What a cute place!! I went in there after a post on Milwaukee Foodie and I wasnt disappointed. We picked up several things (photos included) and went home to try them. Everything was amazing. Being from Germany myself its very hard to find Bienenstich. Kurts is amazing! Its not too sweet and the filling is custard based. The almond horns were amazing! They have just the right amount of almonds and chocolate. The store also has an eating area inside and out. The atmosphere was very welcoming and Kurt himself greeted us at the door. The prices are very reasonable and honestly, he could absolutely charge more and hed probably get it. They have soups and sandwiches and salads, including German potato. Ill definitely be going back and recommending this place to all my friends.

The Bienenstich is divine and the customer service was great! Ive been searching for bienenstich after tasting this delicious dessert at German fest a couple of years ago. This deli did NOT disappoint!

Where does one begin when you have so many wonderful things to say? If you’re looking for food for groups, this is your place. The owner was very kind in answering my many questions. The sandwiches were fresh, great quality, and delicious. Everything was done ahead of schedule and people complimented the food.I have thrice personally ordered food from here, and have yet to be disappointed. The sandwiches are just the right amount to fill you up and not make you wish you hadn’t eaten those last 2 bites. The paçzki were wonderful. The pastries were a huge hit with the family. We cannot wait to return for more.P.S. Please do not ever retire the cheesecake and the Apple Jacks!!

Delicious Turkey sub! I am from out of town and this was my first time here. The Turkey sub with everything on it was great. Can not wait to try other menu items when I am in the area again.

Had a tasty lunch for a first-time visit to this quaint, daytime-only coffeehouse, pastry shop and deli. Good mocha lattes. Wonderful Reuben grilled paninis. Sides were ok--The German potato salad wasnt to my liking & the pasta salad had crunchy veggies and perfectly cooked pasta but was rather bland (We added raspberry vinaegrette at home). Took home a quart of yummy cream of broccoli soup. Prices were very reasonable. We will be back to try more on the menu.

My parents surprised me by purchasing a custom 3-layer cake from Kurt Schulz deli to try and celebrate my graduation from graduate school - they bakers at Kurt Schulz event above and beyond! The cake was delicious (not too sweet), and was so reasonably priced for the size. 10/10 would recommend for any bakery needs!

I challenge anyone to find something they dislike about this AMAZING place. Small town feel, great owner, great employees. We look forward to our weekly Tuesday and/or Saturday visits. The donuts are to die for! Our fave spot ❤

This is a great, friendly location to meet friends, grab lunch, or get goodies for the office. Genuinely friendly service. Their custom cakes are both delicious and works of art! I have ordered several for very different occasions and they have been wonderful every time.

This place is amazing....I come here weekly to get their Reuben and love their oriental salad. Soups are great as well and the baked goods are beyond succulent. Everything is fresh and always consistent. The staff is delightful and friendly. Highly recommend checking it out you wont regret it!

This is such a nice local place. The owner is such a nice guy, and the coffee and hot chocolate are so good.I definitely suggest this as a placeto visit.I just ordered a cheese and sausage tray for Thanksgiving and it was so fresh and tasty. Ill definitely be ordering another in the near future.

Kurt Schulz is a Brown Deer staple. I typically go here for lunch and the staff is extremely friendly and the quality of the meats, cheeses, bread, pastas, and desserts is excellent. Tony and Julie are the owners and typically one or both of them are working. Theyre a great couple and I like to support local businesses.I typically get the super sandwich, pasta, and their New York cheesecake. My father and grandfather are both from New York and swear its the best theyve ever had. Its the best cheesecake Ive ever had, and we typically buy one for family gatherings. They are pricy but trust me, 1 cheesecake can feed 20 people! We ordered 3 and it took weeks to eat them.I love coming here and would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

After seeing Kurt Schultz Deli on Real Milwaukee I had to go and get myself a Christmas stollen and it was fabulous, absolutely the most delicious stollen I have ever tasted. It was loaded with fruit and nuts and the marzipan in the middle made it out of this world!!
