Great place to shop at. In the staff is highly professional. And the food is clean. It hasnt been one day, that food was not clean.When you walk in there the first thing that you notice, is that the store is clean.And the staff is very open minded and kind. ❤ Isfree.

I love how informative the customer service representative was when I asked about customer rewards programs for which they dont have; but you can sign up as a shares member for $25 per year to receive enormous benefits and discounts for your family and your budget.Outpost Foods Co-op is like Sams Clubs when it comes to getting more for your dollar and making your familys budget stretch a lot more for your money. In this economic economy we all have to watch our spending habits; get the most for our dollars; and try to get through these difficult times the best way that we can.I think places like Outpost Foods and other important retailers are doing excellent job at helping us all through some of the most difficult times that we are experiencing. This includes all retailers all across the board; Kudos to you all.

People are nice but prices are high

So, I havent shopped here. BUT their cafe is DELICIOUS. I try something different everytime I go. I havent been disappointed yet. Also the smoothies and juices are good too!!

I enjoy natural and organic foods along with fresh meats, poultry, and seafood. This was my first time visiting Outpost National Foods Co-op and I was just amazed at the friendly and gracious customer service that I received; and how the company operates.The associate explained that Outpost is a food co-op whereby you can sign up for a years membership for $25 and earn member rewards throughout the year that can save you money and help lower your familys budget by eating nutritious and healthy foods.For a membership that is a great discount when it comes to saving money: budgeting your famlys finances; and making sure that your family is eating healthy and nutritious meals.Signig up as a member makes good sense especially during these difficult times that we are experiencing.

Really well kept store, nice clerks, Outpost prices 😉💸weve only had an issue with a return once- person on the phone said one thing & staff in store said another. Also parking lot is narrow, one direction, not convenient at all. Not in a good neighborhood either. But I shop there bc its the closest one from me.

Gave a five because they have an EV(electric vehicle) charger. Unfortunately I didnt have an adapter and didnt go in. Smart businesses are adding EV charging in their parking 🅿️ lots. We will see if the new Target 🎯 installs EVs.

I have been shopping here since I was old enough to go to the store by myself at 10 years old. My Dad never understood what I liked about Carob Rice cakes (they were my favorite). Now as an adult, Im a lifetime member. The location may have changed but the quality of the products have not. Thank you Outpost.

Holy cow did they get expensive! Same product $1 -$2 more than Pick n Save. Although cleaner and smells better.

Great selection and location, outrageous prices. I basically have a selective eating disorder and know the prices of many products from multiple retailers and outpost far exceeds the pricing anywhere I have seen. This review wont change that, but you going somewhere else and finding a significant savings will. P.S. They have a horrible health department record at this location.

Big beautiful Outpost! My home store is Bay View, but when I’m up north (🤣) I love stopping in for the larger dried goods selection.

The best store in Milwaukee for natural, organic foods. Love their produce especially but also their locally sourced products. From local pizza, apples, ice cream, and greens, Outpost offers a great selection of items!

One of my favorite grocery stores in the area. This store is always super clean and has a fantastic selection- especially for gluten free, dairy free, and vegan foods. I love the baked goods that are offered- the Zucchini Cupcake and Lemon Bars are amazing! They also have a cafe inside that has decent coffee, and a nice seating area. Prices are on the higher side, but everything is very high quality so i think it’s worth it. Highly recommend!

Excellent grocery store with quality foods for a great price. Employees are always super friendly, and despite being a smaller grocer, there are many varieties of brands to choose from. Even sometimes difficult to find produce is readily available here!

I LOVE THE SMELL!!! Their produce is beautiful! We love going here to grab some fresh food for day trips and stuff. I wish we could afford to shop here for all of our groceries.

Was dissappointed because I came by and the person in front of me lowered their mask to their chin. No one said a word to her. Just left. I live with someone who is 88 and has COPD. I will admit I am more careful than most. It is just sad that that individual had all that freedom and I apparently have none at all.

I used to work there and they treat their staff terribly. I worked there for 3 years and consistently was unheard and unappreciated. The higher ups are simply there for the money and care about non of the employees who actually keeps the stores running. The “union” didn’t do much besides take money out of each paycheck. I found multiple dead mice in snap traps on the sales floor and was told by MOD to wait until the next morning because he didn’t want to clean it up. Not a co op I’d ever want to support again.

When you buy your box of spinach at this Outpost, you can assuredly use every leaf unlike conventional grocery stores. Excellent bulk spice, nuts, rice, pasta. Great cafe. Extensive meat, dairy, and vegan selection. The people who work here are consistently friendly and helpful.

The Out post Is Great!! However That Light Skinned Heavy set girl in the CAFE is Very rude and disrespectful! I normally get a rushing vibe from her! I come Into the out post quiet often! And I Love How everyone else makes me Feel Special, Especially That Old Milton, and Little cheerful black girl that’s always in the cafe! I really enjoy shopping at the Out post! And I love love love the cafe area! Other than the disrespectful light skinned big mouth heavy set girl! It’s always Clean and I love that! And the security are friendly and I can tell they care about the Out post customers!!

This is a great little store. They have healthy foods in both packaging as well as in bulk. Their in-store deli has great food and you can eat it right there. Im a frequent visitor and will continue to be a loyal customer for decades to come.

They carry some of my favorite dairy products here that I have trouble finding elsewhere. The single-serving lunch items in the cooler have also proven quite flavorful and fairly healthy. The lemon loaf I bought here is also delightfully lemony and light. Ill do my specialty shopping here, but the prices are too high to make it my regular grocery destination.

My girlfriend and I recently started the Whole30 diet and figured Outpost would be a great place for us to shop. We were expecting everything to be super expensive, but it was not the case. We saved a lot of money on spices and nuts, and their lunch meat with no sugar added was cheaper than the grocery store we normally go to. The staff was great, especially Matt! We will definitely come back just because of his outstanding service!

Great selection in organic food. Staff is very friendly and they look happy. Prices are a little over average, but it helps that everything is in the store so I dont have to drive to other places. I wish they will have more variety in produce though.

Ive been shopping here for about 7 years. It consistently has great produce. The store is on the pricey side, but its very difficult to beat in terms of the number of very high quality products the co-op stocks.

Excellent place for vegetarians or vegans. Have been eating here nearly daily for 3 years now! Good and consistent quality. Hot bar is best around noon, their tofu and mozzarella sandwiches are what I live on! Salad bar is fresh, soups are good.

It makes sense to shop local, and theres no better boost to the community than our community-owned co-op, which is stocked with fresh local produce, dairy, and meats, plus packaged goods that are delicious and healthful. The deli selections are outstanding and the baked goods are yummy, whether the recipes are vegan, gluten-free, or traditional. There is even a soup and salad bar! The Outpost also makes it easy for us to help others in the community by using our $20 donation to fill a grocery bag with $40 of healthy food for those in need. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, too!

Ive worked with the Outpost team professionally and I purchase all of my produce their. Its the best produce of any grocer around. Not the cheapest for dry goods, but anyone looking for natural foods or on any sort of special diet, youll have good luck here! Very genuine helpful staff as well!

There are products here that I cant get elsewhere. Their produce is good quality (though a little more expensive) and organic is kept separate from non organic.

I love this place. Its my go-to for all things gluten free. They carry Omission Ultra Light - my favorite GF beer. Bummer they were sold out today!

A great place to by dry goods, as good of a selection of grains and flours as I have found in Milwaukee.

Quaint little Outpost location. Serves an area that can be a real health food desert. Parking lot is a huge plus on this side of town. Expensive, but so many options that aren’t available elsewhere. Can purchase their pre-made cold or bakery items using EBT cards which is amazing! I can get a very tasty salad made locally with whole foods.

I often find things here that are not available in a standard food store. Admittedly I do not do all my grocery shopping at the Outpost yet for certain things their selections are outstanding backed by a very professional and friendly staff. I also find the co-op incorporation to be very welcoming in this often profit oriented world.

Placed a cake order for my mother birthday which is TOMORROW and no cake order on file! Not pleased!!! Now where in the hell can I go to get a Gluten-free Carrot cake less than 24hrs! Not satisfied! Workers did not do much at all to help! They could have cared less.

Outpost on Capitol is the original, and still a great place for organic and local food, supplements, and more. The Fork in the Road cafe is excellent for a quick, healthy and inexpensive bite, with good espresso and fresh juice options.
