The workmanship is okay, but the customer service is POOR! I live out of state and was agreeable to paying a significant daily charge while I made arrangements for long term storage. That said, I paid the actual repair bill promptly, but they were actual jerks about picking up the car despite the ludicrous daily charge I agreed to. I think they believe theyre good communicators, but weeks passed while they were doing the work when I heard nothing. Good workmanship isnt that hard to find... I would consider looking elsewhere for better service.

I had Wagomen BRothers built a Pontiac 468 stroker that 3 other machine shops had done incorrectly costing me big $$ Wagomans engine is now 5 years old with 3 seasons of bracket racing and regular driving and it hasn’t had one issue. I see to many reviews of unhappy customers giving poor reviews because of their own negligence and get mad. Remember Your paying for quality machine work. If you buy a bunch of cheep internals from China and can’t properly set up a engine your going to have problems. If you want a 100k warranty on parts and machine buy a new OEM engine. If you want the regions best that has the experience to do everything from diesel to marine or custom set ups do what they suggest and let them handle it. I’m on my way to drop of two more performance marine engines most shops didn’t want anything to do with. Thank you Wagomen Brothers!!

The entire family of employees are so professional, polite, responsive, honest and skilled. Its like stepping back in time to an era when all of that mattered.

I was completely satisfied with the work they did on my vehicle. Costed me a lot more than I wanted to pay, it was a little over my budget. But they were able to get some of the parts for a fair price and tried not to make any money from them. They replaced some parts that would have been more costly down the road, had I waited until later. Overall, I was satisfied with the work and service. The contract person was really nice and professional. They even picked me up from my house when it was done, because I didnt have a way there. And that was really awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs work done on their vehicle. The reason for the 4 stars is because of the cost, but it was worth it in the end.

I have brought my car to Wagamon Brothers a handful of times and have always been really happy with the work. They’re honest, friendly, the work is done quickly, and they’re reasonably priced. I’ve never had to worry about them selling me a service I don’t need like I have at other auto shops. I live about an hour away and still bring my car to them any time I have an issue. I can’t recommend them enough.

Very good. I had a voice in the project the whole time and it seems good so far, but Im still assembling.They did the machining on my engine block, crank, and cylinder head, some other related stuff, for my MGB project. Turns over by hand super smoothly, easy assembly, head looks amazing... Just seems right.

Wagamon replaced my engine a few months ago. Extremely professional and skilled. Just came in for my first oil change since the replacement. They really go above and beyond to make sure the car is in good shape and they do it with a smile.

Stay away they scammed me out of thousands had my car over 8 months paid 5500 for a engine rebuild they promised me 500 horse power brought it to a dyno test it only pushed 230hp. Excuse after excuse asked for my paperwork and they didnt have anyIdk how to reply to your comment but Ill just post a picture of my car Im sure youll remember screwing me over.You pulled a motor out of a junk yard that was used for a dirt track racing. When I brought it to a high tech performance for a dyno test and to fix what you guys couldnt finish they sent me pictures of how dirty and muddy it was inside the motorDoes this ring a bell?

After 3 calls each with a promise of callbacks, I have received zero return contact from them. This is unprofessional and counter to the alleged great prior service I was told they offered for the vehicle we purchased.

They were great and easy to work with. Their staff were flexible and honest helping us to make the hard decisions when our van engine started making...the dreaded LOUD CLUNKING NOISE! Let me start off by saying when you’re in cylinder head building or machine shop type of work it is very common to not be able to satisfy customer needs and hence even more difficult to retain good reviews online. Personally I am a professional mechanic by trade and run my own shop, and these are the only guys I will use going forward. Machine work is pretty black-and-white, these guys give you every shade in between with their absolutely phenomenal service, attention to detail, and friendliness. That’s all great but I’ve stopped going to businesses that supply those things. The real kicker is these guys are experts. I’ll say it again, Experts.

Another local auto place told me I needed a new engine. After Tom and his staff of technicians looked at my engine they told me I did not need a new engine! We brought our 09 Outback in a few weeks ago originally for head gasket replacement, and we are delighted about all the work they were able to do for us. We were actually referred here by our normal shop because they didnt have enough time and people to do a head gasket job, but they knew Wagamon Brothers would. We have a third-party extended warranty, and Wagamon worked adamantly to ensure everything that could be covered would be. We werent in dire need of having the car done right away, so we were happy to leave it there for any and all repairs it needed. We had almost $4,000 of repairs and maintenance, and we only had to pay about $900 of it - and not once did I have to hassle with the extended warranty company. They did everything for us. Their communication was great the whole time, and they even called to check on how everything was going a few days later when we had the car back. Everything is great with the car now, and were very grateful for our experience here.

Pat Wagamon made arrangements to have my car towed back to their shop. At no charge to me. The repairs were made with no questions. Needed a re-manufactured engine and was referred to Wagamon Brothers by my local shop. Very smooth experience in scheduling, great communication during the work with completion at the promised time. Brought these people an old Dodge V8 engine, very dissatisfied. Dropped off beginning of December 2016 and just got back beginning of December 2017. I brought them the entire engine disassembled. Told them I wanted everything cleaned and engine returned assembled as a long block. $1800!!! I provided all of the parts as they are kind of hard to find. For 3 months they told me every week It will be completed by mid to late next week. I called every week and got the same run around. Finally I stopped calling. A few more weeks went by and I called to see if they were done and they said yes, its ready. Thanks for letting me know. When I went to pick it up they said here it is and showed me a short block. I asked where are my heads and they had to look around for them. I then asked where are the rest of my parts and it took a while to sort through their poorly kept inventory of peoples stuff. When found I saw that it was still as greasy as a year earlier when I dropped it off. I told them I wanted the stuff cleaned and I was not going to pay any more for it. Now I am getting ready to start the final assembly of the engine and I am just hoping all my parts are here and this thing will work. I see other people who give bad reviews and I am guessing Wagamon do not care. I got a recommendation to go here and I am not happy. My recommendation to every one else is find somewhere else to go for engine work.

Fantastic job completely replacing the gas line on my car that still has a lot of life left in it. Saved me from having to prematurely junk it, as was recommended by another shop. They were courteous and the estimate they gave for the work was reliable. Well done. I would go back anytime.

Where is the front door? There are signs on the street but no indication as to where to enter the building. I wandered around the building for awhile before I was able to figure it out. Then I was told that they couldnt perform the repair I needed because the parts were unavailable, and I would have to replace the entire engine. I went home and called the dealership and they had all of the parts on hand. I realize they are busy, and probably just didnt want to do the job but no need to lie about it.

I recently brought in my Subaru to get the head gasket replaced after the Subaru dealer recommended that I get it replaced through them. The dealers price was outrageous so I brought it in to Wagamon Bros. I later received a call from Wagamon Bros saying that after running several tests, they determined that I didnt need the head gasket replaced after all. I was blown away by their integrity and that they then didnt try to sell me something else that I didnt need done. In my experience, honesty like that is pretty rare in this industry so I will definitely be back if I need something done for my car.

My car needed to have its engine replaced as it was my only option. I was recommended this shop by a coworker and they did a fantastic job! I got my car back in a week and a half and they knew that because my car was an everyday car for me, they worked their fastest to get me my car back. They were all friendly and answered my questions. Absolutely great shop. They have full machining capabilities there, so basically anything you need done to an engine they can do. I had broken the timing chain on my 88 Toyota Pickup and Pat helped me diagnose what I needed done and got all the parts for me super fast. Great service, I will definitely be coming back for any future engine work.

My husband found this establishment while researching jeep engines vs rebuilt. Our jeep wrangler needed an overhaul, but old man winter got to her first by freezing it and making the engine seize when it was 30 below. Staff was professional, they were upfront with him on everything that had to be done on the jeep. It runs just like it did when we first purchased the vehicle 15 years ago. Also we have replaced engines on our favorite vehicles and have had to wait up to six months for a newer used engine. I would highly suggest getting an engine rebuilt over a replacement any time and having Wagamon do the work. They have fast turn around and by far better workmanship than other establishments we have tried in the past. Thank you for the great job.

My 2013 Impala died when I was pulling into a store parking lot. I towed it to a nearby place and they said there engine was shot. They offered a cheap engine with 60k miles and a 90 day parts only warranty or a rebuilt engine for twice the price. I towed it to a trusted shop for a second opinion and they confirmed that the engine was shot and they didnt really have the ability to replace it properly. They suggested Wagamon Bros where Angie sourced me a used 2017 engine with 19k miles and even accommodated my request for a longer warranty. My car has new life and I paid less than half of what Id pay for a mediocre car with high miles. Car runs like a dream 2 weeks in, I got a fair deal, and friendly service. Ill be in touch if anything changes.

We had an appointment and left our boat at Wagamon on May 17 of 2019 for engine diagnostic work. Seven weeks later, they had worked on the boat for 5 hours and 15 minutes, and achieved nothing, except replacing two heli-coils, but had not figured out how to get the engine to run. They left our boat outside, uncovered, allowing the new intake manifold to corrode and the valley pan to get rusted. There was an engine cover and boat cover they did not use. The boat cover was cut while in their possession (a 10 inch long gash). They were getting to disassemble the engine because the cam timing was wrong (again, this is after having the boat for 7 weeks), and the cam timing was not wrong. They had no idea what they were doing.We sent the boat to another engine shop and they had the boat running within 3 hours. The issue was the firing order from the distributor.

I just wanted to say these guys stand behind what they do. I had a few typical issues that can go wrong with a small block Chevrolet that are out of the engine builders control. I brought it back they fixed it no charge. I will be using them again on future builds.

Wagamon Brothers fixed up our RV. Were very helpful in explaining the problems and what they did to fix them. Another plus is that they are able to take on larger vehicles (in our case a RV) that most other shops could not handle. Next time we have car issues we will be back.

I was told by the Dealer that I needed to replace the Power Steering pump. When I called Wagamons to get a quote on replacement to compare their price was considerably lower plus they told me they doubted the pump needed to be replaced on a 5 year old vehicle. After I brought the vehicle in, they confirmed the Power Steering is fine! They saved me over $1300!! Their customer service is exceptional! Integrity is off the charts. Before you go and get work done that the Dealer tells you that you need, I would definitely bring it to Wagamons for an honest evaluation. As a women, I always feel like I am being taken advantage of when it comes to car repairs. I am so thankful their is an honest and family owned business i can trust. Reliable transportation is more important than the roof over your head. Someone told me that years ago. And with my take on investing in what I own rather than opting for new (and a car payment) Im all-hands on board with Wagamon Bros. and their work on my Subaru Forester 2005/2.5T. After taking my vehicle around town and on the highway, I can report that the engine performs again with beauty and integrity. The Bros. gave me good and fair advice and pricing. I am very satisfied with the work done on my car. Only one point of concern. When called to get the work done, I was told to bring my car in on Monday morning. The work on my car didnt start until Wednesday. I would have rather dropped my car off on the day the the work could be started. I want to minimize the days I am without my vehicle.
