Picked this up today. Its really good about as local as can be!

Not a good experience. I bought something at (what I thought was the shelf price of $8.99 each. When I got home & looked at the receipt I saw I had been charged$18.99 each for the itemsI took it back to the store and the girl at the CS desk said that was the price. I disagreed with her as I had checked the price a second time when I went back to the store, & price tag on the shelf said $8.99 each. The CS employee went over to the shelf, she must have changed the price tag, cuz she insisted it was $18.99. I walked over to the shelf with her, & the price tag at front of shelf said $18.99. I told her, u must have changed the price tag, cuz it said $8.99 each when I looked at it 10 min ago. I simply said Id like a refund then. I got my refund & left the store!! I wont EVER shop there again!! No one likes to be ripped off!! Thats what I feel they were doing!

Really amazing and unique grocery store with lots of natural options. Truly beautiful and delicious gluten free pizzas, Chicken and artichokes, yummy. Way more expensive than other stores however they have more vegan and gluten free options than anywhere else. Id definitely call this a specialty store, not for your basic needs unless youre vegetarian or vegan. The staff wasnt that great, honestly not one person asked if they could help otherwise Id give it 5 stars.

One of my favorite neighborhood stores. They sell a little bit of everything and have nice selection of specialty items. Great place to stop after work if you need a few items vs going to a crowded grocery store.

I came across this store about 3-4 years ago and I’ve been coming ever since. They have a variety of products and produce to buy. Sometimes it does come to a pricey point but it’s not Walmart, you know? It’s a natural foods place and you’re gonna pay more for it, it makes sense.Anywho, I specifically love the apples here. Also, the cafe is brilliant. Most sundays I stop by to get me a Sunrise Sandwich and some orange juice. It’s my favorite!!

Kind of like going to any other grocery store, except waaaaaay more hipster. Really good cheeses. I like cheese.

We love shopping at outpost! The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable and the products high quality. You’d be surprised what good prices you can find as well, especially on eggs, dairy, and meat. They are taking appropriate safety precautions during this time and I felt very comfortable shopping there. Honestly, you can go wrong with anything from outpost.

Ive been a member for quite a few years. The store in Bay view has become more familiar and its smaller size is comfortable. Makes shopping a snap. Nice selections, especially the produce! Being a foodie I look for fresh and they dont let you down. Need help? Just ask, very friendly.

High quality products sold in a clean, well-kept space led by respectful, happy and engaged staffers. The produce is incredibly fresh and the local component is real and not overdone. The place is a real gem.

This was my first experience there and it was great!I’ve been looking for a grocery store in the Milwaukee area that lets you bring your own containers. I’ve been to other places that claim they do but make it obvious that it’s a huge inconvenience to them. This place made it so easy. I only got a few things but I’ll definitely be back.The cashier, I think her name was Sophia, was fabulous at helping me navigate everything!

Everyone is always wearing a mask, even the customers. Its a very relaxing and uncrowded place for a person that dislikes grocery shopping such as myself. The service is friendly, and Ive yet to find a better grocer nearby for gluten free bakery and microwaveable meals.

I love how the people that work here know where all the stuff is, when you ask to know where something is they show you instead of tell you. The people who work here are amazing people.

They put me and my baby at risk!! I have a medical disability and was treated horribly because of it by the employees and their store manager! This caused a lot of stress which could have caused me to go into preterm labor. I work in the service industry and have never treated any customer the way they did especially some one who has a medical condition. Outpost customer service response simply ignored the fact they put me in danger and left a PC response. I find this unacceptable to allow this behavior and disability discrimination to happen especially in a organic supplement store were they should understand many of there shoppers have medical conditions and that is why they shop here.I will never shop here again and I have been a customer for YEARS. I have talked with many of the other natural organic grocery stores near by and have said I am welcome in their stores and it will be a safe and peaceful place to shop.

This is the best place around for organic produce. Everyone is wearing a mask, there are signs encouraging people to stay 6 ft away from others and there are plastic partitions between the clerks and guests checking out.

The pricing here is wild, but the produce quality is great. So, theres value to be had. Also, the selection of really specific hippy/health foods is nice.Im not sure how to justify becoming a member. The benefit seems pretty low.The cafe is stellar for a quick bite though.

Rotten, over priced produce and terrible meat. Cafe workers are rude and get orders wrong. Sendiks is a much better option.

Scrumptious!I hate these so called health food stores that wont sell liquor like outpost! Outpost has a huge selection and I can quickly grab a few bottles on my lunch break or after work. Liquid lunch make it a fun day!

I spend half of my salary on their spring mix for my guinea pigs here.

I love this place. Prices can be a littler higher than elsewhere, but you honestly cant put a price on high-quality food that supports the local farmers and community. My produce from here lasts longer than other grocery stores, and the employees are very helpful. They even have homemade reusable bags you can borrow if you forgot yours! You really get what you pay for here.

The selection here is natural and organic and yet they still have a variety of options! Staff is very friendly and outgoing and made the experience very easy and welcoming. Process are higher than most places but that reflects in the quality of food you are purchasing. Definitely worth it to stop in!

We go here to buy their frozen pizza dough. It is the best we have found. We also go to buy different bulk nuts. Have tried the cashews raw, regular, almonds, flavored almonds and raw almonds. Love them all! Cashiers are always friendly and ask me if Im a owner. You can buy ownership in this business which gets you perks. We drive 30 miles just to visit for the mentioned products.

I love shopping at outpost. Produce is almost always delicious! Meat and fish selections are high quality, if somewhat limited in scope. Theyve done a good job in getting pricing to be reasonable. If you are trying to eat healthy, good food, this is a good place to shop, but probably cant be your only grocery store.

Quick! A bit of a challenge to get in and out with a 53 trailer and sleeper can.

Extremely mixed feelings for Outpost. They are a good resource for the community. Has a spot where you can even charge your electric car. Prices are typically outrageous, despite being a co-op. Very heavy on single-use plastic, which seems hypocritical. Perks of being a member are minimal compared to other co-ops (not frequently discounted). Produce may sometimes be local or regional, but I can never afford their prices. They sell some produce from local farmers markets, so I would prefer to go those instead. Cafe workers are hit or miss; many are very pleasant, while some seem afraid to ask for help from coworkers if new; one lady thought an iced latte (while not a coffee shop, it is an item to purchase!) meant to steam the coffee and then put ice in it. Another time, I ordered the Joeys Tofu sandwich (best one there!) and didnt notify me that they were out of a main ingredient (caramelized onions) until handing me my sandwich. I wouldnt have followed through with buying it. Some soups in the hot bar very much taste like cardboard. It is not a very efficient place to shop, from the set-up to the check-outs. I typically see what they sell and go elsewhere to purchase those products for cheaper. Really wish theyd figure out a better system for selling their deli products--way too much plastic.

While I am not a member, I feel lucky to have Outpost in my neighborhood. From time to time, I stop in to buy a variety of items. The produce is great. I love their bakery - especially the cookies. Of course they have a large selection of personal health products and all sorts of flours.

I belong to 2 coops in the Twin Cities and this one had many options I had not seen before. As an out of town visitor, it was great to see their focus on local products. I was looking for prepared vegan foods in the cafe area, but not many options. A very diverse wine spirits and alcohol selection for such a small store! Lots of good produce options.

Awesome place! Prices higher then a larger store, but great sales options. Check out there littler diner, some yummy food options. We love the tropical protein smoothie! Weve had breakfast and lunch options here, always very good. They also sell my favorite hummus, from the Noisy Kettle.

I love a lot of the specialty items here like the vegetable turnover and the gluten free chicken artichoke pizza. The desserts are excellent, too. There are too many to mention. There are a lot of things I can only find her.

Bratwurst is pricey, but worth it.Curbside system has a ways to go but works well enough for now.

Outpost is great!! Im not a co-op member but I feel like I always find good deals there. I have a CSA that I pick up weekly from this Outpost location which is super convenient as I live fairly close. Ive had food catered from here, gotten the deli meals to-go, and ordered a custom designed vegan birthday cake... all of which is always great!

I love Outpost! We buy most of our produce there in the warmer months and the prices really arent much different than conventional produce, especially if you buy by season. The produce just tastes better too. We dont buy a lot of meat there but will when our budget gets a little roomier. Excellent quality and a clean, friendly environment. I nearly always bring my toddlers and they love it.

I love Outpost. The more I come here, the more impressed I am. It has everything you would expect from a Whole Foods, but the produce actually seems like its cheaper most of the time. And I love that shopping there is supporting a local coop as opposed to a huge Whole Foods. Keep doing what youre doing, Outpost!

Wonderful grocery store for those who care about organic foods. Well organized and clean. Also offers a salad bar, fresh bread and pastries as well as some tasty, healthy meals for take away or immediate consumption at the small restaurant seating. Their variety of smoothies are great.

Grabbed a bite to eat at the cafe. Jessica and Julie were super helpful with explaining ingredients on their sandwiches, freshly made juices and smoothies. My 4 year old nephew has food allergies so I was pretty confident that the food and desserts served were safe for him.Theres also a deli section that sells normal deli stuff, the rotisserie chicken is priced higher than pick n save or Wal-Mart and theres also a credit union located in the store.I definitely would come here again for the cafe. Prices are moderate.

Just visited this Outpost location for lunch today and was very satisfied! The Fork I believe is their little restaurants name. They have options for the meat eater to the vegan. I had the bread fed beef burger and it was very good. Its no full of fluff burger but very basic and the beef was delicious. Not dry or blan at all! The grocery side of the store was buzzing with people shopping. Pretty cool atmosphere

Ive gone to this location for years. I enjoy the Outpost a great deal. Its a wonderful place to buy groceries and I enjoy the food in their cafe. However, over the last two years Ive had consistently bad encounters with the cafe staff. They are rude, passive aggressive and regularly make mistakes with my orders, so much so I always keep my receipt knowing Ill need it to straighten something out about my order later. Often they accuse me of making the order mistake which is just wrong. You dont treat your customers like criminals and liars. If you didnt give me something I ordered dont blame me for not ordering it or rudely say to others, within earshot, that Im a liar. This is why they make receipts. Sadly I will no longer shop at this location. Maybe if the hipsters who work there cared more about customer service and less about being overtly bored with their work I wouldnt have to go elsewhere.

Meat selection is very lacking. Store presents well, is clean and prices for high quality goods are reasonable. This is not a place I would go regularly mostly due to location. However, if youre looking for a very nice grocery store with great quality and modest selection, Outpost may be a good fit for you.

The cashier was nice and the store was small but decent order, the clientele on the other hand is not my cup of tea, I do not like to be around people that feel they are entitled and better then everyone else n show no mannerisms whatsoever, I just got out of work, was in my uniform, nothing bad/dirty nor fancy, n I was always raised to always say please, thank you, excuse me, yea I dont think a single person in that store shopping was, people hit u with carts when there is more then enough room to pass, nor did they ever say excuse me or sorry, people are pretty get out of my way type there, parking lot included. I WILL NOT EVER BE RETURNING THERE AGAIN, even tho its closer to my home, I will continue to make the trip to WHOLE FOODS where its an all around better experience!!!

Best grocery store in the area. Always has good selection of produce. The cafe has yummy food and coffee. Love that you cant go woodmans buy tons of junk food. Great bulk product section. Employees are for the most part friendly and helpful.

Not bad pricing for the quality, although sometimes the produce can be a little expensive. I love the kombucha, tea, and frozen burrito selection, and the staff is also pretty friendly and knowledgeable if you have questions. Im definitely considering becoming a member, since the location is so convenient.
