Every time I have needed same day help, I have received it. A month ago, I was told that a rear brake light was out. My car doesn’t alert for that. I called, brought my car in and it was replaced in an hour. I get the same service for oil changes and regular maintenance.

Was on my way to celebrate Christmas Eve with my family when my cars tires felt off on the highway. Went to this place looking to get one tire filled up and got the extra mile for it. Adrian took time out of his day to help me right away, even when the place was understaffed. Found out all my tires where low. Filled them up and didn’t even charge me. Blown away by the guys working that day and their generosity!

Recently had some leaking in my rear tires that I needed fixed. When I called, they were super prompt and helpful! The receptionist was incredibly nice and explained everything to me. After all was said and done, the repair was a super reasonable price to fix. I would definitely recommend them and I will for sure use them for any other repairs I may need.

The waiting are is comfortable with courtesy coffee and a clean restroom.Prices are well in line with what you would expect. Some parking on premises, but most spots are for drop off or appointment vehicles. Street parking and a lot behind the facility are also available. They also have a courtesy shuttle for the drop off customers, as well as picking up customers when their vehicle service or maintenance is done.Appointments are highly encouraged as they always have a steady stream of customers. We have used Edina Tire and Auto for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. On this visit they did an oil change, investigated and fixed the source of an oil leak, and on their own initiative identified a serious issue with the front brakes, a developing issue with a rear shock and a loose connection on the muffler system. They emailed a detailed write-up of the estimated costs for doing the repairs, then called to talk us through each item. We agreed to go forward with a couple and they completed the work that afternoon. While they are not your cheapest option they are worth every penny.

This place is the greatest. Their staff (particularly Don) deals with customers with incredible integrity and professionalism. They’re smart, effective and provide you with the information you need to make a good decision.

I had a flat on my Tahoe today. I pulled into the store, the people met me in a very friendly way. They took my truck in and $32 later and 30 minutes later I got my truck back. They even gave me a FREE car wash. I thought the service provided was really fast and good and the free car was was un expected and a super nice gesture. I would go to these guys any time!

I always get great service and have been a customer for years. My last visit one of the techs took time to answer questions and give advise on a vehicle purchase I will be making soon. A top notch company with top notch people.

I rarely review places because I never have too much to say. Im making a point to review these guys. Was seriously the best experience Ive ever had with an Auto place. They fixed the problem in about half the estimated time and couldnt have been anymore straight forward or nicer. Seriously, you couldnt ask for better (or more honest) service anywhere.These are the type of people who treat you like a human being and are straight forward. They will explain issues with detail if youre uneducated about them and will not take advantage of you. Its like asking your dad to help fix your car. You know hes going to do it to the best he can to keep you safe and moving.Will definitely be a returning customer and will tell my friends. Sometimes youre better off at the mom and pop type garages. This was the best case scenario, hands done.(Service was replacement valve core on tire)

I needed to put new tires on my ATV rims. I tried a couple other places closer to home and most did not do it and others had a week turnaround time. I called Edina Tire and Auto and spoke with Donnie. He said to bring them down and they would have them replaced in an hour. Donnie was great to work with and super helpful. Also, they were much cheaper than the other places that were going to take over a week to get the tires back. I will definitely be back to have other service done on my vehicles.

A tremendously great place. My car broke down on my way to a meeting. I pulled into there lot, explained the situation. They let me park my car in their lot all day. I was able to get to my meeting on time. I cant stress enough how superb their customer service was.

Don and his team are awesome! I took my SUV to another shop for an oil change and to check my brake fluid as the light was on. They changed the oil and topped off my fluids. The next day my brakes were almost down to the floor and the light was on again. I brought it back and they said someone had put oil in my brake fluid. This pretty much wipes out your entire brake system. When I told them it had just been here for an oil change they denied any responsibility. This didnt add up so I towed it to Edina Tire and Auto and Don went to work. He flushed the lines, removed contaminated parts and fixed my brake system for $1200. The estimate at the other shop was $4200. Don went even further and helped me get the other shop pay me back for his work. If youre looking for honest professional mechanics, this is your auto shop.

Had help from Don and Ben. Ive been getting auto service at this shop for at least 10 years. Recently bought a used (2011) SUV that had oil/grease spilled on electric components which Don repaired and cleaned to a pristine outcome. Very knowledgeable to consumers need of service with an understanding of budgets. Ben then helped me look under the hood for the service site to keep an eye on any future relapse.

Super happy with the service!I was struggling changing a license plate light bulb since the screws were rusty and barely there. After calling about 5 places, trying to do it myself and going to two places which flat out didn’t want to help, I came across this place and in less than an hour my problem was fixed!The price was more than fair and reasonable! I was involved in what was going on in order to take out the screws and given updates while waiting. I was there for about 30 minutes and I couldn’t have been more happier. Jordan, Jon and Emanuel took great care of my car last night when I called them about fixing a flat tire 20 minutes before closing time. They were more than willing to diagnose the problem and fix it quickly and effectively, and they stayed late to do so. They even handled my questions with honest and complete answers, taking the time to educate me about the cause of the flat and show me the repair process. That was a cool experience. I am greatly impressed by their level of customer service, maybe even more so because they are young guys. Ill be recommending this shop whenever I can and returning for additional services.

Just needed a quick fix - my rear license plate needed replacing and the screws were rusted on. They removed the screws and put on the new license plate quickly and for the lowest price I was quoted. All with great service. I also noted they have a nice waiting area.

I cant say enough good things about Edina Tire & Auto. We all want to be able to just bring our cars in, and get good, honest service without any hassle. And thats what I have been getting for several years. BUT, when things go wrong, you really learn about the integrity of a business! I had very expensive work done on my car, and a pretty short time later, the engine failed. I was livid that the issue Id paid a lot of money for didnt go away! I expected a hassle, I expected resistance, but what I got was extremely great care, several humble apologies, and every effort to rectify the situation to my satisfaction. Don was especially instrumental in making it all okay. You dont really know how great a business is until they handle a conflict, and although the conflict wasnt anything fun, it was certainly wonderful to know that Ive been giving my business to a great place. The employees should be proud of all the hard work they do. The owner should know that his employees are amazing and I hope he does!! Thank you Edina Tire & Auto!!

UPDATE: The General Manager - Don, reached out to me and truly tried to offer any help to make things right. I changed my review from a One Star - Three Stars just based on his approach of handling my complaint and simply going out of his way to make sure his customers are 100% satisfied. I will say though that they run their business in making sure that your vehicle does not leave their shop less than 100%. With that being said, they may take the more expensive route and with my experience, did not mention any alternative repairs that may be less expensive as a temporary fix. As with any repair though, its always a wise decision to receive a second inspection from another shop. Hope this has helped!

Went in simply for an oil change, and in return I got a damaged car. The garage door came down on my car as they were pulling it out, and broke a piece off my car. Now I have to drive a crappy rental they gave me while I wait for them to fix it. Was not even reimbursed for the oil change. They also lost my boyfriends keys for a day when he brought his car in to get fixed. I expect more reliability and professionalism from an auto shop. Therefore they have lost my trust and business.

They did a free battery test and confirmed that it was bad. Had a replacement on hand and were able to swap it right away. Excellent service and very helpful

If I didnt request to observe my cars tires being rotated in the shop, then they would not have followed Cadillacs recommended tire rotation method. The mechanic challenged my judgement until I showed him the website on my phone with the different tire rotation methods. He clarified with his boss, and said it would be fine. He didnt seem familiar with this relatively common rotation method, because he made a few mistakes placing the tires after I showed him the diagram. Otherwise the service was exceptional.

The service provided my Edina Tire and Auto is uniformly and consistently outstanding. Most recently, I brought my Audi TT into for an oil change and a complete check up. When I came to pick my car, Ben walked me through what they had found and actually advised that I should put off some repairs as they werent needed at the moment.

Had my tires balanced a couple weeks ago and then started having issues with my car wobbling while both driving and braking. Brought my car back in to have the balance rechecked. Not sure why they got re-balanced when the mechanic said it was spot on. Charged another 30 bucks. Going somewhere else from now on for my car repairs.

Wouldnt we just rather had spent that money on a nice dinner with the family, a new flat screen, or anything other than a car repair. Bottom line, as with any expensive thing that we own, if we want our vehicles to keep running well we need to get them fixed AND do the recommended service. We, the consumer, need to take responsibility! If its a particularly big job I suggest you get multiple bids as I did. Youll know you best choice right away by the vagueness of some quotes, the professionalism of the staff, the quality of the technicians, how long theyve been in business, or just simply the bottom line - which I might add isnt always the most important. Heck - you wouldnt bring your pooch into just any Vet. You wouldnt necessarily go to the cheapest place or particularly someone that wasnt professional. No you wouldnt. Youd want a place that was courteous, competent and well established, not one that treated you like a number, or were vague about the procedures. So we all need to find that great place to get our vehicles serviced. Someone we can trust! Someone to do the gob right! Someone who will fix the problems at hand correctly, guide you through the complexities of the repair and suggesting what industry recommendations show for you vehicle. Well Ive found that shop for my family - Edina Tire & Auto. I also recommend them to you. It took many years to find them. Im not going to fib and say I havent strayed from time to time, but Ive also regretted straying and I always go back. I do test them from time to time getting competitors bids and theyve never let me down. Did I enjoy spending the money - NO. Did I get a good value - YES. Were they professional, competent, courteous, and friendly - YES. Communication is the key and if you dont understand something or theres vagueness ask and be informed with what you expect to receive. Took my car in too have an estimate done because of the steering wheel shaking while driving and my fan no longer worked. Wanted to charge me $1400 so I decided to get a second opinion and when I went to pick up my car it wouldnt start. I was told they didnt know what happened to it and that I would have to have it towed and that they told me my battery was bad which they never did. I took it somewhere else and they told me that Edina Tire and Auto left my car in security mode so it wouldnt start because of that and that nothing was wrong with my battery. So they are liars and tried to get me to pay for stuff that wasnt even wrong. Dont waste your time and money with this place.

Spent 800$ for and alignment, new wheel and a control arm. The wheel they gave me was scratched and dinged, car still pulls tic the right, for some reason my ac is only blowing hot air and there’s a sticky residue all over my car

My last review was somehow taken down. Seems shady.I had this place try to rip me off by lying to me and telling me I needed new rear calipers, rotors and pads because the calipers supposedly stuck. I had a car renter leave the parking brake on slightly on my manual transmission car. They told me that the parking brake uses the rear calipers but that is not true. If the calipers were sticking, how would they stick equally and if not, why wouldnt the car pull to one side?My trusted mechanic in Burnsville just replaced the rear pads and everything is fine. If I had trusted Edina Tire and Auto I could have spent many hundreds of dollars for nothing.Dont go here.

Just got done adding air to my wifes tire for the 40th time. Tires were purchased from Edina Tire and Auto and the same one (Driverside rear) has leaked from day 1. Edina Tire has re-beaded this same tire at least 3 times with it always leaking air within a month. Who has time to continually bring thier vehicle in to have the same tire Fixed. We have been adding air to this ONE tire since the day we bought it. The shop did tell my wife over the phone once that they would replace the tire only to realize when dropping the vehicle off that it was no longer covered by the warranty and would be yet again re-beaded....I would write a longer review but its time for my once a month chore of adding air to the same tire that is once again at 15 psi while every other tire is at 30 psi.***UPDATE***Don and the Team at Edina Tire and Auto went above and beyond to fix this issue. After contacting them they provided me with a rental car at no charge while they fixed the issue. I cant say enough about the exceptional customer service Don provided in resolving this issue. You have a customer for life. Thanks again!

Horrible! I told them that the muffler was broken and wanted to know what it would cost to fix it. 63 bucks to tell me the cost of a new muffler! They never told me that it would be 63 bucks to look at an obvious issue and give an estimate. To make matters worst the estimate was a total rip off. $270 for a new muffler, I got the part online for 50 bucks, and 50 bucks for a neighbor to put it on. This shop wanted 450 for a job that took 20 minutes and cheaper parts are available.Only go here for repairs if you have money to blow.AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

I live in Eagan MN and drive across town to have all my vehicles serviced and repaired by Edina Tire and Auto. Don, Joe, Ben and the techs are great. They may not be the cheapest but you get what you pay for. We plan on keeping all our vehicles until they are completely dead and with that knowledge the shop can recommend what repairs we need, what quality of parts to use, and what repairs we can wait on. Always great customer service, always quick repairs and the price is always right where the quote was. I feel very comfortable with leaving my vehicle there for service and having them deal directly with my wife too (that CAN NOT be said for a lot of repair shops). Isaac and Don have gone above and beyond with doing the little things that make my wifes experience fantastic such as vacuuming out the car after a tire swap! Any other place doing that? Free carwash after the service? Forget about it. Edina Tire and Auto is a great place and I have referred many of my friends to the shop without any hesitation.

Theyre customer service was very nice, and replaced my radiator in less than a few hours, however they charge you just to walk in the door. They charged me fees just to do a tube check, when it was pretty obvious my radiator was leaking fluid everywhere. After spending way more than I shouldve for such a quick fix, they continued to burden me about other problems that were not at all urgent, trying to convince me I should spend an extra $200 that day to replace a censor to use the heat in my car. Being it was dead middle of summer, I told them Id rather wait until its necessary since I just spent a small fortune on all the other costs. Yet they still note is at being urgent on your bill. I wouldnt go back here.*Update* as of 10/4/15: The heat in my car is in fact, NOT broken. There is nothing wrong with it, which now explains the urgency of why they wanted me to agree to them fixing it before I even came back to get my car.

Went there to get oil change and since it was my first time there they gave me a coupon for a free car wash at the gas station that was right across the street. I was charged for the car wash 20.80 and the regular amount for having the oil change. Its wieird that I never gave my card out for getting car wash but when i called edina tire and auto center they said they have nothing to do with it and they dont have number for the gas station which is right across the street! Very poor customer service!!

I had a flat tire so i put on my spare and drove it in. 30 minutes later they had the spare back on the trunk with my patched tire back in place. They even topped the air in all the tires to spec and gave me a ticket for a free carwash. The Staff was very nice, respectful, and took the time to explain why i had a flat.I went to bed after work and it was fine, but it was flat the next morning. After explaining the cause, the guy says that he wouldnt recommend fixing all tires unless a second goes flat too, then consider it. aka, they didnt try to upsell me. I will return for any future repairs.

Had a flat tire and then the spare went flat. I called at 7:00pm and Jordan not only had me come in but took a look at the tires right there. He said he could fix one but not the other, and could have it done by noon the next day. Cant ask for better service than that. (Price was totally fair too).

Ive brought multiple cars to Edina Tire & Auto over the last nine years and Ive never had a bad experience. Oil changes are quick, and potential problems are diagnosed quickly and - more importantly - explained thoroughly.
