I love bookstores but unfortunately this one falls short in that it has a very small selection of childrens books to enjoy. The staff is not very personable and extremely germophobic even with all precautions and vaccinations and masks in place. It makes you feel very unwelcome.

This is a must stop for your reading needs. They have a wonderful selection of every genre you could want in the environment of a cozy, small building. The staff are also really amazing and helpful to talk with. They are also a great stop for book club selections.

Stopped in here with a friend so she could do some shopping - I ended leaving with a number of guide books for travel. The customer service was amazing and they spent quite a bit of time chatting with me about traveling to Ireland and helping me pick out the books that for our needs. Highly recommend!

I love this store. Great childrens section and theres a little play table to distract your young ones while you browse the adult section. I special ordered a book and it was ready the next day. I also bought my mother in law a great pair of earrings here and they gift wrapped it.

Love this place for many years. Very small bookstore but well curated and knowledgeable staff who will help find anything you need. Great local flavor. Good to have a neighborhood independent bookstore.

A gem in Tosa! I love books so maybe Im partial to all book stores but this one is quaint and homey with just enough selection to make it interesting without being overwhelming. I really like how they blend books with other items like puzzles, gifts and even jewelry. Its a nice blend of items to keep your eyes fresh.Staff were super friendly - just what I would expect for a small town book shop. Someone who has read every book in the store so recommendations are authentic.Couldnt leave without supporting this lovely store so purchased two books. All my friends are dead. And I could chew on this - and other poems by dogs.Fun little light hearted coffee table books that will brighten a gray day or be a nice reminder to go visit this store again. Of course I probably dont need a reminder but just in case.

Cute place. Friendly and helpful staff. Theyve got what you might expect from a small bookstore: books (what?!), Journals, a kids section, greeting cards, bookmarks. Nothing crazy. Mostly newer books, not a huge selection.

Fantastic local bookseller, its true! Individually-tailored book recommendations, essential collection, & excellent ordering system can get you the book before you even knew you wanted it. Mass market retailers are a disaster & their stores are a mess. At The Little Read Book, I love the workers and the workers love me. Its value is huge, you cant believe it. Itll make your head spin!

It is a testament to the operators of Little Read Book and the local community that this tiny bookstore has been able to remain in business despite the constant threat of electronic books and big box book sellers. For a small, independent book seller to survive it must stay connected to the community and stay up with the times. Little Read Book has obviously done that. Little Read Books space is compact but it has more than enough books to choose from. Make sure you continue to support the local bookstore!

Every birthday my Great Aunt would take me here and let me pick out whatever I wanted. I received my first copy of Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone here 19 years ago and fell in love. Whenever a new Harry Potter book came out, I received it from this store. When I had kids I took them here and let them choose books. They specially ordered a spanish version of Where the Wild things Are for my kids and my wife read it to them. Sadly, I live in Texas now, but I often miss this bookstore.

Great little book store in the Tosa village which is an awesome little area in general with many quant and trendy shops/stores. Not a super great or large selection but they do have all the classics and if theres something you want that isnt there they will not hesitate to order it for you personally or direct you on where else you might be able to find it locally. The atmosphere is very nice, unique and quite with helpful and knowledgeable employees. I definitely recommend this to anyone whos looking for a new and nice small business like book shop for their literary needs/wants.

Refreshing to see a local bookstore. Its a nice little Shop with a lot of great books. Next time youre in the area stop on in, the atmosphere is worth the few bucks youd save on Amazon.
