Best Hookah Spot Ive ever been to!! I live in Chicago and will literally drive up to Milwaukee just to come here. The owners are by far some of the greatest people Ive ever met (Note: I did not know them prior to coming to Oakland Cafe).In my opinion, the key factors that make a great hookah lounge include: hookah flavor, music, ambiance, seat comfortability, coffees/extras, and friendliness of owners. Heres how Oakland Cafe stacks up:1. Hookah Flavor / Smoothness: (5/5)-By far the smoothest shisha Ive ever had. Ever. Props for keeping the hookah extra clean.2. Music: (5/5)-Personal preference here, but I tend to like a mix of hip hop and middle-eastern music. Thats exactly what they play, and its always fantastic.3. Ambiance (5/5)-Great lighting, dimly lit/lounge feel, great ventilation and an incredible crowd. Mix of many different cultures which is fantastic, and can double as a great place to work or study as well as meeting with friends.4. Seat Comfortability: (5/5)-Very comfortable chairs and couches. LOVE the chairs. Kick your feet up and chill.5. Coffees/Extras: (5/5)-Great selection of fresh teas, coffee (including Turkish, collectivo coffee and espresso) as well as small food items. And they might be adding breakfast soon 😉6. Friendliness of Owners: (5/5)-Arguably the most important on this list, and these guys are the best of the best. Audey is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and makes everyone feel like family. Genuinely great people here.Overall: 5/5 - fantastic spot!

Some of the most welcoming people I have ever met. If you’re looking for the most authentic Arab style place to hang out, this is it. The music is always awesome and diverse. Best hookah and best service in town. The Turkish coffee is fantastic, especially paired with the amazing cheesecake!

This place is nice, Ive been here a few times. No real strong feelings on it. Service is friendly and laid back. Tea and shakes are pretty great. Good atmosphere for just hanging out or getting some light work done. Music isnt too loud but its defiantly a feature. Over all its nice.

OCs is the best hookah in Milwaukee. The staff always remembers me and the music and atmosphere is on point. Its a great casual place, a lot of people work on their laptops. If they are at full capacity they will take down your number and text you when a spot opens up. Cant recommend highly enough

The atmosphere is alright. However I got a table by the window and the speaker was hanging pretty close above my head and I couldnt really hear the people at my table over the music being pumped into my ears. The hookah flavor was that of the coals. I thought when I first started using it that maybe it just needed to get going. After a couple hours we had concluded that the flavor was not going to become anything more. It sort of tasted like inhaling a sparkler or something of that nature. I wouldnt recommend the mango flavor which is what I tried. Aside from the hookah part, the rest of the experience was decent. The staff were very nice and affable. The prices are similar to other places of the same nature. I didnt try any food but for what its worth, I was told the Oreo milkshake was good.

Awful service. We ordered 10 dollars worth of food and drinks and ended up spending 2 hours. 40 minute wait for little food, 30 minute wait for the check. It wasn’t even busy either. Won’t be returning, especially for such lackluster food.

Please do not advertise on delivery sites and not deliver.

These guys make the best coffee in the city. Its technically collectivo coffee but they make it differently and its worth going out of your way for it. Try the latte.

Went there for the first time tonight, and it was perfect service and really good tasting sheesha! Also the best Oreo shake I’ve ever had lol. Employees were very kind, and made sure to check on you if you needed anything. My boyfriend and our friends agreed. 10/10 would definitely come back!!

This place is honestly not that great. They didnt tell us about their 1 hookah for every 3 people rule until they placed our hookah at the table (which was a party for more than 3 people when we ordered in the first place).They charge for water and dont give the option of tap water... which is pretty dumb considering theyre serving hookah.And lastly, they dont serve alcohol... Spend the couple extra dollars and go to Casablanca.Probably a place 18 year olds think is really cool.

Worst place Ive been to. Our server a guy with a ponytail had the absolute worst behavior and attitude.He was very rude and unwelcoming. He messed up our order and when we addressed the issue to him he was extremely rude and brushed us off. When he served us our coffee some of his hair was in my cup. And he made everyone at the table so uncomfortable we just left. Would give Oakland cafe 0 stars if that was an option.
