable and honest! I will continue to take my car there!

Gorshe fixed my car quickly, were upfront about costs, and were very friendly. They did not try to tack on additional charges or make unnecessary repairs like some other shops in the Cities. I will definitely be returning to Gorshe if I have car issues in the future.

Gorshe auto is the best! The mechanics are so kind and helpful! I took my car in get my window fixed and was out in less than 10 minutes! And it was fixed! And I am not over using exclamations because the place is simply fantastic. They were booked 3 days in advance and someone still found time to help me out on the spot. Christmas Eve I called to get a diagnostic ran for a problem with the car. I didn’t catch his name but was told they couldn’t get me in today but told me a few ways I could maybe find the problem myself. Through the ways he described I was able to find the problem and fix it. Thanks guys!

Fixed my tie rods up really quick and were really friendly. Showed me what else was wrong with my vehicle but let me decide when to fix it. Definitely recommended.

Rip off:He charged me $200, just for lubricating and adjusting the brake calipers.And he couldnt diagnose a rotational noise from front tires. it was just the unevenly worn tires - I later found from the dealer and fixed it.Would never ever go the independent repair shops. I prefer DIY, chain or dealer.

Gorshe deserves a hard 5 stars. The mechanic who worked on my Yukon told it to me straight and went above and beyond to determine what my car needed for the lowest price. When the next step in trouble-shooting cost $900 in labor alone, he warned me upfront and told me that the engine cleaner might do the trick. And it did. He drove my car on the highway to test whether the stalling issue could resolve without the costly repairs, and I do not believe other auto repair shops would’ve taken this step. He even took the time to explain the issue over the phone to my dad, as we’ve been burned by dishonest repair shops before. Truly an honest, stand-up guy. I am going straight to Gorshe for all future auto repair needs.

Ive brought two cars here over ten years after finding them recommended by Car Talk listeners. I take care of most maintenance myself, but Gorshe is my go-to for repairs that are over my head. They are prompt, honest, and thorough.

Nice place. The staff there was nice, honest, and responsible. My first experience in Gorshe was for sharp noise in the brake. Another auto service store i visited before Gorshe told me nothing was wrong on the brake and it took me around $40 for the inspection. But the staff in Gorshe later found out dust in it and helped me clean it out, and only took around $40. Certainly, Gorshe staff is more experienced.The recent time i went there was for changing the oil. They helped me found out a screw in the tire which would result in deflation of the tire. The solved it by a simple plugin. They also found out the problem of the sockets of my driver headlight and told me i should take care of it. They are experienced and responsible people, and tried their best to provide the best quality of service.

I came here after University Auto tried to charge me $150 and wait 8 hours to pick up my car to change a headlight, I pulled into this shop and the mechanic dropped everything he was doing and helped me right away. Very reasonable pricing, and great service.

Staff here is very professional and accommodating. And the mechanics always go out of their way to explain the repair and show you the broken parts. No taking it at their word. They also gave me a free engine diagnosis too. Theyre all very friendly too. Spend probably 20 Minutes just chatting with them when I pick up my car. New long time customer

Family has been patronizing the Gorshes for at least two decades. Theyve kept our 93 Toyota Corolla running for over 400,000 miles and counting - still driving it to and from work daily! Friendly, competent, and personal service is what anyone can expect when bringing hos or her vehicle into Gorshe Auto Service.

For the past 28 years, Ive relied on Gorshe Auto to maintain and fix my cars. Ive had three in all that time, a 1990 Honda Civic Wagon (purchased new), a 1998 Subaru Impreza, and a 1998 Honda Odyssey that I am driving today. Ive never been stranded, and I give full credit to Gorshe for giving me enough warning to fix big problems before they became catastrophic, while keeping the regular service costs low enough that Im not tempted to delay those visits. I recommend Gorshe to my friends and family, assuming they have the right size car (the racks wont accommodate the largest trucks and SUVs), and the feedback I get is respectful treatment, competent work, fair price.

Ive been going to them for over 45 years since student at Univerdity. When came home to visit from Nova Scotia and Michigan, Id bring in the cars for service. Found that they have been honest, friendly, prompt and affordable. Theyve taken care of my VWs, Chevrolet, Audi, Volvos, Honda, and Toyota. Only time I go elsewhere is for new dealer free maintenance or recalls.Have had many friends and family use their services as well. I gave really heard very little negative and then very minor complaints such as no waiting area, etc. Hardly worth the trade-off of nice chairs, coffee, and TV for honest dependable service.Hope theyre around as long as long as I own and drive cars!
