Large selection of cigars with a nice split of large cigar houses and smaller limited selection brands. Knowledgeable staff that can provide recommendations based on palette. Have only been in to pick up sticks but looking forward to sticking around for one in their lounge.

I stopped in today to restock my humidor and the staff guided me through a combination of new cigars for me to try. I love this love and really appreciate that I can mix and match cigars and still get a great deal as if I bought a whole case! Milwaukee has a lot of cigar shops to offer but I always find Uhle’s the best and most inviting! Keep up the great work!

Stopped in after a comedy show and was greeted immediately with a warm welcome and knowledgeable recommendations. After answering a couple questions I was handed a great LFD with the famous V-cut. Sat around with the Friday night crew and a couple out of towners and instantly knew why this place is treasured. These guys definitely follow proto.

I stopped in for my second visit tonight and the staff and customer were terrific, knowledgeable and gave opinions on a new cigar when asked, if you find a pipe that fits and feels comfortable in your hand, buy it as long as you can because you will regret letting a perfect feeling pipe slip through your fingers, I let one go on my first visit and on my second it was gone, so take the plunge if it feels great in your hand because a comfortable pipe is a pipe you will use and love.

My only regret with Uhles is that I dont get there enough (living in Madison). Over the years, I have spent many wonderful hours puffing on a cigar or a pipe in their delightful, cozy lounge. Jeff and Dave are two class acts, keeping both old loyal and new customers happy. The regulars who come in are a treat (never take them too seriously ;) ). Both the character and the product quality make Uhle Tobacco Company a necessary stop for anyone passing through Milwaukee who appreciates a good cigar or a good pipe, and good conversation!

Hours online said they are open till 10pm on Friday. Drove here from across town to have them close the door as I walked up to it at 8:00pm. They said sorry we are closed. I explained about the hours online, and pleaded for the bag of tobacco I just drove 20 plus minutes for. They didnt give me a coupon or any customer service! It was a terrible experience, but they still have the best tobacco around...so it is what it is.Update: my next visit (and previous visits) were much more pleasant. I highly recommend talking to Scott or the older gent who has been there for years and years. I got the customer service and conversation I expected and tried yet another fantastic non-aromatic that these folks have mastered.If you enjoy a nice and relaxing, rich full-bodied smoke, try out Blend 114 or my other favorite: Bishops Move.Also, thank you Uhles for updating the hours, that will definitely help others from finding themselves feeling cross from being in my above situation.

Ive gone all over the country to cigar shops. Each has its merits. This shop is by far the best cigar shop I have ever been to. Scott assisted me with the selection and had vast knowledge of tobacco and the cigar flavors. This is simply the best shop with a very relaxed atmosphere. Have been going here for months to buy cigarettes as it’s right next to where I work. Tonight I had an encounter with a Scott who works there (never seen him there before) and he gave absolutely awful customer service and was very rude and sarcastic. Definitely not impressed. Usually the staff is super accommodating and nice and pleasant. Yikes.

For 80 years this has been a central piece of downtown and a true, true Milwaukee treasure. Today, it remains as fantastic as ever! I would challenge a vehement tobacco hater to go in there and tell me they did not like it.

Oldest cigar and tobacco store in Milwaukee and when you meet the people you will know why they have been around so long. The owner Jeff, his son Dave and the rest of the employees are absolutely fantastic and worth the visit to the store.

They have an unbelievable selection of great Cigars, and the employees are very knowledgeable of the product and will select the perfect cigar you are looking for your taste. Jeff the owner is so nice and easy to approach and talk with, and has great stories to tell. Jeff and his employees have done a great job of carrying on the history and tradition of Mr. John H. Uhle. Their lounge and shop is very comfortable with private rooms to enjoy your Cigar or pipe of your choice. Or you can hangout in the front open shop and talk with the patrons and watch your sports on the t.v.s. It is truly a friendly atmosphere and we were honored to be invited in.

It’s a shop selling tobacco. So let’s not bring up cancer, getting cancer, people you know who died of cancer.Now that being said- it’s pretty fantastic. They blend their own pipe tobacco and it’s amazing. Pipe selection on hand is impressive and a decent variety (Peterson p lips for the win!). Cigar selection is huge also and the staff (albeit trendy) are always friendly and not invasive (that’s a good thing).

This very old cigar lounge has a great selection of really good cigars and pipe tobacco at very reasonable prices. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and can help you decide on what you would like to smoke. The lounge itself is cozy and a great place to either sit quietly by yourself or engage in friendly conversation with others who have come in. Highly recommended.

Jeff is quite possibly the most down to earth guy in all of Wisconsin...always takes the time to talk to you and get to know you. Scott is one of the most kind guys you could know. Uhles tobacco shop is THE BEST Brick and Mortar/online company! I ordered a few blends online and within a few days I received the order. I opened the box, but, I was shorted a few blends. I called and talked to Scott, (I believe that was his name)He took down my information and said that they would send out the rest of my order immediately. Today, I received not only one package, but two packages. I opened them and realized that 2 different people had sent my remaining blends. Since I did not pay for the double order, I called and let the guys know that I had received double what I was due, and since I didnt pay for the tobacco I wanted to return it to them. After a few minutes on hold, Scott told me to keep ALL of the tobacco. WOW! What amazing customer service. In a time in which it seems customer service has been pushed to the sideline, these guys are TOP NOTCH!!! You are the best! Thank you Scott, Dave and Jeff and the rest of the Uhles crew!

Went there with vintage lighter that didnt work... expected to be nickle and dime since I am an amateur collector and had no idea what it would cost to fix. Not only did the guy fix them... HE DID IT FOR FREE. Great conversation good cigar aroma. Definitely will be back when I need a cigar of quality

Went there with 11 guys for a pregame to our bachelor party on a Friday night- everything exceeded my expectations. Had a brief phone call ahead of time with Andy- he was very welcoming and offered us the private lounge in the basement (plenty of seating/aux cord for your own music) that set the perfect tone for our night, especially because they allow BYOB. Uhles was very accommodating to the novice cigar smoker and extremely knowledgeable for those in our group who dabble quite a bit. Highly recommended spot to start a night with a group of guys, the vibes in this place are top notch.

Passed judgement towards non tobacco using customers, had little to no knowledge of herbal smoking products.Inquired about a wooden pipe and was told they would not sell me a pipe for herb. Asked me leave the store after I had already made a purchase. Came in with respect, came out feeling disrespected. Tobacco kills, and there is no reason employees should criticize a customer for any reason whatsoever. Explained to whoever the owner guy was that I was intolerant to tobacco that it makes me sick when I smoke it, but that I wanted a wooden pipe to be fancy while enjoying herb is what I said. Said nothing in regards to any illegal activity, CBD flower is legal here in Wisconsin . Im happy to bring my business elsewhere to companies that care about the well being of their customers. Maybe you should switch from tobacco to a healthier and overall better product to sell to your people instead of poisoning them with nicotene

Staff is helpful and selection is good. Brands include Davidoff which one wont find at other shops in area. Prices are commiserate with downtown location. Have not stayed to smoke in shop but air circulation and seating seem to be limited. This is a friendly place and one I will shop at again.

One of the best Cigar shops in the Midwest. While it could use some TLC its the BEST Value in cigars and cigar stuff Ive found in the area. Well worth the drive to enjoy a smoke and save money too.
