This is such an interesting store. Was just expecting the usual, but they have so much more. Lots to choose from. Light fixtures, all kinds, ceiling fans, lamps, etc. and antiques, all kinds of unusual items! Definitely worth the trip. Plan on returning soon!

We would recommend this store to anyone. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful and you cant beat their prices for an in-store experience where you can actually see what youre purchasing. Customer Service is outstanding. They go beyond expectations. Our salesperson mistakenly grabbed a wrong component for our purchase. Not only did the store apologize multiple times for the mix-up, they promptly traveled to our home and exchanged the piece for us! Anyone can make a mistake but they went above and beyond to rectify the situation with as little imposition to us as possible. We outfit our entire house here several years ago. We got a lot more product at lower price than through builder. Since last time I was there, seems like prices have started to creep up to those of other lighting stores.They still had a huge area of discount lighting which had very low discounted prices! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Plenty of parking in front of store or on street right out front.

The best selection, best prices, and great staff.Michelle was our salesperson, she was extremely helpful in picking out the lights and super friendly. She helped us pick out all the lights for our new home. You can stop by and browse and will definitely be helped by someone. But if you’re buying a bunch of lights I highly recommend calling in advance and making an appointment with Michelle. She saved us a ton of $$$

BBC lighting is great! Leo was super helpful and assisted us with new lighting and finding a replacement part for existing lighting that was broken. They had a great new selection, a large clearance section that was all priced as I expected. They also took covid very seriously while we were there and we appreciated thier efforts to keep everyone safe. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This is a very neat place. They have everything from antiques old Gaming machines and all the modern lighting. It is a bit pricey in my opinion. But definitely worth checking out.

Im not a giver of 5 star reviews lightly (pun intended) :+) but BBC is THE place to go if you are building, expanding, or just want an unique and fairly priced light for home decoration. Honestly, one could spend hours and bust a budget (you must resist the temptation to buy lights because they are fricken beautiful) just walking through the facility. BBC has a spectacular layout and also unique memorabilia that makes you just want to roam and enjoy. Check this place out. There is always a friendly person walking the floor to assist you. If you need a unique bulb, they have an extensive collection for you to choose. 5 Stars!!!!!!!

By appointment only due to COVID-19, we showed up without an appointment and waited just a few minutes for the chance to meet with a salesperson who was very helpful.

They have anything you could ever imagine in terms of lighting. Know what you want? They got it! Don’t know what you want? Go and walk around... you’ll find something great.

I’ve been shopping here for years. Right now it’s necessary to make an appointment. Jeremy will make the appointment. Your appointment will be with someone else. Make sure you get their name.If the showroom doesn’t have it, there are many catalogs to peruse. The stock on hand is limited at the moment ( imho) due to COVID but I feel like in a world where the rules are fluid, they’re doing their best. Still my first stop. I just need to plan ahead.

Almost all of our lighting was bought at BBC lighting. Now 20 years later as I change up things; it is still the place I go to. Check out their discount area as their are sometimes some excellent buys there. But even standard pricing is quite good.

We made a time/date appointment per their COVID19 procedures over their phone lines. When we arrived precisely or even before 3 pm, we rang the outdoor door bell after waiting patiently. A young man came out and we explained we had the appointment with a Jeremy. So, he ushered us in and directed us to have a seat on this bench and offered us two bottles of cold water (nice gesture). So far the impression was pretty good. However, from here I have to say our service experience had gone down hill. We werent really sure how their protocol worked nor was it ever explained to us. After waiting several minutes, our person Jeremy NEVER showed up to greet us as promised by the younger man who led us into the showroom. We had finally got up and started walking towards an area of this huge sectioned off showroom(s). A section we had thought might be bathroom lighting? Employees bristling and passing us several times never ever asking if we needed any assistance. After several minutes again and looking at some bathroom lighting we discovered on our own, we finally had spoken up where another male employee had said hed get us help, too. That had never happened either! Yes, there was some people in their showroom but with all of BBCs personnel, it seemed as though we had largely gone very ignored. If it wasnt for the very good pricing and lights we had wanted, we would have just walked out, period. By the way we did finally get someone on our own accord to help and order these lights we want. 10 days to two weeks to get items in a warehouse that are well stocked, with a 20% re-stocking fee if you dont want them when they arrive. How can you call our experience here good customer service?

Very unique and extensive selection to chose from. From the typical light fixtures to incredibly unique. All price ranges too. Sometimes can be tricky to corner someone who works there but thats because its usually very crowded. Great place to find cool light fixtures!

BBC lighting has an excellent indoor/outdoor selection. Typically great customer service...However, if you are looking for OUTDOOR lighting with motion detection or dusk till dawn settings, they have ZERO selection. Apparently they used to install the dusk till dawn electrical on some outdoor lights but recently stopped doing that. I was told initially they did install this. Spent a good 30 minutes picking out light fixtures and bulbs to then be told their policy changed and they no longer do electrical for this. It was a waste of my time.Menards has a great selection for MUCH cheaper with no extra work. The lights are already set up for motion detection or dusk till dawn. Not as big of a selection but I found one I liked.

I have loved this place for over a decade and a half. Every conceivable kind, finish, style, and flavor of light on display. Wherever there isnt a light fixture, youll find collectibles and art kitsch. Prices are great. If youre decorating, thinking about a renovation, or just want to look around and be amazed by the vast collection, theres no better place to shop.

Okay, if you have never been here, even if you dont need lights, you need to stop in. This place is not just light bulbs and lights. They have ceiling fans, lights, fun decor, lights, crazy weird toys, lights, a huge popcorn machine, lights, funky displays, and lights. Not only do they have a lot of different items, the prices are great.Sales people are friendly and help you through the store. Gave some great ideas and suggestions for what we needed. Went in looking for a Tiffany style Mission lamp. Found a few for around $300. Decided to look elsewhere before committing to a lamp. Found one online at Home Depot for $82. I was skeptical that it would be a decent lamp, but it turned out to be the EXACT same quality as the $300 lamps.

One stop shopping for all your lighting needs. The showroom is diverse and eclectic. The shopping and ordering can be slow and unhurried, even if you dont want it to be, which is my only knock. Interesting items are for sale not necessarily having to do with lighting, but with decorating.

We drove an hour from suburban Chicago because we had heard that this was THE PLACE to go for lighting. It sure was!! Not only was the selection incredible, but the staff was so patient and helpful. They answered all of our questions and helped us find exactly what we wanted. We also found a gorgeous mirror to complement our new fixtures (we bought three!). What a wonderful place to shop!!! I cannot recommend it enough.

Compared to online shopping, it was really helpful being able to see them in real life.It was fun just aimlessly browsing.Also some misc decor and ceiling fans.The checkout process is a bit of a cluster.

Hands down the best lighting store in the state (and probably outside the state), definitely worth the drive. Great prices, awesome knowledgeable staff, great selection. Then head across the street for one of the best burgers when you get hungry.

The representatives at the store are incredibly nice to customers. I have had 10 or so lamps repaired. Jeff in the electrical shop is extremely talented and nice...he can fix anything!! Very fun store to shop in for lights and all sorts of other interesting things. A jewel for Milwaukee!!

I wasnt sure what to expect from the exterior. You might even say that I was apprehensive about going in. The exterior made me think it was for commercial customer only. Once inside I found a helpful staff, well stocked and friendly service department and the largest selection of lights Ive ever seen. Dont buy lights at big box stores when BBC Lighting is such a much better option.

I have purchased lights here several times. The only negative is often lights that interest me are only online. That being said, they have a massive online collection. I just like to see it in person before I order it. But if you are familiar with the brand, that might be good for you.The employees at the store are always pleasant and pretty knowledgeable. On a busy day, you might have a short wait for assistance. But, there is a lot to see. They have lots of accessories for home decor, too.One thing I noted on this visit was some of the lights I had selected were cheaper in store than online.

My wife and I finished picking out our light fixtures today at BBC Lighting, and the overall experience was outstanding. First off the service provided by Steve Markert was exceptional. He let us browse the store on our own, adding in helpful tips when we needed. After we made our selections he went through our home plan room by room with us making sure the pieces we selected were going to fit the space. He made a few excellent suggestions, that we feel will greatly enhance a few areas of our new house.Besides the service the selections at BBC Lighting are vast and wide, along with very reasonable prices.Overall this was a great experience and we cant wait to see the fixtures in our new home.

Maybe its just me being frugal, but does it seem that prices here seemed to have noticeably gone up here in the last 5 years? What seemed like a good deal years ago, seems overpriced now. Plus, I remember spending like 4 hours here once and could not decide on any one item there was so many things to look at. I made a wish list back then. The other Sunday i walked out with nothing and went through the place in less than two hours. Tell me Im crazy. Then Ill go back again.
