Im so happy I found this record store! Great selection, always changing inventory so its a fresh experience every time. One could spend a fortune on great music here at reasonable prices. Owner seems personable, dog is friendly...whats not to like?
One of the best used records stores anywhere. Selection and prices are outstanding. The owner pays fair prices unlike some other places in town.
Great selection of records in nice condition. If youre looking for Steve Miller Band or Santana, go elsewhere. Very eclectic and tons of hard to find titles, not common 70s rockers that permeate every store. Worth the 2 hour drive!
Incredible record store, highly recommended. Friendly and knowledgeable owner. Shop dog is a major plus!
Face masks are required to enter this business which I have no problem with but there is no mention of this on the websites updated requirements and they were also unable to provide a face mask that I could buy to use, I was ILL Prepared. I guess, pun intended. I am vaccinated, without a mask and in from out of town so I was turned away. I asked if this business model made it difficult to make money for the store and the owner/manager said they were doing very well!So I decided to spend my money with other businesses in the area that appreciated the sales and needed it more than this place. I would also hope you take your business to other record shops that need your patronage, this one however is doing so well they only allow one or two masked hipsters at a time in their store, very exclusive and uninviting, even had a velvet rope blocking the entry way like a creepy V.I.P. room full of sad memories and traumatic experiences. What do I know though? I wasnt accepted here and I was treated to a cold cup of no hospitality. Sad.
Great store. Appreciate the additional Covid safety protocols. Friendly and knowledgeable owner and great selection.
Friendly service, very nicely organised and good prices. «Best record shop in the Midwest», a former record shop employee told me in Chicago before I took off to MKE. I tend to agree!
This store has one of the most amazing selections of LPs! I could spend days in here and never see the same record twice.
Awesome place and kickass owner!! He knows his stuff!!
I walked and talked to the owner. I didnt know that it was curbside service only. He gave me the update. I asked about a few artists at the door. He showed me what he had and I did find a few albums that I was looking for. He was cool to talk to, and I had a pretty good experience. Will probably go back. If you are just dropping by, I would know what you are looking for.
Acme always the best curated records of any record store I have ever been to. Currently they are walk up only. Pick from their discogs listings and then go pick them up. Open for a few hours on Fridays now.
The best record store anywhere...bar none!
Great security, the dog barks to let the store know when someone comes in and smells everyone down as they enter, 10/10 great job deserves a raise. Also, great choice of records, range from 5 to 45 dollars depending on if theyre original or not so, pretty good
Love and care has obviously been put into the organization of the collection. Much appreciated.
This place has a great selection of vinyl. Lots of stuff from every genre. Prices are on the high side so be warned. Owner was pleasant enough. I like that they keep their albums in plastic protective sleeves. Just wish the prices weren’t quite so steep.
Great stop for serious collectors. They have a ton of harder to find/semi-obscure stuff. Prices arent bad, considering the quality of the inventory. Its nice to not have to sift through a bunch of Steve Miller and Foreigner to find what you came for.
Very nice browsing atmosphere, well laid out, though a little sparse on the labeling. Caters to a wide variety of musical tastes, very well stocked selection, good prices. Highly recommend for new and used.
Best previously owned vinyl & CD tunes store in the area. Hands down, the best! And we have some very very good ones around.
An old-school hole in the wall record store. I would say 90% of their stock is vinyl. So dont go expecting CDs. A large collection of rock and jazz with an impressive section of experimental oddities. World music is also well represented, broken down by region. A haven for the serious record collector.
A cool record store with a chill vibe, didnt feel like there was that much of a variety though, but depends on what youre looking for
Excellent curated assortment of new and old vinyl. Very well organized and fairly priced. Unlimited treasures to be found in all categories.
A very diverse selection of hard to find records. Theres something here for everyone, I highly recommend you take a look.
Cool shop. Super strange, dissonant tribal music playing when I went in--I can get behind diverse music, just seems like a waste with so much great music on hand. Nice dog running around redeemed that though :)
Great store with lots of uncommon titles. Some of the workers are engaging, others apear almost comatose staring at their computer screen. Stock rotates regularly. Interesting stuff to explore thats not mainstream derivatives.
Dangerously good selection. I could spend a fortune here. This is a super cool place. Yeah, and a dog greets everyone. I live 6 hours away, and its worth the drive.
Always worth a stop! Really consistent excellent selection! Well priced, well organized.
Laid back, deep bins, felt comfortable taking my time looking though it all. Will definitely be back.
Great selection of music here. Great prices! Would definitely go back.
The most diverse selection and best pricing of any shop in milwaukee. incredibly friendly and knowledgeable staff.
One of the best record stores in town. Milwaukee is lucky to have Acme.
Solid selection of music. Lots of gems in jazz section. Somethings are a bit expensive, but others are reasonably priced. They give fair value on items you sell/trade to the store.
With a name like this youd expect wild e coyote to greet you. Disappointed
Pretty cool spot. Small but pretty good selection.
Great shop for jazz, funk, electronic, soul, breaks rare original and some reissue LPs. Worth a stop for collectors and djs and Im leaving a good review because this is the type of record shop I hope is still around next time I go through Milwaukee. Well curated; low BS record factor (they did have $1 and $5 bins as well for bargain hunters).
Great store love to stop in when I visit Millwaukee great variety of vinyl manager is very friendly
Top notch. I always find something I want and the prices are great. I drive from Chicago to shop here.
Lots of great records. Staff was really friendly.
The best atmosphere and customer service Ive ever experienced in a record store. And I feel cooker just walking in the door.
Neat little shop with great selection and very fair pricing.
Great little shop with an eclectic mix of vinyl, new and old, at fair prices. Plus, theres a friendly shop dog ;)
A great little store! Support them !
Great staff great experience
Fun little store with an eclectic selection.
If you collect 7 inches youll be in heaven. Fantastic selection of new and rare.
Terribly rude, no interest in helping customers. In fact it seemed bothersome when checking out. Had stacks of records that arent allowed to be looked through. Never going back. Worst record store Ive ever been to.
One of the best record stores in the area
Good store.
Great atmosphere! Customer service is A+++.
