I will definitely be back! Its so great to still see physical Christian bookstores! Rick, who was working up front, was wonderful to chat with! What a great guy I look forward to chatting with the next time I go back. I thought the selection was solid and laid out well by author and by category. I was excited that they had individual sections marked out for books by John MacArthur, Charles Stanley, etc.

Im new enough to the Milwaukee area that I still dont know all the cool little spots here yet, but this is certainly one of those spots. My husband and I love to read Christian literature, bibles, and Christian history type of things. This book store we found by accident - but it was a great experience. They were having a great sale at the time for womens devotionals, and my husband found a few books he liked too. The book shop was small, but I believe they had something for all walks of life. Ill definitely be back!

Customer service is outstanding! Staff are very knowledgeable about the products they offer including the author. VCY is my go to source for all of my needs on biblical studies. Their prices are reasonable with great sales. Thanks for being a gem 💎 in the community VCY!❤️!❤️

I had a terrible experience with the front desk associate, male, grey hair, clean shaven: from the moment I entered this store I was profiled as a poor person because of my work clothes, but more importantly as a “non-Christian.” The employee started the disrespect by scowling at me when I was first entering the building. My girlfriend and I had just become saved together and I was there alone to ask about Bibles. I didn’t have much money at that time and thought that a ministry like VCY would definitely have a Bible that I could have for free. Not only was that not the case, but the man working there refused to answer any of my questions. I asked him about what makes the various versions of the Bible unique, and he just said that he doesn’t know. He literally said just those three words to me while he continued to scowl: “I don’t know.” That was the response he gave me for everything. Then he basically followed me out. I just became a Christian and this is what I encountered at VCY Christian Book Store in Milwaukee.

There’s never a crowd, so you can get assistance quickly. Having said that, their selection is limited and their prices have gone up considerably. For example, a Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance was previously sold at a competitive price, but now they have almost doubled the price. It’s sad to say, but a customer watching their dollars would be better served shopping on Amazon rather than going to this “religious bookstore.”

They are courteous and they have great sales more often than not. When my husband and I go, we leave out with a bundle of goods, from tracks to study materials. We always leave with some translation of a new Holy Bible.

I was a lot smaller than I thought, but it was a very good experience. They had exactly what I wanted and it wasnt too expensive. I would recommend.

A nice campy little store. Not much to buy but their prices are pretty reasonable and hold quite a host of Bibles.Keep in mind they have no Christian board games or the like. But they do have lots of evangelical movies, tracts, and studies.Communion, offering, and other Church paraphernalia are available.

WONDERFUL WONDERFUL WONDERFULLY GLORIOUS!!! Right now Im attending a Thursday night bible study of what it means to be in Gods presence and it is such an AWESOME chew on the word of God and the simplicity of the salvation that is available to us thru the person of the Lord Jesus Christ! A saturating truth of Gods love and grace that I feel very few Christians and churches even understand and can in return articulate to the people that are so needing to know this good news of the Gospel! Im sitting in the class and thinking that the teacher should have a microphone directly plugged in to a satellite which would allow the whole WORLD to hear what God is wanting us ALL to know. VCY what a way to outreach!!! What a way to bless the community, just awesome!

Helpful staff. Didnt have the book Jesus Calling though, if thats what you were looking for. But he told me where to find it.

Highly recommended. The man at the desk was very helpful. I had several concerns and He took his time and help me sort through,until all my questions were answered .

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Wide selection of books that are well organized. There are always great bargains/sales offered.I am disabled and must use a rollator or 2 canes. The store is only accessable by steep steps from back parking lot. The door is not disabled-friendly so I have to wrestle with it and juggle my canes to enter. I dont visit on snowy or icy days because of the steps.Those are my only concerns. Once I can get in, I have a wonderful experience.

Always fun to look around. Decent selection and prices, especially the monthly sales. Staff always friendly and helpful. Worth the drive and time getting there to us.

A very nice Christian bookstore. You can find something here you will enjoy. A little something of everything. For new Believers as well as seasoned believers, and many tools for evangelism and teaching. Many closeout items at very low prices.

VCY Bookstore has been a one-stop shop for Bibles, Sunday school manuals and all my study helps for many years. An excellent source to build one up in the Word of God.

This was a very good visit . References and other great items were in stock. I purchased a dictionary by Thomas Nelson publishers and met a few people I had seen on the VCY channel and had a blessed day.

Lots to choose from, but not much on regeneration, the Spirit life. or the New Jerusalem. Prefer Chicago Bibles & Books on line store.

This is one of the last great Christian bookstores in the city of Milwaukee. Wonderful selection of Bibles, commentaries, reference materials, concordances, handbooks. They have great books by trustworthy authors, ie. Tony Evans, Kay Arthur, Erwin Lutzer, Charles Stanley, John Macarthur, Warren Wiersbe and so much more. Also a great stop for Answers In Genesis materials.
